09/12/2024: I had a private function upstairs in the The Highway Man Bar, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond. The food platters were stunning, including a vegetarian option which was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend ⭐️

Minutes late and you’d think we hadn’t shown until an hour later. gale was easily the rudest wait staff I ever encountered. So much so our party of ten didn’t order a starter or additional drinks. We finished our meal and desserts 30mins before the allotted time but couldn’t wait to get out

Dinner had dry hard chicken in sauce that was hot tasting only

15/12/2024: The service was impeccable and the place is very cozy and well decorated. The food was not great though. The mussels were terribly salty and the burgers were good but too heavy on condiments, while the onion rings and the spinach were really good.
11/12/2024: Food was not what we ordered and badly handled when brought to their attention. Service was not bad, but lacking in response and attention to detail. Atmosphere good, thus the return guest. But, unfortunately the last time.... we have pointed many many many bookings this way.... but can't do so with a good heart again

04/11/2024: A friend brought me to Akayu about 2 years ago and I can safely say this is now my favourite place to dine out. The food is always delicious and the staff are so warm and friendly. Highly recommended this little gem. 👌

02/11/2024: Southern style Gravy - Thank me later 😉👍🏻 first time returning to Eddie's since being home in the states. Shocked to see the price increase (but understandable) same meal less than a year ago cost us €20 less 🙈 madness.. The girls had enough to deal with fussy customer but kept smiling 👍🏻
