05/06/2025: I got two lovely hampers for my PhD supervisors for my graduation. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of the stuff I bought was Irish which I really enjoyed since I like to shop local. Brilliant place

28/05/2025: I have been using Grape and Bean for corporate gifting for the last 3 years. And I have no intenetion of moving our business elsewhere!! The service has been first class and I would not hesitate in recommending them.

19/06/2025: Excellent spot. I stopped off here on the way back to Dublin. Plenty of gluten free options. Cajun sandwich was delicious. Gluten free cheescake was lovely. I would highly recommend.

13/06/2025: Eddies used to be such a treat, but it seems like standards are slipping slightly. I wanted a fried egg on my burger. Was told it could not be done. The chicken burger when it arrived was thin and it turns out that they put two mini fillets in there instead of a regular fillet. The fries were good but not spectacular. The atmosphere was classic Eddies, and service was very good, apart from fried-egg-gate.

07/06/2025: Lovely place to go , it can get very busy though so be prepared to wait. I can't fault their service or their food. The only thing that let it down was the cakes. We ordered a slice of carrot cake to go and it was 7.50 for a fairly small piece. Very pricey. Prices in general are fairly high compared to other places.

18/04/2025: Fantastic place for solo or accompanied lunch:) The food is really healthy and nutritious and there's a generous portion of it. If you are protein lover you'll love the salmon and egg options and avocado implemented in sandwiches. This place is very popular and the only drawback are limited space and waiting queue. The latter, on the other hand shows you how popular the place is. Staff are very efficient and lovely.

03/07/2025: I ordered the chicken shawerma meal with fries and an extra portion of fries today from Malik Unfortunately, in both packages, the fries were undercooked – soft on the outside and completely raw on the inside. I specifically asked for them to be crispy, but once again, I was disappointed. This isn't the first time I've received undercooked fries from this place. Honestly, I don't understand how it's so hard to make decent fries. At this point – I do not recommend this place.

04/06/2025: The coffee was amazing. I had a decaf latte with coconut milk and caramel. Truly enjoyed it.The staff were also very polite and friendly. Wish there were bigger sizes of cups though :)

30/03/2025: Vibe bar is a trendy spot, great music and very reasonably priced drinks. The staff were really friendly and sound - very accommodating to any requests. Didn't have food here, I don't think (?) they serve food. There's a Pool Table (€2 per game), Darts Board, retro 2-player arcade machine and some really good tunes. I'll be going back for a day-time session with friends

30/06/2025: It is baffling to me how this place has such high ratings. I ordered a Thai RED curry recently. What arrived was not what I asked for. For a start, it was green and did not look appetising or taste good for that matter. I certainly tried more than once!! It was the colour of when you have a bad cold. I called them and advised that I ordered a Thai red curry amd must has received the incorrect dish. They agreed to amend my order and deliver a Thai red curry to my address. I insisted on giving them back the one that they gave me. Imagine my horror to open and once again see the sad, mucous looking mess that I had just handed back?!! It went straight into the bin, lesson learned. They seem to get good reviews for their sushi, perhaps stick to what you know and do not try to improvise outside of your comfort zone. Edit: How you could justify what you redelivered as up to standard when it was the exact same, incorrect dish that you gave me in the first place?! To be honest, had you advised me on the phone that the kitchen was closing, I would have gladly accepted a refund and gave you back the inedible, incorrect, disappointing dish that was presented to me. However, you never gave me that option. How you could be happy sending out a dish like that is beyond me, not once but twice?! However, your comment about being happy that you have regular customers puts things into perspective. You do not seem to want new customers. I find this strange for a business. Have a nice evening.

30/06/2025: My go to place for some good and quick food in Portlaoise. I keep getting the same thing by mistake because I always forget what I got last time, but hey if it works it works.

25/04/2025: Had this place on my list for a while and was delighted to finally try it I got the pulled pork BBQ sandwich and it was delicious and got an espresso too which was top notch.

21/06/2025: This hands down has to be one of the worst experiences I've had while dining out. My partner and I went to Kelly's steakhouse on Friday night. My partner who is vegan called ahead of time to double check to see if their vegan menu was still in rotation. She was told yes, their vegan menu was. Upon arriving we were told that several items from the menu were not available that evening. Ok no big deal. She's not a fussy eater. She settled on the vegan carbonara. Double checked with the waitress to see if it was indeed vegan. She was instructed yes it was. When it arrived it certainly looked great. But looked a little off. She then asked the waitress s second time if it was vegan. And once again told yes, it is completely vegan. So my partner began to taste it. Only for the waitress to come out saying that it wasn't vegan and that there was dairy in it!!! Dairy makes my partner feel very sick! Like really sick. All of this was happening while I was told my order would be at least 10mins longer as the waitress took my order wrong and had to wait for my chicken to be prepared again. We paid for the drinks we had and left. I'd honestly give zero stars if I could
