02/10/2026: As always, very relaxed. And as good as ever. Staff are great and make you feel at home! Plus Wednesday night table quiz is great fun.

16/07/2026: Another AMAZING night in the Square Bar, came into watch The World Cup and ended up playing the The Quiz. Great night with amazing staff highly recommend to all and a special shout out to the staff; Aoife, Alishia, & Niamh!! I'll be back for the final & quiz again

15/09/2026: I love a spice bag but damn, this spice bag was extremely spicy. If you like spice definitely go for it. The food is fab! Definitely up there with the best fast food. We got pizza aswell it was lovely. Everything is always perfect. Never had any issues.

30/08/2026: I ordered chicken sandwich he gave around 5 grams of chicken and a lot of ketchup and onions with Indian test

03/05/2026: Portlaoise was amazing but this pub was local clique and NOT open to visitors. Hosts put up food but locals preferred sandwiches to curl up and get stale rather than share with visitors having a few pints.

08/10/2026: Firstly I thought to myself that I'd wait to review to which I am glad that I did , this is my third time( two collections and one delivery)eating from Emperor's house and every time was flawless . The produce is fresh and plentiful to satisfy any type hunger, the building may look dated but don't let that put you off as for as I said the food is flawless and delicious too . What stood out for me is the freshness of the veg and meat to which is has me coming back for more and the wait time for delivery is very efficient and the food arrived just like it came straight out of the kitchen to the restaurant table fresh and hot , I have eaten from other Chinese restaurants in Portlaoise and this is the best one I had for quantity and quality. The price is very reasonable too so go ahead and treat yourself . The staff are on point , very attentive and welcoming and to what I experienced they will go above and beyond. To the Management and Chef thank you for providing a great takeaway I will definitely be returning for a sit in meal .

20/06/2026: Our main course dishes were nice and tasty, very generous in portion. Side rice, we're ok. My spring rolls were ok, little cool on the inside! Service was quick and polite. Basic interior, but functional.

04/10/2026: Delicious pizza and fresh, juicy fried chicken, served by friendly, easy-going staff. Being open at 2pm was a real bonus, especially when few takeaways are open that early. Great food, service and opening hours—I’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

26/08/2026: Terrible service, the person asked what I wanted, then had a conversation with another staff and just walked away with the other person. The next staff just left me waiting in a scone. The tables were filthy as was the seating. The windows, I couldn't see through them. An awful place.

17/09/2026: Got Food out of here twice the price was reasonable and staff was nice first time went in and I had to ask them to remake our munch box the chips were stale the chicken was stringy and the sauce tasted gone off and they changed it and it was alor better after being changed so went back a second time and again everything was stale cold and just rotten wouldn’t go back again 🤮

13/03/2026: We had a blast🎊🎊🎊 we had a friend from Kansas visit and we chose the Sally's for the night, it was the best choice. It was karaoke night, we meet a wonderful group of people, the service was excellent, and the music, just what we needed. My friend was so exited with the atmosphere and all. Highly recommend the Sally's

10/09/2026: It's a good gym. There is wide range of machines to fulfill ones fitness goal. A wide range of fitness classes as well. The only gripe is the smell that hits you when you enter the facility. The toilets could do with regular cleaning and fresheners. The instructors are lovely too deal with.

27/08/2026: Staff are very friendly, facilities need a bit of improvement, pool always seems cold and the changing rooms need more regular cleaning.

27/09/2026: I was taking my four small nieces and nephews to see Toy Story. Their mam came along as well. I find it a very expensive experience and that's without buying anything other than the tickets. I can only make going there an annual event because of the cost which is a great pity. Vue in Liffey Valley, close to where I live myself, is much less expensive. The rest of the experience was 10/10 - staff, service, cleanliness etc.

28/07/2026: Cannot recommend this place enough. One of the last good Chinese in Portlaoise. Their prices and portions are unbelievable. Been going here for the guts of 8/9 year I believe and just can’t stop coming back week after week. The food is unbelievably tasty and always filling, and out of the 100s of times I’ve ordered food from here I can say maybe 2/3 times left me slightly dissatisfied, which for human error is perfectly acceptable. Regardless I still ate the food and was content. The staff are quick and formal, always ready and have a nice presence to them. I’ve only ordered takeaway so can’t say much for dining in, but I’ve gone in and seen plenty of people eating. Highly recommend their Satay sauce, I’ve still to find anything in the world that comes remotely close to how nice it is. Their 4 in 1s are unbeatable value, and their duck is so crispy and juicy. If you really wanna pig out I can’t speak enough for their 10 inch happy box, dry or wet it doesn’t matter. Lovely establishment and hope it stays for many years to come :)

31/05/2026: Got food tonight Delivered and have to say it was lovely Rice cooked perfect tasty curry and the chicken cheese rolls were Amazing even gave us a free can of coke and extra tub of sauce would definitely order again

21/08/2026: Just killed one PIZZA and with Mezza Pizza garlic sauce,(sorry I have to explain, it's best cause). I'm happy best pizza in portlaoise. Ps. Thanks Mezza Pizza Guys. Ned

16/07/2026: I tell you tru the best place in town, amazing fresh food, good prices, great atmosphere and stuff, we ordered Mezze 4 nights in a row and it always came hot. I reccomend trying the chicken wings, tenders and pizza. Best garlic sauce. Definitely will come back here. Zosia from Warsaw and cousins from NC USA Sending love 🩷🇮🇪

08/10/2026: Thanks for denying us for not being local, the lady seating people, made sure we knew by being a rude as possible. I’m sure the 20 open tables would have fit us well. Shame.
