13/06/2025: Took a 3rd class group here on a school tour. The facility is considerably updated since I was last there. The children really enjoyed the day here, theres loads of activities. The staff were great too.

29/06/2025: Never met of a more rude waitress. We came in for a quick bite at 8:15 and immediately was told that the restaurant would close at 9:15. No hello or welcome. We tried order food and I ordered a starter and main course and was told they would be brought out together when I asked if I could have the starter first, I was very rudely told no, that they do not do that and that they will even say no you can't order a starter at times. I never been spoken to so rudely in a restaurant before. we cancelled our order and left. If you don't like your job maybe try work somewhere else?
15/05/2025: This was my 3rd visit to Lana around the country, every time I have the most amazing meal. The staff at this location were very friendly, the food came so quickly and such amazing quality fresh foods. I always order the chili and cashew with veg & tofu. I usually don’t like tofu but Lana do it beautifully. The chips were so fresh and tasty. The free ice cream after meal is a lovely bonus!

30/01/2025: Went for a meal when my order came out the chicken dish I ordered was very tough and chewy I sent it back and it was brought back to me saying there was nothing wrong with it . I didn’t eat it. When I went to pay they didn’t want to know about it .
I had been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. It has changed ownership , never be back again. John k

04/07/2025: Main courses were grand, I did order a sticky toffee pudding which was actually a very dry bland chocolate cake. I hate doing it but I sent it back. No fuss, the guy dealing with it was very polite and helpful. Staff are ran off their feet, not near enough of them and this made service fall short, waiting 20+ mins after asking for bill. To really emphasise, the wait staff themselves are individually great and cannot be faulted, management is the clear issue here! They really need to do better to look after food standards and smooth service

Best pizza in town
08/04/2025: Food itself was lovely, however this place is severely let down by their delivery driver.
We were 4 minutes late to opening the gate for him to enter the estate and when he got out of the car, he shouted straight at me saying he was waiting for 15 minutes for us to open the door. Firstly no he wasn’t and I have CCTV to prove otherwise secondly, regardless of if you’re annoyed at us you don’t speak to a paying customer like that.
We won’t be ordering from here again, shame really as food is delicious.

01/07/2025: I’ve been trying to get through to this McDonald’s phone the last 10 minutes. No one has answered. I’ve come to complain about my missing item but can’t get through to anyone?? They always miss items here even when we were the only people in the place. Completely sick and tired of losing money

I order from here quite often and everytime I do there’s something missing from my order and when I try ring the restaurant or driver to get my food or compensation even, there’s little to no response and I’m always left with half my order it’s absolutely disgraceful. Avoid ordering from here all together you’ll just be wasting your money if I could give negative stars I would, absolute waste of a business is what it is.
30/06/2025: Très bonnes pizzas. Il y a beaucoup de choix et pour tous les goûts , même pour ceux qui sont végétariens. Il y a aussi du choix sur les tailles de pizzas; pour une, deux, trois ou plusieurs personnes. Elles sont vraiment bonnes, on sent bien le goût des aliments.
Le service , l’accueil, l’écoute, tout est correct, il n’y a rien à dire.
Par contre, côté prix, je trouve ça un peu cher.

Burnt crusts and cold pizzas
Il never order again from here. Changed the oven from stone cooked to a tray cooking
And it's gone down hill.
Go back to the original way or don't sell pizzas
It's absolutely dirt your selling now

23/03/2025: Very disappointing. I was told it would be 20 minutes so I sat and waited. I eventually went up and asked how much longer it would be. They took a look and found my pizzas sitting out going cold. When I got home they were cold. Pizza was pretty mediocre. Definitely not worth the price.
17/02/2025: Really enjoy eating from here, each food item is nicely made, great choice of foods overall and it's not too expensive can get desserts here too.
It is located on the market square Portlaoise and has plenty of parking and on-site toilet for customer use.
The staff and service are great.
I will return.
