16/08/2025: Great food and coffee stop as we are driving through. Prices are very reasonable.

19/11/2025: Back again!! I was here ages ago and thought it was great and couldn't get much better, but I was wrong. Loads more upgrades, new little cafe area for a cuppa and cake while you watch the kids in the soft play and take a min to yourself. We had a great time again, my 84 yr old father came for the drive with us and he sat watching us on the TV when we played the lazer tag he was amazed!! We were so well looked after love roller skating with the kids its so much fun, kids also played indoor soccer to end off a very busy day, we were there for hours. Also for anyone that thinks them arcade games never pay out ... well my 8 year old is living proof, he hit the €150 prize, the manager/owner came out personally to hand over the cash. He was a great sport and so good with my son. Keep up the good work all the staff are a credit to the place. See you all again soon.

05/11/2025: Nice place for kids to play after all renovations they have done it is great to be back. Place is clean and well organised. Food was delicious , prices reasonable, staff very friendly and helpful. Big plus for oat milk for coffee 🙂

25/09/2025: Fuel is hands down the best spot in Portlaoise for an oat milk latte second to none! It has that “Cheers” vibe, the kind of place where everyone knows your name and makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is always buzzing, the staff are super friendly and its spotless. A real gem of a coffee shop!

02/07/2025: Usually have a great time in Square bar and always a top spot to go to but last night(28th June) the bouncer was being in the nicest way possible a complete fool. He said I had tracksuit bottoms on when they were clearly jeans and couldn't let me get a single word in and told me to "buzz off" and go another direction, was calling my friends inside then to tell them I wasn’t let in and then while I was on call he was proceeding to let lads in with cargos on and it just seemed like he had a personal vendetta against me for no reason. After I ended my call he then said “ok from a distance it looked like you had tracksuit bottoms on but there’s no need to be cheeky” dunno how that’s possible when he didn’t even let me speak but alright.
