19/07/2025: O’Gorman’s is a clean, comfortable pub with good food and friendly staff. The menu has plenty of choice and the portions are generous. Service is fast and reliable. It’s a great place for casual meals, staff parties, quizzes, or team bonding events. There's plenty of space for groups, and the atmosphere is relaxed. A solid option for both social and work gatherings.

14/06/2025: Sadly won't be going here again. It used to be such a great spot and the service was incredible (about 3 years ago) but the last 2 times we've gone we were left waiting for over an hour for food and trying to get the attention of service staff was horrific and one of these times we were the only ones there... Absolutely horrific service and the food is really not worth it anymore!

11/05/2025: The food was good, it all went very very sour when we were about to leave, my wife and daughter went outside to wait for me to settle the bill. Then the waiter ran out through the door and accused then of trying to skip paying and me standing in que to pay. I did not get any kind of apology for the error they made. My family were very embarrassed. I was very disappointed with their lack of professionalism and would never darken their door again. My recommendations are not good for this cafe.

06/04/2025: This place is on the go for years and it has always has been consistently good. My favourite is the Club sambo it's unreal and very filling. I have tried other things on the menu also and again I couldn't fault it. Highly recommend to anyone in the area seeking a nice sambo and coffee at a reasonable price. Definitely worth a try. Staff are very welcoming even when flat out at busier times. Keep up the good work.

09/04/2025: ##NO STARS We ordered from Ruchi Portlaoise last night, and it was a disappointing experience. The delivery driver didn’t even call and gave our food to someone else in the opposite apartment. After 45 minutes of waiting, we called, and he kept repeating that he’d delivered it to ‘some lady,’ offering no apology. He first said he’d deliver replacement food tomorrow, but when we asked what we were supposed to eat at 10 PM (we ordered at 9pm) he agreed to reorder and deliver. The replacement arrived in 15 minutes, but the quality was awful. The spicy chicken wings were half-cooked, tasteless, and just dusted with chili powder. The makhani chicken had watery gravy with hard chicken pieces, and the naan was undercooked. The egg fried rice was the only decent item. I’d like to speak to the owner about this. Overall, terrible service and food—avoid unless they improve.

24/07/2025: My son loves costa, busy bustling environment. Staff in portlaoise looked very young. Lady serving very quick speaking almost abrupt by times! But it was busy, great choices no lemonade available the day we visited unfortunately!

15/05/2025: A lovely - busy - spot. I had a sausage roll at a very reasonable €6.95 which was delicious. The white chocolate and fudge cookie that followed was nicer again!
