06/10/2025: The Barman at the Tipsy Tailor gave us brilliant service buy taking us a to a quiet section where we could watch a Rugby test. He set the match up on Sky and arranged food and drinks service for us. Thank you very much! 👍👏

30/06/2025: Nice selection of stock and best of all, you can shop at own pace. Customers not rushing about and invading your proximity space. A bit pricier but worth it for peaceful shopping.

14/09/2025: We went with our kids spice india Carrick for dinner on Saturday night. The front man staff was not welcome to us in restaurant he said we are fully booked so before come call to us.this was unprofessional behavior. we said there are empty tables we can sit there but he is totally not agreed with us and sound’s like resist. We have four kids he doesn't care about kids and said we don’t have place.Spice india have not friendly staff specially the front man he don’t have customer service skills they should hire educated person for front. I will never go back again we felt insult there. they are no welcoming specially front man. bad experienced we spent money but felt embarrassing

11/08/2025: Stopped in with family for a bite to eat. Staff was very friendly, the girl who served us was very warm and welcoming. The food was disappointing. Thr childs goujons and chips came with 2 goujons and a handful of chips. The burger didn't look very appetising and everyone's chips were overdone. The chicken curry was OK. Overall if was overpriced for what we got. The food really let the place down, as otherwise it came across as a nice family friendly spot. Flies were a big issue too.

29/08/2025: I bought a meringue today.Ive possibly never tasted anything so perfect before.

23/08/2025: Today me and my partner went to this restaurant. We weren’t greeted and stood awkwardly near the till for the first 5 minutes. A server then told us we could order at the till and then find our own seats. She then indicated to a stack of menus and waited for us to order. My partner ordered a crepe and was told they couldn’t do crepes with no reasoning, at which point she ordered pancakes. Once we ordered all of the available tables and seats either had dirt/food on them or had previous customers plates and cups on them. Once we picked our seat we received our coffees, which were nice and one of the food items we ordered. This was a tuna sandwhich which for 7.50€ was tiny and far from substantial. My partner was offered 2 or 4 pancakes and selected 2 as we assumed they would be reasonably substantial. We were incorrect and were served two of the tiniest pancakes with a scatter of bacon. We left disappointed and hungry, we went to McDonald’s afterwards as we were still starved.

19/05/2025: Staff very rude and unwelcoming will not be returning to eat there

26/06/2025: Got salt and chilli chips here and everything was wrong about them! Frozen chips quite skinny, piled with onions with afew chilli’s and very scarce peppers. Served in a plastic tub which made it very soggy and not nice at all! Paid €5.50 for it which it turned out to be quite a small portion in comparison to other Chinese takeaways in the area. Very poor food would not recommend! The girl behind the counter was friendly though hence why have given it some stars!

02/10/2025: The nasi goreng was just ok. Didn't have much flavour off it. The house special curry went down well. The interior is lovely. It was very quiet on a Sunday evening. Staff were pleasant.

20/09/2025: Wouldn’t rate this Chinese at all. Sauces are absolutely tasteless and watered down to the last. By the time I’d got the beef from the tray to my mouth the sauce had ran off the meat. Spice bag seasoning is quite clearly McDonnells or something similar and you’d near swear it was done in an air fryer. Don’t bother with this place go elsewhere.
