We had the honor of occupying room #1, dedicated to Michael Collins, with extensive historical documentation.
The beds are very high and very comfortable.
The room is very spacious, the bathroom resembles a ballroom.
The hotel in general is decorated in a vintage style, which is not unpleasant at all.
The breakfast was very good and the menu extensive.
Free parking for guests is a plus, as we are in the city center.
04/10/2025: The room is very well-kept. The bathroom hasn't been renovated recently; it still has a tub. But it's very well-kept and clean. The bed is very comfortable. It's on the main road, and parking is on a parallel street behind it; it's a 2-minute walk away. The hotel exudes Irish history. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

27/08/2025: The lobby and outside are both nice with a wide selection of movie snacks and the nachos were very good but the screen rooms themselves feel old with torn up and stained seats but that's my only complaint, I will come back

however,il be brief.food all round was awful.3bowls of carbonara not eaten.plain pasta in creamy water,with lumps of chicken&fatty bacon thrown in&soggy garlic bread also thrown im2the food.17euro a portion&2were childrens.burnt gougons&chips.we ordered2drinks&it took a half hour2bring them over.the food tasted nothing better than barfood leftovers from an ALaCarte menu.this place was recommened2us but they clearly have no tastebuds.the star is for the birthday wish.so disapointed theres not much else to say.i certainly wont be going back with my family or recommending2anyone i know home or abroad..

23/08/2025: We had a wonderful experience here, the food was absolutely delicious, made with rich flavors and cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted unique and flavourful, not how some places are when all dishes taste the same.
The staff were quick but never made us feel rushed, friendly and polite at all times making the experience much more enjoyable.
The only possible negatives are the bar across the road playing loud music, we didn’t mind this but some may. Also, it was slightly on the pricey side but it’s what you expect with authentic Indian food.
Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem definitely worth a visit!
19/08/2025: Welcomed by Prakash with genuine graciousness from the moment we stepped in the door. Vegetarian momo, steamed dumpling, tasty & a nice interlude while awaiting dinner. Lots of choices, including “level” of “spicey” and veg/chicken/lamb/buffalo. The jholilo w prawns, dal, and naan and a lamb curry were both 5+/5 ~~ and we love Indian/nepalese cuisine. There is plenty of time to enjoy the company of others in your party, the ambience & the banter w Prakash. Highly recommend.

15/08/2025: Was there a few weeks ago and cant wait 2 go back 😁 Agris was the best bartender I have personally experienced He went above and beyond. He was 100% on the ball when it came to orders we were sitting at the bar and we only had 2 order once after that our glasses never went empty the whole day/night Fantastic experience and it was mainly down to Agris. All the staff were lovely. The only downside was I ordered the beef stroganoff and 2 my disappointment it was beef stew I still ate it as it tasted nice but really wasn't a stroganoff.
13/07/2025: Went for a hens weekend away. Service was impeccable. The place is gorgeous we were well looked after to say the least. 10/10 would recommend. Nightclub was brilliant! I must mention Agris the warm, friendly, chatty and efficient barman, we felt so welcomed by him and he really made our trip!

26/09/2025: We broke our journey to Sligo for lunch and had some delicious food. My husband had a BLT and I had chicken mozzarella, both with soup. I can’t wait for our next visit.
22/09/2025: Have ate here 3 times the past 2 years and never got a thing nice in it. ZMaybe I am ordering the wrong things. Woeful bad breakfast. Got brownie cheesecake today and it was stale.

01/09/2025: We had lunch here on a weekend and the food was fantastic! Very reasonably priced. Good staff as well! I really recommend! Toilets were also very clean which is a bonus.

18/10/2025: I ordered a classic calzone for takeaway from the very nice gentleman with gray hair and a beard,he didn't charge me for extra sauce and that calzone was the best I've ever had and I go back frequently and the young kid took my order the second time and he was nice too.
I've never been to Italy but I I got pizza in Italy this is what I would expect
