26/01/2026: I arrived on Carrick on the Sunday night, my friend invited me out for a quick drink and as I walked in the wonderful atmosphere hits me with everyone happy and some traditional Irish music being played and of course, a magnificent pint of Guinness

06/10/2025: Had dinner here with my family on the 3/10/25. however,il be brief.food all round was awful.3bowls of carbonara not eaten.plain pasta in creamy water,with lumps of chicken&fatty bacon thrown in&soggy garlic bread also thrown im2the food.17euro a portion&2were childrens.burnt gougons&chips.we ordered2drinks&it took a half hour2bring them over.the food tasted nothing better than barfood leftovers from an ALaCarte menu.this place was recommened2us but they clearly have no tastebuds.the star is for the birthday wish.so disapointed theres not much else to say.i certainly wont be going back with my family or recommending2anyone i know home or abroad..

14/01/2026: Himalayas Indian restaurant. This place is fantastic. Food to die for, i ask for hot spice sauce and i got it ..service great . 100% will be back here again.

15/12/2025: Tried out the Dinner A package for 4 people which included starter, main and dessert with tea and coffee. Highly recommended. A variety of dishes to try. The staff were so good. Recommended best dishes as per our preferences. Love this place. Authentic Indian food.

01/11/2025: Very nice cafe, but crazy expensive for what I got. €4.50 for sausage roll with some crinkle cut crisps. At best very ordinary. Pot of tea was good. Has me questioning if I am back in the boom times. Money for nothing and your crisps for free!!

08/11/2025: Typical supermac, handy for late eating since they are open till 11 am. Same menu as any other supermac anywhere else in Ireland. Decent atmosphere. 3 star for service is because somehow they always manage to mess up my order

08/11/2025: Food and staff are amazing i order almost every week never hadan issue, food always arrives on time,and the delivery guys are so lovely. Definitely recommend supermacs carrick on shannon every time.

15/08/2025: Was there a few weeks ago and cant wait 2 go back 😁 Agris was the best bartender I have personally experienced He went above and beyond. He was 100% on the ball when it came to orders we were sitting at the bar and we only had 2 order once after that our glasses never went empty the whole day/night Fantastic experience and it was mainly down to Agris. All the staff were lovely. The only downside was I ordered the beef stroganoff and 2 my disappointment it was beef stew I still ate it as it tasted nice but really wasn't a stroganoff.

13/07/2025: Went for a hens weekend away. Service was impeccable. The place is gorgeous we were well looked after to say the least. 10/10 would recommend. Nightclub was brilliant! I must mention Agris the warm, friendly, chatty and efficient barman, we felt so welcomed by him and he really made our trip!

30/12/2025: Honestly is, well… honestly one of the best spots around Carrick. We were hesitant at first thanks to a less than happy experience at the Strandhill location, but thank the gods we gave this one a chance. The coffee is top-tier, the vegetarian food is plentiful and actually vegetarian (cooked separately, no cross-contamination worries), and not just sad leaves pretending to be a meal - proper veggie food! And the staff? Absolute gold. Special shout-out to Karina and Regina, who are consistently amazing and always go above and beyond. If you want good food, great coffee, and people who clearly give a damn, this is the place.

28/12/2025: Called in here for breakfast and had a really tasty vegan breakfast roll with mushrooms, kale and some kind of Irish(klondileeky??) pudding. It was exactly what I needed. Delicious! Staff were all lovely too.

25/08/2025: Best cup of tea we have had… maybe anywhere… ever. Superb tea. Coffee is also excellent and best we had while in the West.
