18/09/2025: Very cozy restaurant. We were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation. The food was excellent and the service very attentive.
I would definitely go back here again if I visit this wonderful city.
09/09/2025: A perfect first pub experience in Ireland. They had all the classics on the menu and all of the food was amazing. Tried the seafood chowder, wings, lamb stew, and brown bread. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

I went in for a quick latte (which was delicious by the way)and was shocked by how rude the Asian barista was. I asked her a simple question about the menu and was met with an eye roll and a sarcastic response. No smile, no greeting—just pure attitude,and unfortunately that was not a first time…same story couple weeks back!Definitely not coming back!

02/09/2025: Went there for drinks, stayed for their wood fired pizzas. You'll always find space to chill with your friends as there is ample seating. However, it does get busy on Fridays and Saturdays, so better to book ahead.

The Confit Duck Leg was cooked to perfection—rich, flavorful, and absolutely to die for. I also loved the Honeysuckle cocktail, a great choice for vodka lovers who enjoy something sweet yet refreshing. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to answer all my questions, making an American feel right at home. Highly recommend Cornstore for anyone looking for a memorable meal in Limerick!
07/09/2025: Celebrating my Daughters graduation from University Limerick we booked for a group of 6 at this restaurant.
We noticed that we were not the only group celebrating a graduation so the atmosphere was very good.
The service was excellent our waiter was very attentive and kept checking back to ensure we were ok for drinks ect.
The food exceeded our expectations, having been recommend to dine here, none of our group had eaten here before.
I would recommend trying this restaurant for good service and food !

Pints are ~50c-70c pricier than brand name beers in other pubs, but the taste is worth it.

20/09/2025: We enjoyed our stay of four days at the Absolute. It's clean, conveniently located near the major sights of Limerick's old city, and well-staffed with friendly, courteous, and helpful employees. My one down vote would be due to the noise level. Our room overlooked a well-trafficked road — the window of our room almost opened right to the road — and the noise of cars passing was more than a little disturbing. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend the Absolute as a place to stay if you're in Limerick.
