22/12/2024: I wanted to celebrate my child's birthday party but the service was awfull! We waited 1 and a half hour for our food and the food was so spicy that we couldn't eat it! It used to be our celebration restaurant but not anymore.

19/03/2025: Visited on recommendation from staff at Centre Parcs. The best pot of tea and delicious HUGE slice of carrot cake, homemade brown bread toasted with butter and jam. They also stock some really nice foods and gifts. Well worth visiting

02/03/2025: Delightful little coffee shop, limited seating but staff were friendly and accommodating with some additional seating for us. Delicious toasties and wraps. Superb coffee!

11/07/2024: ordered on line for ASAP. called in 10 mins later. rang bell, to be shouted at I will be there in a minute. when attendant did come to counter, gruffly asked for name and said it would be another 10 mins. It was easily 10 to 15 mins. Food was ok but tasted starchy, In fairness the attendant was the only member of staff to be seen and probably trying to serve and cook on their own

09/07/2024: The Longford pizza hut staff was very friendly. The lady was very helpful when choosing meals and even family drinks. We were famished so the food was good. Would recommend this store....

20/02/2025: Went for dinner on Wednesday, 6 people all delighted with our food! Portions are very generous, reasonable price and excellent quality. Only complaint was I didn't leave room for dessert!

03/02/2025: Visited the place for lunch on Saturday, I can appreciate it being busy and understand how stressful the hospitality industry can be. However the service was shocking, we waited by the deli to order and were told to order at the till, a few minutes later there was a couple ordering directly from the deli so unsure what that was about. We placed an order for two coffees and one sandwich. We waited around 15 minutes for the sandwich to come, it was made wrong. I brought it back to ask for it to be fixed and waited back at my table. Another 10-15 minutes went by and the sandwich arrived, thrown together, hardly toasted and on a dirty plate. Just not good enough, I’ll never go back again.

02/02/2025: Severely overpriced. Paid €25 for two coffees and 2 pots of overnight oats. The oats were watery and didn’t taste great. I’m from Dublin and two pots of porridge and coffee wouldn’t cost this much there.

27/11/2024: I was on a trip to Longford, Ireland with my girlfriend and the Market Bar holds a very special spot for me in my life. We stopped in to possibly grab a drink, but the bar area was full. So we popped around to the restaurant side and I asked the woman bartender/server if we could sit and order two drinks. She obliged, but I felt like she was annoyed by my questioning... When we sat down, we decided that we wanted to get chips as well. The other woman server gave us some cutlery and also seemed like she had a long day and was annoyed overall by our presence. There was another patron sitting near us and she checked on him multiple times, with no attempt to even acknowledge us. She even came to take one of our stools at our table with no regard for us. The service that was provided was very cold throughout... though the chips and Guinness were delicious. It was a shame that we were made to feel like a nuisance. There was a gentleman that brought our food out, and he was much more warm and inviting, he even smiled at us. (Please note: I have travelled to Longford and Ireland as a whole many times before and I am well aware of how table service works in Ireland and how it may differ from the US. This experience was out of the norm, I am sure. I just hope that you realize that a smile goes along way.)
