11/05/2025: I am left disgusted after eating here, l physically took out a hair out of my mouth from the food l ordered here. Upon making the waitress aware, they tried to say it couldn’t have been them and tried to blame me for pulling a hair out of my own mouth. After that they offered to exchange it but at that point l was so disgusted l lost my appetite, l payed and left without even touching the replacement. I will not be returning here and will encourage my family members to not visit either as the waiters have zero to none customer service skills and could do with some training

14/05/2025: We didn't stay at the hotel, but went to the restaurant. Everyone was very pleasant. Out of everywhere we've been on this trip, this was the only place to have a traditional menu. The chowder was smashing spot on. The appetizer was delicious and the beef and kidney pie, spot on. The staff was so gracious and kind.

11/07/2024: ordered on line for ASAP. called in 10 mins later. rang bell, to be shouted at I will be there in a minute. when attendant did come to counter, gruffly asked for name and said it would be another 10 mins. It was easily 10 to 15 mins. Food was ok but tasted starchy, In fairness the attendant was the only member of staff to be seen and probably trying to serve and cook on their own
09/07/2024: The Longford pizza hut staff was very friendly. The lady was very helpful when choosing meals and even family drinks. We were famished so the food was good. Would recommend this store....

28/03/2025: The restaurant was bon arrival. We were seated promptly but tables too close together. We ordered battered cod & chips and lasagne & chips with a couple of soft drinks.
The portions of lasagne and chips were too small. The lasagne especially looked like a child portion! My fish was terrible… I’ve tasted better fish in batter bought in supermarket and again the chips were similar to McDonalds chips…. terrible!
The staff were friendly and service was good, but based on the food we were given I would not recommend this restaurant!

22/12/2024: I wanted to celebrate my child's birthday party but the service was awfull! We waited 1 and a half hour for our food and the food was so spicy that we couldn't eat it! It used to be our celebration restaurant but not anymore.

31/03/2025: Ordered my food waited over an hour for it to come. Came cold no salt or vinegar on the chips like I requested and no milkshake so now I have to suffer here after the dry chips cause my mouth is as dry Gandhi’s sandles. Driver retuned with milkshake and fresh chips tho

03/05/2025: Free parking and outdoor seating. This place is always clean and tidy. Fast service and food was hot. Nice staff. Smallest toilet cubicles in the world, though.

16/02/2025: Called into the restaurant on our way to Athlone. Small welcoming restaurant. We had the turkey and ham an we were impressed!. Home cooking at its best. Great service, friendly staff. Well worth a visit
