04/10/2026: Tried the coffee on two different days with two different baristas, and both times the milk was badly overheated. You could literally taste that the milk was burned. Really disappointing especially after giving it a second chance.

07/09/2026: Went in for a coffee with my keep cup. It had stains from the last coffee on the inside. I asked the barista to give it a rinse as a favour to me before adding the coffee. They added water from the machine, quickly swirled it, threw it out and poured my coffee. I was surprised that it was so quick to come out, usually it needs a couple rinses or a wipe with a cloth. I realise now that the barista had not bothered cleaning it and just left the previous coffee in the cup. I was the only customer in the café at the time. I wish they had told me they didn't want to do it and I could have easily wiped it myself. Now I have week old coffee mixed in with my new coffee. It's a very strange thing to do for someone who cares about serving a nice cup of coffee.

13/06/2026: Was in it today got a dinner box the two girls taking the orders were two lovely girl at back was the staff cooking one lady thought she was something but mutton dressed as lamb comes to mind food ok nothing special very dirty kip really

11/10/2026: Went to Centre Parcs for the day and ate here in the evening. Had a steak sandwiches and fries. Enjoyable meal. Fast service. Staff were friendly without being overbearing. Son had a complementary mocktail, which was sweet of them. Nicely furnished and clean and tidy. Reasonly priced for this kind of place.

08/10/2026: Brought my toddler and my husband. Staff were very kind and checked in regularly. Food was lovely. Very reasonable for baby bowl. Bill over all very reasonable, food brought quickly, good service and everyone happy. Best meal out in center parcs for us.

26/07/2026: Exceptional breakfast. Tasty, full sized portion at a very fair price. Coffee was also excellent and staff very accommodating.

18/06/2026: We popped into MacsShack at that brunch awkward time where we couldn't deicde between breakkie & lunch! We each had a little of both and have left perfectly full & very satisfied after some very tasty food. We shared between two, a breakkie omelette, added some homemade potato cakes, hm brown bread was delicious, with also a chicken caesar salad, side of fries and 2 grand cups of tea! It set us up for the rest of day. Very friendly staff & nothing a hassle. Thanks a mill guys ✨️

Fav is the smoked chicken spice bag and prawn sczhuan and the black bean😍 best Chinese in town The staff is great and attentive especially Bally! Always a pleasure to deal with always makes sure and double checks your order is as asked!! He looks after everyone and is super friendly ! Be sure to visit!!

His smile was so warm and genuine and immediately made me feel comfortable. He provided excellent service, was attentive throughout, and made the whole experience enjoyable. I truly appreciate the outstanding customer service and would highly recommend this place!

13/03/2026: I cycled a hundred miles the day I visited The Courtyard Café and was very impressed with the Chicken Caesar wrap and chips that was served, absolutely outstanding.

06/09/2026: Ordered food waiting over an hour for it, food was over €70 for the order to be wrong food missing, lumpy curry, food was that cold ya couldn’t eat it, rang them back there was nothing they could do apparently, said they call me back, was on phone to them boss said it wasn’t his fault food was cold, that if we’re not happy it’s not his fault basically, said that he could give a discount on next order said we wouldn’t be ordering from them again he got smart on the phone, wouldn’t order from this spot again a joke tbh, they make out there great food is dirt out of it, tried say that it was the delivery why the food went cold when we order out of anywhere else in the town it’s never cold, food was like a rock ya couldn’t eat it was that bad I wouldn’t give it to a dog

14/08/2026: We were very disappointed. The fish was a frozen product with a centimeter-thick breading, the inside was still very mushy. We found the doner meat extremely disgusting and dry—as if a bratwurst had been cut into long, thin strips. The only edible thing was the fries.

06/06/2026: The food was amazing I had pizza chips and a milkshake and honestly I'll tell you this it was amazing the pizza was hot the chops were golden crunchy and fluffy on the inside and the milkshakes they are to die for the chocolate one was the one I had and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend here any day any time

10/05/2026: I had a great experience at Kebabish Longford. The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The kebabs were well prepared, with generous portions and good quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and efficient. The place was also clean and comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable experience — definitely recommended if you’re looking for good halal food in Kinnegad.

01/06/2026: I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I felt I had to share my experience. I arrived around 9pm and asked if there were any rooms available. The receptionist told me to wait, which was fine, but then he seemed to completely ignore me while he got on with other things. Every time I tried to ask a question, I was brushed off or ignored. In the end, I was left standing there for about 20 minutes before he finally told me they had a room available. I had no issue with having to provide a credit card for security purposes, even though I had already paid cash. My problem was with the attitude and lack of customer service. It was frustrating and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying guest. The room itself was quite old and tired-looking. There was a very stale smell when I walked in and the curtains were broken, which didn’t give a great impression. There was also loud music coming from the function room that continued late into the night. While it wasn’t ideal, it honestly wasn’t the worst part of the stay. For €120, I wasn’t expecting luxury, but I did expect a higher standard of customer service. Overall, it’s a budget hotel that’s seen better days, but the poor service was by far the biggest issue. A warm welcome and basic courtesy go a long wa, and unfortunately that was completely lacking during my stay. I wouldn’t stay here again.
