18/06/2026: We popped into MacsShack at that brunch awkward time where we couldn't deicde between breakkie & lunch! We each had a little of both and have left perfectly full & very satisfied after some very tasty food. We shared between two, a breakkie omelette, added some homemade potato cakes, hm brown bread was delicious, with also a chicken caesar salad, side of fries and 2 grand cups of tea! It set us up for the rest of day. Very friendly staff & nothing a hassle. Thanks a mill guys ✨️

11/06/2026: We by chance stopped at this lovely little restaurant, food was fresh and amazing , service was excellent staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome would recommend this place to everybody . Thankyou to you all 🙌

10/07/2026: Such a busy place, but it manages it really well. Probably the cleanest McDonald's I've been in Ireland (finally I found one). Staff are friendly and welcoming as well. This is what McDonald's should be everywhere.

30/06/2026: Horrible horrible horrible astonishing disgustingly bad service cold and hard fries some sort of mole in my chicken starters can before our drinks not even water. Had to keep asking, leaving cups on top of eachother for us to take down? Same with cutlery we had to do it ourself. Would not recommend absolutely horrible caeser salad was disgustingly over sauced music horrible

06/12/2025: We absolutely love Jolly Boys- whether it’s sitting inside in winter or in the outback (outside dining) in the summer the food, drinks and service is 10/10. The atmosphere is laid back (great music and interiors) and the staff are so good with the kids; the place is so family friendly with a great menu for everyone, including delicious gluten free options (including GF pizza and chips) 👌🏻👌🏻 They do great beers including local IPAs and an excellent cocktail menu too! Look forward to the next visit already ❤️

13/03/2026: I cycled a hundred miles the day I visited The Courtyard Café and was very impressed with the Chicken Caesar wrap and chips that was served, absolutely outstanding.

19/12/2025: I ordered a cake as a family present from The Courtyard Cafe.. It was ready and given on payment with no fuss. The staff were nice and good and I'm writing particularly because the cake was first class.. the price was really good for the top job that was done. I'm going there in future. Needless to say the Birthday cake was gone into the bellies in no time. People commented on how good the cake looked and it was tasty regards, Anthony.

17/02/2026: Chicken curry and chips horrible sauce way too salty, can't get a normal menu online or in-store, 7:30, for a portion of sausages and a spice burger. Criminal, don't blame inflation or rising costs for that

15/02/2026: Food wasn’t nice ordered a lunch box the chips was soggyand drenched in vingear to the extent where the box was falling apart from the grease and vinegar chicken was alright waited 5 mins for her to actually put the order in after I had told her what I wanted took about 20 minutes to get me food wasn’t busy only 2 people in there that had ordered over the phone before me

01/06/2026: I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I felt I had to share my experience. I arrived around 9pm and asked if there were any rooms available. The receptionist told me to wait, which was fine, but then he seemed to completely ignore me while he got on with other things. Every time I tried to ask a question, I was brushed off or ignored. In the end, I was left standing there for about 20 minutes before he finally told me they had a room available. I had no issue with having to provide a credit card for security purposes, even though I had already paid cash. My problem was with the attitude and lack of customer service. It was frustrating and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying guest. The room itself was quite old and tired-looking. There was a very stale smell when I walked in and the curtains were broken, which didn’t give a great impression. There was also loud music coming from the function room that continued late into the night. While it wasn’t ideal, it honestly wasn’t the worst part of the stay. For €120, I wasn’t expecting luxury, but I did expect a higher standard of customer service. Overall, it’s a budget hotel that’s seen better days, but the poor service was by far the biggest issue. A warm welcome and basic courtesy go a long wa, and unfortunately that was completely lacking during my stay. I wouldn’t stay here again.

06/05/2026: Very bad experience with the front staff the guy who took the order worst attitude towards the customer he took the wrong order all together when I returned the wrong food there is no least a word sorry very disappointed never ever come back again I taken orders previously from here the two girls always was very helpful but this is not acceptable and even arguing that he is right asked for pork ribs in sauce instead of pork ribs in sauce he took it as just curry sauce I clearly said my order pork ribs the main thing as a customer I got annoyed because of his attitude towards the customer not acceptable especially in the hospitality industry I am so sorry to write this

25/02/2026: Ordered a takeout for delivery for the first time 22nd Feb 2026. Never used their business before. Sorry I did. Spent 53euro on 3 kids and myself. From time of order to actual delivery took 2 hrs and 10 mins. After the first hour , waited over an hour , phoned in to enquire as to time of delivery. The person who answered the phone said he left 5 /6 mins ago, said he prob had other rounds to make before he got to me. That's fine. Waited another half hour, called again to be told same thing. Waited again, called and asked him to call the driver, so he said ill call him now. So after 2 hrs and 10 mins, driver arrives and promptly said to me" oh ye must be starving"? Yeah after waiting over 2 hours!! Your business is 10 mins drive from here. Some proper smart ass. Food was very disappointing regretfully. Spice bag especially , more soggy chips than anything. Egg fried rice usually means egg comes in it. Overall this was a very disappointing waste of time and money from a business that expressed no empathy or customer satisfaction. Delivery driver however, with his "ye must be starving"? Comment, needs a lesson in common manners when delivering a service

10/05/2026: I had a great experience at Kebabish Longford. The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The kebabs were well prepared, with generous portions and good quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and efficient. The place was also clean and comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable experience — definitely recommended if you’re looking for good halal food in Kinnegad.

17/05/2026: Absolutely disgusting service on this place. We place an order for 3 spice bags along with paying a €12 delivery charge. Food arrived cold so we rang to make a complaint as you do. The English woman that answers the phone is unbearable to deal with, always has the most disgusting attitude when answering the phone. This time around, we told her the food arrived freezing cold, we paid for extra chicken (there was no extra chicken just crumbs), chips were stale and brown and that we’d like fresh bags sent out. She said she’d speak to her manager and she’d get back to us. Half an hour went by, so we rang back. Phone rang out each time so I said I’d turn on no caller ID and the phone was answered straight away (definitely avoiding the call). Nothing that could be done, we’d just have to deal with the freezing food we received. The delivery driver goes straight out with the order so it’s not her fault and that we should just collect from now on. So that’s €50 down the drain on cold, disgusting food. They’d happily hand you rubbish and take your money in this place. Completely avoiding from now on.

07/03/2026: Dont buy from here, ordered smoke chicken each portions costs 8,50 each and you get plenty of rice and 7 pieces of smoke chicken, ridiculous and theft, will never order again and recommend anyone to stay away from these thieves
