20/04/2026: Pleasant and friendly staff. It did exactly what it said on the tin. I needed the space to do something online. Easy to find and easy on the wallet to have the room for half a day. I would highly recommend doing this if you need to do something online. It was suggested to me as I wouldn't be at home. Brillant idea.

08/05/2026: Well I basically spent €14 on bird food. Their battered sausage and cans of coke were perfect. Would have liked to have been told that their taco cheese chips had sweet chili sauce on them. The 2 people they were bought for do NOT like that and can get sick at the smell of it sometimes so it was a pure waste. Been having taco chips for nearly 20 years and never had one like this 🤢

26/07/2026: Exceptional breakfast. Tasty, full sized portion at a very fair price. Coffee was also excellent and staff very accommodating.

18/06/2026: We popped into MacsShack at that brunch awkward time where we couldn't deicde between breakkie & lunch! We each had a little of both and have left perfectly full & very satisfied after some very tasty food. We shared between two, a breakkie omelette, added some homemade potato cakes, hm brown bread was delicious, with also a chicken caesar salad, side of fries and 2 grand cups of tea! It set us up for the rest of day. Very friendly staff & nothing a hassle. Thanks a mill guys ✨️

13/06/2026: Was in it today got a dinner box the two girls taking the orders were two lovely girl at back was the staff cooking one lady thought she was something but mutton dressed as lamb comes to mind food ok nothing special very dirty kip really

30/06/2026: Horrible horrible horrible astonishing disgustingly bad service cold and hard fries some sort of mole in my chicken starters can before our drinks not even water. Had to keep asking, leaving cups on top of eachother for us to take down? Same with cutlery we had to do it ourself. Would not recommend absolutely horrible caeser salad was disgustingly over sauced music horrible

13/03/2026: I cycled a hundred miles the day I visited The Courtyard Café and was very impressed with the Chicken Caesar wrap and chips that was served, absolutely outstanding.

14/08/2026: We were very disappointed. The fish was a frozen product with a centimeter-thick breading, the inside was still very mushy. We found the doner meat extremely disgusting and dry—as if a bratwurst had been cut into long, thin strips. The only edible thing was the fries.

06/06/2026: The food was amazing I had pizza chips and a milkshake and honestly I'll tell you this it was amazing the pizza was hot the chops were golden crunchy and fluffy on the inside and the milkshakes they are to die for the chocolate one was the one I had and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend here any day any time

11/07/2026: Absolutely atrocious service... bar staff are rude and they can't even remember simple drink orders. Stay clear of this place. It's also dirty

14/08/2026: Ordered food at 19:06, email said 15min+, went in to pick it up at 19:30, didn’t get our food until 20:03, got home and opened the bag to find that we were missing a burger from the order. There were multiple other people also waiting, fed up. People came in after us and got their food before us. Really poor, if you’re that busy, limit the amount of orders that can come in online. Food was tasty but service is really poor.

06/05/2026: Very bad experience with the front staff the guy who took the order worst attitude towards the customer he took the wrong order all together when I returned the wrong food there is no least a word sorry very disappointed never ever come back again I taken orders previously from here the two girls always was very helpful but this is not acceptable and even arguing that he is right asked for pork ribs in sauce instead of pork ribs in sauce he took it as just curry sauce I clearly said my order pork ribs the main thing as a customer I got annoyed because of his attitude towards the customer not acceptable especially in the hospitality industry I am so sorry to write this

10/05/2026: I had a great experience at Kebabish Longford. The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The kebabs were well prepared, with generous portions and good quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and efficient. The place was also clean and comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable experience — definitely recommended if you’re looking for good halal food in Kinnegad.

01/06/2026: I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I felt I had to share my experience. I arrived around 9pm and asked if there were any rooms available. The receptionist told me to wait, which was fine, but then he seemed to completely ignore me while he got on with other things. Every time I tried to ask a question, I was brushed off or ignored. In the end, I was left standing there for about 20 minutes before he finally told me they had a room available. I had no issue with having to provide a credit card for security purposes, even though I had already paid cash. My problem was with the attitude and lack of customer service. It was frustrating and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying guest. The room itself was quite old and tired-looking. There was a very stale smell when I walked in and the curtains were broken, which didn’t give a great impression. There was also loud music coming from the function room that continued late into the night. While it wasn’t ideal, it honestly wasn’t the worst part of the stay. For €120, I wasn’t expecting luxury, but I did expect a higher standard of customer service. Overall, it’s a budget hotel that’s seen better days, but the poor service was by far the biggest issue. A warm welcome and basic courtesy go a long wa, and unfortunately that was completely lacking during my stay. I wouldn’t stay here again.

08/08/2026: Food use to be ok but not eaten from there for a while. Decided to treat ourselves and what a disappointment. The spicy chips weren't spicy, the batter on the chicken balls wasn't cooked on the inside, the satay sauce (that we use to like) tasted like it had been burnt to the pan. Spent €40 and €35 of it went in the bin, wouldn't even give it to the dog. Last time for us unfortunately and heard others saying the same.
