The best restaurants in Castlebar legal

24/11/2025: Amazing food and amazing atmosphere, anytime we go to castlebar and have time to spare we always go to Lana. You don't need a reservation but it does higher your chances of getting a seat, tho I've never rang in for a reservation and always got a seat for walk ins. The food is absolute amazing and it's portions are huge for the price making it nice and affordable. 10/10 would smash again.

15/11/2025: Have eaten in Lana previously but get take away regularly. Always tasty, quick service and staff are very good. Would highly recommend both eat in and take out

19/01/2026: We’ve visited this hotel venue several times over the past couple of years for gigs and performances, and today’s experience was absolutely brilliant with the Wizard of Oz pantomime. We arrived early and enjoyed tea and cookies in the café, then sat in the covered outdoor area, which was lovely. The staff were attentive and welcoming from the moment we arrived. As the show was unreserved seating, we made sure to arrive in good time and had no problem getting seats together as a family of five. The ushers and security staff did a fantastic job directing people, with members of the management team clearly on site throughout, helping to coordinate everything and ensure the event ran smoothly. Queues for the shops and toilets were very well managed, which made the whole experience feel calm and well organised. The show itself was amazing, and it was great to support a locally produced pantomime. The tickets were excellent value for money for a 3–4 hour family day out. Overall, this is a great venue for local families, couples, groups, and solo visitors alike. We’ll definitely be back again.

16/01/2026: We came to see The Wizard of Oz Panto. We left after 20 minutes. I don't mean to be unnecessarily unkind but I say this to paint an accurate description The show was not to the average production standards of a primary school play. It was unwatchable and we couldn't clearly hear what the performers were saying. What jokes we heard, We wish hadn't as they didn't land and some made us uncomfortable to be heard around children. 'Big Billy ' Whist this was not the venues fault, they should know what they are presenting to the public. Obviously, if you have a child in the production, you're going to be invested and it's going to be great fun. The venue website should have had a disclaimer. 22 Euros! Also 3 coffees and a popcorn were 17 euro and the coffees undrinkable.

09/01/2026: Great lunch spot, in and out The Mediterranean sandwich is delicious, and there’s barely any waiting at all. Coffee also always top quality!
