25/07/2025: One of the worst meals i ever had. Haddock was cold and out of a box, processed and stale looking. Really horrific food for a hotel to to serve. Waiter was overbearing and annoying

29/06/2025: I’ve got to spend a night in the University Hospital. Nearly 20 hrs no food, the mixed kebab wrap was my first meal. DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!! Taste, fresh food, broth me back in to life! Thank you Guys! Highly recommend!!!

15/07/2025: Very good Asian restaurant. We had a great meal in a pleasant and warm atmosphere. The staff is particularly friendly. The dishes were generously served and truly delicious. The place is clean and beautifully decorated. As a bonus, we were offered ice cream, a nice touch that was appreciated. The plus: a wide selection of vegetarian dishes. We will definitely be back!

13/07/2025: Delicious noodles 🍜 lovely ice-cream afterwards too 😃 We were too busy enjoying our food to take photos, this was half way through the crispy roast duck, everything was delicious 😋

05/07/2025: Was charged 4.50 for a cookie here a couple months ago. Price not displayed so you're buying blind. Spoke to owner after. Flagged that he is committing borderline fraud. Was quite arrogant on the phone. Prices still not advertised. Friendly staff. However will never darken the door again after this experience

08/06/2025: Le Patisseria Di Angelo is one of those places that’s already humming with life before you even get through the door. My friend and I dropped in for lunch and both went for the Caesar salad, because we are women of taste and routine. The salads arrived promptly, generously portioned and looking the part. The sauce was creamy with a decent zing — maybe a little too tangy for my own taste, but still very enjoyable. Between the crunchy croutons, crispy bacon, and heaps of romaine, it was a very respectable Caesar. The real highlight was the atmosphere. It’s a busy spot with a kind of friendly chaos that makes you feel like you’ve been cast in the lunchtime version of an Italian drama set in Mayo. My friend and I had a ball — laughing away and soaking up the vibe like two hens let loose from the coop. In fact, we were enjoying ourselves so much — laughing, chatting, fully living our best lunchtime lives — unless you count me nearly inhaling a crouton mid-laugh — a very dramatic lunch exit narrowly avoided). A worthy way to go, really. Special shoutout to the young waitress and waiter who looked after us — both were professional, kind, and actually seemed to like people, which feels increasingly rare in this economy. Their service was impeccable — unlike certain other nearby venues.... As for the bill? A cool €30 for two Caesar salads — now that’s value for money. So if you’re looking for lunch with great service, a vibrant vibe, and a mild chance of crouton-related injury, Le Patisseria Di Angelo is well worth a visit.

01/04/2025: Maybe ordering on a Monday wasn't a good idea. Chicken balls were cremated, rice was chewy and bland with no seasoning or flavour. Worst Chinese Ive ever eaten in all of my years

31/05/2025: Very nice atmospheric cafe, service at the highest level, the kitchen is very clean, everything is fresh and tasty, perfect for breakfast or lunch, the service was fast, and finally, the coffee is simply incredibly delicious

26/07/2025: The service was alright and so was the food but the atmosphere created by the manager was absolutely horrible with her roaring at not only her staff but also the customers which is absolutely disgusting behaviour from someone of her position in the job and with all honesty if there won’t be any progress made by her to be a better manager caring about her own team and customers the place won’t be so nice to visit it anymore

08/06/2025: Awful place, you can't imagine a worse place! For six months, the cashiers still haven't learned to differentiate between drinks - you say "Sprite", they always give you "Coke". They constantly ask again, they have poor hearing, and sometimes it seems like they just don't listen. This is no longer an accident, but a systemic problem. The food is a separate disaster. They very often forget to put a burger or a wing. Or maybe they don't put it on purpose - how else to explain this constant "undercount" in the order? The service is disgusting, the attitude towards the client is like an empty space. I hope this place will either close or the staff will be completely replaced, because in its current form it does not deserve a penny.

18/05/2025: A little gem in town, professional efficient and clean. Staff are wonderful obliging and respectful. Has its niche and does it well no more can be asked 🙂

I would especially like to mention **Alanna and Niamh Rebekah** – they are true professionals who always do their best to make every guest feel welcome and comfortable.
