28/02/2024: Lovely cosy spot, nice atmosphere, drinks were lovely and reasonably priced. Barman was very nice and friendly. Would have stayed longer only we'd a meal booked elsewhere close by but sorry we didn't cancel it and just stay at this pub. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

28/02/2024: Was here 9 months ago and it was fab, found it very disappointing this time, was a Saturday evening in Feb, wasn't overly busy but staff although were lovely they had to be kept asking for forgotten items, drinks, extra sides that were ordered, dessert items etc. Food wise starter was lovely but main course was practically inedible, got a beef stir fry, the beef was chopped up tiny and barely any in it and it was literally poisoned with soy sauce, was a big pool of it in the bottom of the dish and was so salty it couldn't be eaten. Then when bill came it was overcharged but in fairness to staff when questioned about it they sorted it out and refunded it. As said previously it was fab last time round so hopefully was just an off night.

08/03/2024: Lovely little restaurant. Great variety of sandwiches / wraps and fillings to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced.

29/09/2023: Service was as kind and friendly as best i have ever experienced. The bakery was very clean and kept orderly by the team. My family had breakfast/lunch there 3x this week--food was excellent. We were very impressed... will look for other O'Herirs in other towns.

30/12/2023: We had a really great experience here in Rua! We were stressed after a not very nice visit to Westport where everywhere was packed and Rua in Castlebar saved the day, really lovely food, hot chocolate, peanut butter brownie and super friendly staff! Highly recommend! Think we'll skip Westport next time!

11/02/2024: It's a handy place for a takeaway away as there is not much parking. They do nice food. The peppered chicken and masaman curry is delicious.

29/03/2024: Pizzeria in Castlebar. Mayonnaise sauce is added to each pizza. We ordered two pizzas for the price of Double. I liked the taste of the pizza! It was very cold because the front door was not closed.

03/04/2024: The cleanest McDonalds I have ever seen. Uninterrupted cleanliness even during busy lunch hours. Very quick service.

20/03/2024: Good food, sit-in cafe, charging high street prices but all served on high table / chairs, using disposable cartons and cuttlery. At least other cafes in town using disposables provide comfortable seating. Won't be back! Mary

18/03/2024: Waited over an hour for food to be delivered rang them a few times with no answer, they finally answered to say that the driver is being sent to the house as he had gone to the wrong one still waiting with no sign.

01/01/2024: Missed up my order and when I rang back tried to argue in any way so that they wont correct it, worst kind of treatment that a customer can get from a place where I used to order on regular basis, will never go back due to bad treatment of staff.
