05/03/2025: I am not a big fan of spicy food, but I appreciated the chicken burrito bowl I had. It was slightly spicy due to the added guacamole but overall it was good.

21/02/2025: This is the best of the franchise, always fresh, flavorful, and satisfying meal! The burritos are huge, the bowls are also fantastic, it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and the quick service make it even better!

17/03/2025: Great atmosphere, amazing spicy margaritas (be careful though, they're on the strong side!) Prawn ceviche and tuna sashimi were both incredible.

06/04/2025: Lovely small Mexican restaurant just down from O'Connell Bridge. Small but they do have a room downstairs possibly for parties. Food was really enjoyable and service was excellent. Great selection of drinks including cocktails.

19/03/2025: I'm a local and I've been using this place almost weekly for a few years. I'm getting really frustrated with the portion sizes. I thought the lad serving be tonight was messing with me. He barely covered the bottom of bowl with the rice. I had to ask him twice to add more and overall, with the rest of the ingredients, the bowl was only half full. They were out of chicken, which is fine, but I got a scabby amount of beef, half of which with basically just fat. I really used to enjoy coming here, but the quality and lack of decent portion size for the price has become a joke now.

17/11/2024: Todos sabemos que los cócteles son una estafa y nadie recibe ningún golpe por tu dinero. Pero cuando el entorno es tan encantador como el club de cócteles Stella dentro del cine Stella no te importa. El menú era interesante. El personal era atractivo y sabía lo que estaban haciendo y el precio era de aproximadamente 14 € por bebida. Probamos 5 bebidas diferentes. A la mierda. La gran mayoría eran muy agradables. Prepárate para bajar 100€ por 6 bebidas. Sin duda volveré a visitar.

21/03/2025: Disappointed with their portion sizes. For a place that was once known for being generous, their loaded fries only fill half of the container and their bowls have gotten smaller in size … all while keeping their price at least the same(or maybe increasing, I can’t remember) From where this place was 2 years ago to now in 2025 it’s going in the wrong direction and hope it improves because it does bang the odd time.

07/03/2025: Delivery was Late and cold and wouldn't answer their phone. Just eat marks it as delivered when it was not.

06/04/2025: We are from Dublin we went into Christys for a roast dinner with our 2 grandchildren age 3 and 4 on Saturday the 5th of April the food was absolutely shocking the th service was mediocre to say the least but the worst insult was that we felt profiled because of the Dublin Accent the lad took our order and left but immediately came back and asked to pay upfront before we had our meal To be honest it didn't bother us at first we thought it was just normal procedure so we paid but we then notice a local couple chatting after finishing there meal and they asked for the Bill which made it very obvious to us that they weren't asked to pay before there meal We were absolutely disgusted all we were trying to do is give our grandchildren a lovely day out Shame on yous Christy's Pub for profiling people 😒 ill never recommend or enter your pub again Zero stars for you and your establishment

14/04/2025: As a loyal customer of nearly 20 years, I’ve always appreciated this company's evolution, including its expansion into a more diverse menu. However, during my recent visit to the Rathmines location, I noticed a disappointing change: the removal of gravy as a sauce option with meals instead of drinks. What’s more, substitutions aren’t permitted—even when ordering chicken tenders (which include two dips), swapping the two for gravy isn’t allowed. Having seen how the gravy is prepared, it’s disheartening to feel this staple is now being treated as an upcharge rather than a customer-friendly choice. To add context, during a visit last week, the cashier kindly offered gravy as a replacement for four dips without my asking—a gesture I found thoughtful and reflective of the brand’s original hospitality. Unfortunately, this positive moment was overshadowed when the shift manager publicly reprimanded the employee for not charging extra. It was uncomfortable to witness this exchange, both as a patron and as someone who values respectful workplace dynamics. The manager’s handling of the situation—conducted in front of customers and with a dismissive tone—left a poor impression. While I don’t know his name, his recurring unprofessional demeanor (and concerning lack of kitchen-appropriate grooming, given his food-handling role*) suggests a need for leadership training or refreshers on customer service standards. I share this feedback not out of frustration, but in hope that the brand I’ve supported for decades can realign with the values that earned my loyalty: flexibility, quality, and respect for both customers and staff.

05/04/2025: I ordered takeaway. I had never had food from here before. It was very good. Very tasty and satisfying. It's a step above chipper chicken. I had the variety box with chicken tenders and some chicken thighs. The chips and gravy are delicious too. Also it's fairly priced as well. I will be ordering again.

07/03/2025: From 5 stars to 0! What a disaster. One customer less. Came home from work and picked up my preordered regular veggie toasted burrito—only to find it was way smaller than usual. I pointed it out and asked if they could add more filling. The store was empty, but the two new employees there didn’t speak English and were completely overwhelmed. Then, they brought out a visibly annoyed colleague from the back, who just snapped that the veggie version is smaller. I asked three times how that could be when it’s normally bigger, and that I wasn’t willing to pay 12 euros for a mini burrito. Ciao! One customer less… it’s a joke. And 95% rice ☹️😩

14/03/2025: This is my goto place after a long stroll around the city. It's pocket friendly, has clean and fresh ingredients, you can pick the items which makes it versatile. The nacho, burritos, cubes and all the toppings are extremely tasty. Try their jalapeño Verde sauce as its unique and flavourful. I would always go here and recommend everyone. Cheers.

30/03/2025: Unfortunately I ordered my food a few hours ago and it only came just there, however the food was cold and not nice at all after taking hours to come. I could’ve planted my veggies and grew them to make myself a salad bowl. Very disappointed, do better.

18/03/2025: They used to be good. They are no longer. [old review] A lovely burrito spot, Boojum ticks a lot of the boxes for people who just really want a 🌯: 1. Fresh ingredients 2. Top notch 🌯 craftsmanship 3. Good portions and value 4. Student deal 5. Valintina (the greatest hotsauce) 6. A basement area for when things get busy. 7. Music that makes you go: "oh i know that song" Would highly recommend this to friends and family, and to everyone else for that matter.

14/03/2025: We went here based on the 4.5 star rating but I can’t fathom why it rates this highly. The staff were lovely and accommodating. But the food was very disappointing. Bland yet at the same time very strangely seasoned. The meats tasted like they were seasoned with Indian spices and the flavors were just bizarre and nothing went together. This place is highly popular with young folks but, sadly it’s just not good Mexican-style food.
