25/04/2025: Wow.... had a meal here over Easter weekend the restaurant is small but very cosy and staff are very attentive.
The menu is fantastic and the quality of the food is out of this world. I had the seafood platter which was outstanding and the Lamb shoulder was to die for melt in the mouth, my wife had pear and cheese salad which was gorgeous and the monkfish wrapped in parma ham, the side are fresh and the mash potato delightful. Would recommend as had the best meal for a long time.

11/05/2025: Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, unfortunately the food was very underwhelming. The roast beef was luke-warm at best with very little gravy. I had to ask for more. The garlic potatoes were a complete mess on the plate. Guinness score; 7/10. Lovely little restaurant but the food needs some work to get back to old standards. Again, nice staff + good service, can't fault them.

12/05/2025: We received a below average meal in Killeen's yesterday. Having previously had excellent food here on numerous occasions, we were really looking forward to it, however we left disappointed and wondering why we didn't go elsewhere. The mushroom starter was swimming in grease and presentation was poor. The chicken curry was very very runny, extremely bland with portion of chicken minimal. I do hope the quality of the food improves as Killeens is such a lovely establishment.

31/03/2025: We were hungry and found that other kitchens were closed in Tullamore by 9:30 pm.
But we found Macari's online and walked over. What a treat! The food was good and plenty of it. The people there aim to please and they did. We talked with Guseppi ( I'm sure I spelled his name wrong) for a while after the meal. He wanted to ask if the food was good and we assured him it was. They have pride there in making good food and giving great service. Our visit there was March 26 or 27, 2025.

Place was packed and since it was raining - outside could not be used (welcome to Ireland).
Small wait for a table but worth it.
Food was very good.
Waitresses very friendly.
Service was great.
Thank you for the delicious meal.
Will definitely be stopping back.

04/05/2025: I went to Pizza Del Capitano in Tullamore for a birthday dinner surprise. My waitresses Sinead and Olivia were so nice and provided amazing service. I would 100% ask for both again when I come back. The food was incredible, I had 1 pepperoni pizza and was full up to the top by the end. The food was expensive enough but worth it due to the standard. I would 100% come back again and would rate it to all of my friends for a cheeky night out 🍷
29/03/2025: Excellent pizza, wonderful service. Really recommend a visit, you should look to book of an evening as very busy especially at the weekend.

For kids there is a nice playground with a large treehouse.
