19/10/2024: Went with my wife for a date night this week and was an absolute amazing experience at Daoti Sushi. From their welcoming service to the atmosphere and their wonderful cuisines, we were spoilt for choices and treated in a way that “beyond excellence” will just be at the tip of the iceberg. We definitely recommend this place for all especially the ones who want to try something new in Tullamore and believe me all your expectations will be met, especially if your friendliness and respect is given. Thank you Daoti Sushi for a 7 star experience ✌️🙏

27/10/2024: Went in at 6.10pm to be told they were no longer serving food. It's really annoying to have the wrong information on your website re opening/serving hours. Hugely disappointing and frustrating hence the poor review.

27/10/2024: Heard great things about this spot, so we said we would try it out. Staff were very busy but accommodated us straight away and service was quick. We ordered 2 dinners and they tasted good although we didn't really like the gravy but that could be a personal choice. We felt portions of mash and turkey/ham were very small for a Sunday roast. We were lucky we ordered a side of chips as they bulked it up and the chips were fab. Point to note: Bigger jugs for water would save staff alot of extra work.

06/10/2024: Myself and husband in tullamore for 2 nights. We visit this pub twice. First time during day we didn't eat but food looked fab. We called in second night 2 men playing they were brilliant. Staff so friendly they came to your table check u OK for drinks. Lovely atmosphere

24/09/2024: We had a late lunch at this pub and fortunately our driver had thought to phone ahead so that we had several reserved tables. My wife and I shared the chicken carbonara which was served with a couple slices of garlic toast. I’ve had better carbonara but at least there was plenty of chunks of chicken in the pasta. Service was good, and we all paid our tabs right at the end of the bar.

24/10/2024: attended an (Engineers Ireland) event there 18/19/20 October celebrating the Parsons family history. The grounds, the telescope, the science centre - an easy 5 out of 5 from us. Birr is steeped in a rich history and the buildings around the castle are equally impressive.

01/11/2024: Fabulous dinner at Pizzeria Del Capitano this evening, food delicious and service excellent, we had my grandsons with us and the attention they got from the very friendly waitress was exceptional! Def highly recommend it!

13/10/2024: Had some lovely pizzas from here but Got chicken & bacon pizza. Found one pice of chicken and a tiny bit of bacon. The dressing was way too vinegary … an absolute liberty for the price. Very dissatisfied.

28/10/2024: Had lunch with a party of 6. Place was packed and since it was raining outside could not be used (welcome to Ireland). Small wait for a table but worth it. Food was very good. Waitresses very friendly. Service was great. Thank you for the delicious meal. Will definitely be stopping back.

09/10/2024: “Good things come in small packages” is true for this lively garden centre. Plants and flowers look quite healthy, not two items are the same, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Pity I didn’t see their hens, but I came across a beautiful cat, who kept a watchful eye on my dog :) I didn’t try the cafe on this occasion, but noticed that it’s popular. I will be back when I’m in the area again.

06/08/2024: We had a fantastic party at Playtown last weekend for our daughter Evie’s 4th Birthday. The place is so clean, the kids had endless fun immersing themselves in role play and the party was brilliantly executed. Thank you so much again for making her day so special.

10/07/2024: First timers here. I had been lucky enough to win a family pass on Facebook so 2 adults and 4 children entered a thoroughly enjoyable 90 minutes of pure play here. No shoes allowed once inside. Very clean. Appropriate level of staff. Loads to explore and play with. Meticulous details. Not oversubscribed. Slide was a big hit. 2 of our party were aged 4 and over and could enter the ICE (Imagine Create Explore) room where they were engrossed with lego for some time but loads more on offer in this room too for the older child. Very well thought out and created. Relaxed fun atmosphere. Absolutely ideal for our children aged 2.5 -6. The kids loved dressing up and role playing. The adults savoured a sit down, natter and Cappuccino and Americano for €7.40. Highly recommended and we will definitely return and spread the word. We could have easily stayed another half hour: the 90 minutes really flew by. I actually couldn't suggest a way to improve the experience except to prolong it!! Thank you ❤️
