25/06/2026: Visiting today with 4 classes of Senior infant students on the hottest day of the year to date. It is a perfect location for a school tour for junior/ Senior infants or indeed pre schoolers with lots of fantastic Aistear themed rooms The children had an absolute ball. The venue was spotless and the staff were constantly going around tidying and ensuring the safety of the students. They also provided unlimited cordial drinks for the children, very welcome as the day was so hot. The children loved the crazy scientist and his experiments! All children hit a balloon as a gift when leaving. The tour was a great hit for students and teachers and I highly recommend!

20/06/2026: We found Playtown completely by accident after the rain ruined our original plans for an outdoor adventure, and what a lucky find it was! It turned out to be the perfect place to escape the wet weather. Our children aged 5, 2, and 8 months all had an amazing time, which isn't always easy to find in one venue. There was plenty to keep our 5-year-old entertained, a great space for our busy 2-year-old to explore safely, and even an area where our 8-month-old could enjoy themselves. Playtown was clean, well-organised, and had a lovely family-friendly atmosphere. I especially appreciated how they sanitise the venue after each session. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be keeping this place in mind and would highly recommend it to other families looking for a fun indoor adventure!

09/04/2026: Had such a great experience at this Indian restaurant! The owner himself was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the whole evening feel really special. He even treated us to complimentary drinks and a mixed grill on the house for us to try—such a generous touch. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour, and the prices were very reasonable too. Really impressed overall and will definitely be back!

29/06/2026: Have to give full marks to JJ Killeens , we had the most excellent Sunday Lunch which myself and two colleagues all agreed was top class and good wholesome hearty food. Despite not having a booking (They were very busy) the friendly staff managed to accomodate us and the lovely Carmel looked after us like royalty taking our order and keeping us informed with regard to our order and how long the wait would be. I cant praise this establishment enough so well done to the management and all the staff. We will most certainly be back!! Best of Luck Shay

27/04/2026: Fabulous food and Fabulous atmosphere no waiting time on the food and it was delicious, two days later and I'm still thinking of how nice the food is.The staff are so nice and friendly and I love the bread that comes with the table not many restaurants do that. The restaurant is lovely and homely .You feel at ease when you are sitting there.

03/06/2026: Had our first meal in Ireland at The Brewery Tap. One of the best meals ever. Staff, service, cleanliness, food quality everything was wonderful. We had cod, mushroom soup, bruschetta and penne dello tap. All prepared perfectly and full of flavour. Great food, great quality. We couldn't ask for more.

20/05/2026: This cafe was such a pleasant surprise. The BBQ pulled chicken sandwich I ordered was perfectly seasoned, juicy. My sister went for the Italian and it was equally impressive. The coffee was excellent as well, which made the whole meal even better. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and the ambience had that cozy, inviting feel that makes you want to linger. A fantastic experience overall.

31/05/2026: Went here with my good buddy Dige we both got the granola bowl, I was a big fan but Dige is very picky with his granola and did not finish it. The quality of the fruit etc in the bowl was top notch organic.

04/07/2026: Food has been delicious all times i have been there. Waitresses have always given great customer service. Last time i asked to remove onions and add guacamole on the burger ( which they always did) but the new waitress said no... not even a chance to add as an add on and pay extra, just no. But it is a delicious food.

18/06/2026: The food here was absolutely amazing and the waitress was more than accommodating asking if I wanted things on the side and if I wanted season on my chips , the coffee was honestly one of the best I’ve had and the full Irish was fresh and for 14.50 had everything you’d want on a full Irish , cannot reccomend enough

07/07/2026: We stopped at Luker’s for lunch on our way to Galway. The food and service were excellent. When we asked about the history of the restaurant (it was established in 1757), one of the owners took us for a tour of the premises which included the original bar. He shared stories about the early days (it was originally a small hotel) and showed us photos of some of the bands that have played there (The Dubliners!) It was a very special experience.

28/06/2026: Amazing, friendly staff. Food is tasty. Athmosphere is great also, there was live music and everyone is super friendly. Would reccomend to visit if youre driving by, also boat friendly, a few steps away!

15/06/2026: I just have to say me and my family come here regularly for food there’s a gentle man I’m unsure of his name but he is a member of the staff, the way he acts and talks it’s like your arriving home, he’s so full of joy and lightens the mood of the entire place when he’s present, he’s treat you like his best friend and family all in one and he deserves to applauded for his customer service skills. The food is also out of this world for a takeaway or if your dining in no matter what you get it’s all top notch best place there is in tullamore!
