13/09/2025: This restaurant is a real hidden gem! The focaccia was fantastic, and the meaty lasagna and the desserts were equally delicious. You could really taste the high quality of the ingredients used – it's clear that the owner cares deeply about maintaining a high standard. The staff and owner were also very friendly. We will certainly be back.

03/08/2025: Went in to use the bathroom here during the bray air festival as the public toilets had a 30 minute line. Just to get screamed at by both the Italian male and female owners at the top of their lungs in front of the whole busy cafe, I’m 7 months pregnant and he shouted at the top of his lungs at me “shame on you for using your pregnancy as an EXCUSE” over and over. Such a horrible attitude, left me shook leaving. Please don’t support this place with such a degrading attitude towards pregnant women. For the uneducated owner: 1. Pregnancy isn’t an ‘excuse’ to use the toilet when in need 2. ⁠You should never scream in the face of a pregnant woman it’s very stressful for her and baby to handle

27/08/2025: We came here for the early bird dinner, and it was excellent. My husband is still raving about the pannacotta, and the ribs, oysters, and white fish were fantasticly prepared and flavored. The service was great (I told our waiter I was lactose intolerant so I could figure out which dish to get, to which when he brought out our bread and butter, came back a few minutes later, quietly apologized, and gave our table some oil and vinegar as well). Would absolutely recommend!

10/07/2025: We had a lovely stay. The staff were great! We had dinner down at the bar (it was delicious!! I enjoyed a pub toastie and carrot & coconut soup) we enjoyed having a few drinks at the bar and meeting Alan. Alan was enjoyable to chat with. We really enjoyed our stay. Only recommendation would be fans available for warmer days. We are so use to air conditioning here in Florida…. A room without air conditioning is dreadful. Lucky for us Ireland evening weather is cooler…. So it wasn’t so bad at night but you guys have much longer summer evenings than we do here in Florida this time of year.

12/09/2025: Took two friends visiting from France who wanted a real pub experience. The atmosphere was great, the cap collection hilarious, the service efficient and friendly, and the food was DELICIOUS, and a great pint! Absolutely recommended

16/08/2025: We went on a team night out and the place and atmosphere of this place is class. It might look very small at the outside but very big on the inside.Their servers was very approachable and accommodating as well. Food was ok for me. I would say my expectations were a little bit not met. For a 30-40 euro steak, I would have expected that the steak is at least seasoned which was not. The sharing platter as well was a little bit small for me. I expected at least a couple of meats and more cheese on a meat and cheese board but as you can see on the picture that’s their sharing board and you can see on the menu how much that is. My teammates enjoyed their veggie board and they were delighted with the taste. Their desert was great as well. Overall still a good experience. Just get your wallets ready as food can be pricey.

22/08/2025: I just got charged €1 per tea bag so €6.50 for tea for 1. Asked for 2 extra as wanted strong tea. I wouldn’t have if I knew I was going to be charged €1 per tea bag including for the necessary one in the tea pot!

30/08/2025: Food was so good, I only noticed after I ate that I had burned the roof of my mouth. Nice and quiet place for breakfast!

18/08/2025: We stopped in for a quick snack. The wrap was delicious, the service friendly, and the ambiance pleasant. There's outdoor seating in the back.

13/06/2025: My husband Kevin and I celebrated our wedding reception at Medley, Dublin this May and we truly couldn’t have imagined a better place to host the best day of our lives. As two proud Dubs, we always knew we wanted a city-centre wedding. We chose Smock Alley for our ceremony, and after a short (and very scenic!) 10-minute stroll, with a few stops at some of Dublin’s iconic pubs of course, our guests arrived at Medley for the reception. From our first visit right through to the final dance, the team at Medley, especially our coordinator Chris, went above and beyond. This type-A bride sent hundreds of emails and had a million little questions, and not once did I feel like anything was too much. They made everything feel effortless, personal, and seamless. We were after a vibe that was laid-back but beautiful, and a space where all generations, could feel relaxed and spoiled. Medley delivered all that and more. The food was a standout — not your standard wedding fare, but something genuinely special and delicious. No soup or meat-and-two-veg here (unless you want it, in which case they’d still nail it). We would recommend Medley a thousand times over. Every time we walk through Dublin city centre now, we get to pass by the place where we had one of the happiest days of our lives, and that still gives us a little buzz. I have no doubt we’ll be back again soon as guests, raising a glass to someone else’s big day.

11/05/2025: Attended a wedding there last week. Very exciting day with great atmosphere and great service and very friendly staff. Food was second to none, would highly recommend

08/06/2025: Had the classic. Great home made sausage with just the right spices. Roll held together till the end. Onions and peppers were tender and fresh.

04/06/2025: Contained in the huge English Market SC ,this place stands out from all the other exceptional vendors. Just a small stall with usually only 3 workers, it can turn out food to die for. All sandwiches are make rite on the spot. You can customize or order any of the house specials. Grab a special, find a quiet spot, (not possible) and enjoy.

01/07/2025: We had an absolutely amazing dinner last night. We got the catch of the day and a couple other specials that they recommended. I highly recommend this place and it’s reasonably priced.

28/08/2025: Bit of a rip off why oh why is rice not included with the main dish such as a green curry? It is not an extra !!!!!! Every other country and most restaurant s in Ireland include this as a basic component of the meal. Good food terrible value for money . Expensive meals at good quality. Nice staff.

15/08/2025: Had a tasty lunch here today. Chicken Satay starter followed by a Chicken red curry. Finished off with a delicious Eton Mess. Superb. Nice surroundings and a lookout to the coast and the yatchs. Not too busy, food is great as is the service. No hard decisions about coming here again.
