07/02/2026: Highly recommend this spot, whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple looking for a cute date night or a couple of gal pals. It’s the kind of atmosphere where you can comfortably hold a conversation. The food is excellent, the oysters and pâte are a must. The service/staff are incredible: friendly, professional, know their stuff and never make you feel rushed. I traveled solo here and they graciously served me for hours as I hung out, ate and drank. Vibes are on point, 10/10 recommend!

22/02/2026: Organised a party for my daughter here. We originally dealt with Kevin Moes who was excellent and looked after our every needs. They organised food for the guests which was real quality too. On the day Mark was excellent 👌 made everything work like clockwork everyone left delighted 😀

15/02/2026: Delicious and incredibly accommodating (Sunday lunch at the restaurant for 4 adults, 3 babies). Roast, pork and fennel ragu, arancini was excellent. It’s hard to find a lunch spot that is actually really good and also allows us to comfortably bring small children.

Boris really made my experience at Mr fox something above standards. By the way, the blue fin tuna was one of the best I ever tried Thank you so much for everything

22/12/2025: Had 3 counter chairs (and at least two other tables free no reservation signs visible, but they could have been booked) and refused service for 1 person stating "they needed the counter tables to seat people while they wait". Not very welcoming at all! Only offered a table in an hour and 15 minutes but only after I asked the second time could I not take a counter seat.

19/01/2026: Very good coffee ☕ the pastries are also a treat, the Italians here are super friendly, just like the ones in Milan (hahahaha, it's an inside joke with them) haha. But very good service, friendly, exquisite coffee and pastries, and a super warm atmosphere in Bray, where you get used to having coffee around six in the afternoon. In Ireland, usually four or three in the afternoon, there aren't any cafes hahaha, so it's much appreciated 😊😊😁

26/11/2025: I regularly eat here with my partner. It’s really nice restaurant. Very friendly welcoming staff. Great menu and really nice freshly made dishes. I go here regularly and love returning. I always get tofu pad Thai or tofu yaki soba, highly recommend both.

28/12/2025: After reading the reviews we both got the "steak" beef koftas. To our disappointment, it tasted like cheap processed burger meat. It was edible and we finished it all since we were hungry, but definitely not worth the 23€. Nice service and staff, but I can't call the food tasty.

27/09/2025: My husband and I enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal at Cullens, previously Cong’s theatee v The menu offered many delicious items to choose from. The onion soup was absolutely delightful, perfect balance of other vegetables along with the onions, which were the highlight. My husband enjoyed every bite of the duck conft salad. For the entrée, I enjoyed a very rich and tasty shrimp and lobster risotto. Scott was wowed by the sole which was deboned at our table. The servers were very friendly and shared the history of this venue. !Chapeau! Hats off to the chef! And staff.

17/09/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Marianna (hopefully I spelled that correctly) was amazing. She was our waitress and she made the best drinks + great conversation. I had the pasta with clams and mussels- amazing. My wife had the chkn. Everything was great, excellent and we had a great time. Dessert and the Irish coffee was excellent as well. Highly recommended. We stayed at the lodge.

02/03/2026: AVOID at all costs. Ive legitimately been basically poisoned from this place twice. Sent to the ER once. I used to really like this place but on two separate occasions I’ve gotten food poisoning from this place. One of those times I had to go to the ER. My friends have also gotten food poisoning from here. My guess is there meat is not being properly stored or being deliberately saved beyond the point of safe consumption. Either way I would not risk eating here. Very disappointing and I hope they step it up and fix themselves.

17/02/2026: Excellent restaurant. Huge menu, something for everyone. Service was very good. I had the spaghetti al amatriciana and it was fantastic. I’m not an expert in Italian cuisine, but seems very authentic. It’s a good sign when they’re speaking Italian in the kitchen.
