01/02/2025: My favorite cafe in Dublin! It's lovely in all aspects. Not pretentious, not "posh", not artificial. Just amazing panino and cakes served by an Italian couple.

12/01/2025: The Best Meal I have ever had ! I recently dined at this incredible restaurant and had an unforgettable experience. Head chef Michael truly elevates every dish with his remarkable talent and attention to detail. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable, adding a personal touch to the evening. Owner Gina runs a wonderful establishment with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The ingredients were absolutely top-notch, and you can taste the quality in every bite. This place is definitely on the path to earning a Michelin star. Highly recommend!

11/01/2025: I booked Hugo’s for a work lunch with about 25 people. The whole team was incredibly helpful throughout the process. At the lunch itself, the group menu was excellent along with rent recommended wine. The team were so friendly and made it an amazing experience: I highly recommend Hugo’s

16/02/2025: Well, what can I say. This place has it all. Amazing friendly staff..the Manager so helpful..an awesome chilled atmosphere, the food was exceptional...and hats...lots of hats.WOW Came to Ireland for friends birthday and was advised by our host at Duffys in Ballybin to try the Snailbox and it didn't dissapoint. Had the Black pudding starter, which tasted yummy. We also tried the Burger which came with chips, Stir fry and Prawn Thai curry which came with a choice of potatoes.. we opted for the boiled potato's in tomato and onion with cheese.....all mighty portion and very very tasty. Paid 130 euros and that was with a couple of rounds of drinks.. Guinness of course. The hats had us mesmerised and the story behind them is such a sweet one..ask the Manager and he'll show you the very first one...take your own hat and you can swap it for a Snailbox one. If your in the area, please try this place.

24/12/2024: We were initially supposed to get married in 2020 but due to Covid and living overseas it didn’t happen until July 2024. All of the team at Medley were so supportive and reassuring during that time. We had our reception at Medley after our wedding ceremony at St Agnes’s Church. The venue itself is in a perfect location for a relaxed city wedding, great for getting photos and so convenient for guests. Andrew, Chris and Brian were great throughout the planning of the wedding and on the day itself. The communication was quick and easy, and nothing were too much trouble for them. The food and drink were great, and the staff were lovely and helpful at all times. We had quite a large wedding with approx. 135 guests. The sit-down meal may have felt slightly over capacity, but we were told that might be the case. We were supposed to have our speeches downstairs, but my partner decided to do it at the meal. However, some of our guests sat at the back couldn’t hear the PA system. Otherwise, everything else went really well and everyone had a wonderful day. The team at Medley made the day so pleasant and relaxed, they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day so special and we would highly recommend Medley for a wedding or special event. Thanks again to Andrew, Chris & Brian for such perfect day.

25/11/2024: We had our wedding reception here and we couldn't recommend it enough. We mainly worked with Thiago to get everything set up but the whole team were fantastic. Everything ran so smoothly and they couldn't do enough for us on the night. It made our day extra special. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it.

13/02/2025: Excellent food, they deserve their first Michelin star ⭐️ Excellent service, everyone is kind, smiling and helpful. All food served is professionally and thoroughly explained. The sore point is the restaurant room: too many people (a restaurant of this level should have fewer tables), but above all there are no sound-absorbing panels, so all the noise of the voices echoes in the room and it becomes impossible to talk to the person in front of you without starting to scream.

02/02/2025: We went to Mr Fox to celebrate my fiancé's birthday this year. We had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and wanted to try it out. I was a little disappointed with the waiting times as we were asked to come at 8 sharp over the email communications but we only got our tables 20 mins past the hour. However, my fiancé was happy to sit in a bar and enjoy the view, so overall can't complain a lot about this. Once we were at the table we were served the sourdough with the cep butter and Parmesan fondue and omg it was the star of the night! I had opted for a normal menu whereas my partner went for a vegetarian option. In the normal menu cod was my fav and venison was my least fav. My partner said in the vegetarian menu he loved the aqua Chile sauce the most. The desserts were grand and overall we had a great night. Not sure yet if we'll be back again!

17/01/2025: Correct setting but the scallops were drowning in butter or perhaps oil and above all were overcooked?! It's a shame because it's still very expensive and we expect delicacy, especially with this shell -

13/01/2025: Birthday night out. The restaurant and ambience are lovely but the food and service are lacking. After taking our orders for food and wine, we didn't see iir server again, it was as if the staff all left at 9.30 pr else they avoided our table because there was an hour gap between our starters and main course. The food was good but not up to it's price point by a long distance..it's nice pub food not fine dining as it is priced. Our waitress calculated and scoffed at our tip beside us, but the service and food were a huge disappointment on what was a special occasion, so we gave what we felt was a fair tip for that. I wouldn't recommend

22/11/2024: Really friendly and helpful staff, good tasty and reasonably priced food in a comfortable and well designed bistro restaurant in the Main Street of the town. We were made welcome and seated quickly on a freezing cold night in this warm and cosy restaurant. The food arrived quickly and was well cooked and there was super attention to ensuring it was gluten free for one our party.

15/01/2025: Lovely pub, very homely, had the roast dinner, very tasty. Bad area for parking but there is parking down the road at the back of the wicklow arms.

31/10/2024: Just dropped in as we passed thru Cahir. From our brief travels in Ireland, this was one of the few cafes we've visited that was similar to what one sees in Italy and that we're used to in Australia. Excellent

26/01/2025: Delicious, creative food served by a lovely and attentive staff - Wayne and Caoimhe. Excellent choice of wines. Upmarket venue but white table cloths would be a welcome. Best value is the early bird menu. Option of music in the marquee on Saturday evenings. Recommended.

31/01/2025: Very tasty, atmospheric and pleasant) I liked it) ordered a big burger meal . It was very juicy more than my head 🤣 delicious ! Only in the picture (advertising) it was that there would be potato sauce with this soap, but it wasn't there. The downside was when the boss watched Tik Tok at full volume and from the kitchen a massacre from Tik Tok came straight to the hall, the music shouted the music in the hall from the speakers! But then it was finally over, and I was able to enjoy the silence, peace, light music and food.
