19/03/2025: Visited with friends for brunch which was really lovely. Two of us had the french toast which was lovely, one had a full Irish and one had pancakes. It was a little tight on space for my friend who had a baby and stroller which I had specifically mentioned in the booking form, but other than that a really lovely experience. Staff are so friendly and warm and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Parking is not free but would recommend the elysian car park over city hall. We will be back soon!

24/12/2024: We were initially supposed to get married in 2020 but due to Covid and living overseas it didn’t happen until July 2024. All of the team at Medley were so supportive and reassuring during that time. We had our reception at Medley after our wedding ceremony at St Agnes’s Church. The venue itself is in a perfect location for a relaxed city wedding, great for getting photos and so convenient for guests. Andrew, Chris and Brian were great throughout the planning of the wedding and on the day itself. The communication was quick and easy, and nothing were too much trouble for them. The food and drink were great, and the staff were lovely and helpful at all times. We had quite a large wedding with approx. 135 guests. The sit-down meal may have felt slightly over capacity, but we were told that might be the case. We were supposed to have our speeches downstairs, but my partner decided to do it at the meal. However, some of our guests sat at the back couldn’t hear the PA system. Otherwise, everything else went really well and everyone had a wonderful day. The team at Medley made the day so pleasant and relaxed, they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day so special and we would highly recommend Medley for a wedding or special event. Thanks again to Andrew, Chris & Brian for such perfect day.

23/03/2025: Great food, spectacular service, all in all an experience…like food should be.

23/03/2025: The food was really excellent. However the location lacks ambiente and is way too noisy. Staff is very nice but not very helpful about the food expérience. Basically they were simply stating the same thing as listed in the Menu, no added value or insight. Two of our courses were served in the wrong order. Waiting times between dishes were also quite random and sometimes we got our food after others that arrived half an hour after us. The food is good but to make it worth the full price it would be good to the see the expérience extended to the whole establishment.

08/03/2025: I don’t remember when I’ve had as bad a coffee as yesterday morning in cafe. I cannot understand as before it was ok. After waiting a long 20 minutes we had to leave coffee on table … scone was fine but coffee undrinkable.

21/02/2025: We had brunch here on a Friday, and had the smashed avocado toast, rueben sandwich, and the breakfast bap. All of it was amazing.

20/03/2025: Bakerstone Café is absolutely delightful! The Eggs Benedict with spinach sandwich is scrumptious—flavorful and satisfying. The apple pie and cheesecake are both incredibly yummy and make for the perfect sweet treat. The staff is friendly and always serving with a smile, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, including the restrooms. It’s a lovely spot for a delicious meal and a pleasant experience all around!

28/02/2025: On way back from a funeral called for food..it was cold .bacon not fit to eat break your teeth.no cutlery by time I asked 3 differant servers food was cold and hard .didn't have manners or English.....won't be going back again...21 euro wasted...

24/03/2025: Beautiful venue, brilliant service and gluten free options. Food is mediocre, personally I would reduce the sizes vs invest in more sophistication to match the climate. Food is not bad and it’s honest but you expect to come and eat something exciting that you wouldn’t be able to recreate easily in your own kitchen.

14/03/2025: Great place for a quick bite. Savage sausage. We shared the Hog man and the Cork Boi and both sided with the latter because of the crispy onion and Ballymaloe Relish. Nom nom. But above the food, a homeless man in front of us in the queue asked for a sausage. The server said he would throw it in a roll for him to which his eyes lit up. The server then gave it to him his food free of charge. It's random acts of kindness that make a difference in the world and I wish all the best to O'Flynns and that gentleman. We'll be back.

04/03/2025: Fui a almorzar aquí. Fui por la caja de salchichas. Es de primera clase. Bien cocinado y abundante. Había poco o ningún tiempo de espera. El personal era genial también y ofreció buenos consejos. Definitivamente volveré aquí cuando esté en corcho de nuevo.
