01/05/2025: The food was delish! One of the top 3 meals during our week in Ireland. We would definitely eat here again:D We had the focaccia, the baby potatoes, roast carrots, & the trout for dinner. Great service, James was attentive and was a great conversationalist. We loved everything we ordered, so just had to try their sticky toffee pudding, again one of the top 3 desserts we had during our week in Ireland:D Can't wait to come back and eat here again on our next trip!
17/04/2025: Hace poco cumplí 30 años en el hotel Pembroke. No podía recomendarlo lo suficiente - el personal fue extremadamente servicial desde el principio, especialmente Alicia. En la noche, todo funcionó perfectamente - la comida, bebidas y el servicio eran todos fabulosos. ¡Ninguna pregunta era demasiado grande! El espacio también tiene una zona para un DJ, que realmente se sumó a la noche! Servicio 10/10 y un gran lugar. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

18/06/2025: I recently stayed at the River Court Hotel and had a really lovely experience. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. Most of all, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating,friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. A great central location and a warm welcome made it a memorable stay. Highly recommend!
17/06/2025: An absolute pleasure to stay, so welcoming and friendly. Location was perfect as one of our friends hurt her leg beforehand. Have to mention Phil, a great ambassador for the hotel. She was so nice and friendly. Lovely to meet her.

Just taken aback with the price of a sandwich Asked for sausage and egg brown bread sandwich. Charged €6.25 which is expensive in my eyes for a sandwich

15/07/2025: Our group of 6 had a terrific evening at Lanigan's Bar.
The Irish dishes we ordered (Cottage Pie, Beef Stew) were tasty.
The live band played high quality traditional Irish Music that made us feel like singing along. And the service was friendly.
Recommended!

04/07/2025: En un viaje reciente a Kilkenny, tuve la suerte de pasar por el bar Marble City para almorzar. He visitado Kilkenny en muchas ocasiones pero nunca había comido aquí antes. Kevin, que era agradable, conversador y todo un caballero, me sirvió una comida deliciosa. Esto hizo que mi experiencia fuera muy placentera y tengo toda la intención de volver a venir aquí para comer.
04/07/2025: Tuvimos una comida fabulosa aquí hoy en el bar Marble City, llegamos sin reserva y tuvimos la suerte de que nos sentaran de inmediato, Kevin, nuestro camarero, fue muy amable, servicial y paciente con 2 comensales quisquillosos, la comida era deliciosa y una experiencia encantadora en todos los sentidos, volveremos.

08/06/2025: Two bags of chips and two chicken tender portions, about €25, should be ashamed of the bags of chips handed out at full price and absolutely ICE cold not even lukewarm.
07/05/2025: Had the misfortune of eating here recently. Food very poor, chicken wrap with bacon cheese chips. Wrap was like paper, chicken was rubbery. Chips were ok. Price outrageous for the very poor quality food. Honestly it's very poor, I should have known by the previous reviews but I was hungry and it was late. Will not return.

11/06/2025: Horrible. Dirty room, pieces of pasta from a meal always present in the room. Dirty sheets and furniture. The toilet is disgusting, there's even a pot under the toilet drain. When it fills up, it leaks all over the bathroom. Avoid
28/05/2025: The rooms look nothing like the website.
€60 a night, no breakfast.
Smel of smoking Joint and damp.
There is no insulation between the rooms. had no hot water at all, Sink or shower . there is no kettle for coffee, or kitchen to put food in the fridge.
There was no heating in the place. No one at reception to complain to.
Doors are all operated by an app that has to be downloaded to your phone. There is no emergency contact if you have problems with the app.
The only good thing about the place is its location - its right in the centre of town.
Check-in at 16:00 not like writing in Google. I was lucky to get in earlier.
Would not recommend this place at all.

10/07/2024: Overall not satisfying experience. Food was dissapointing and bland. Definitely not recommended. Atmosphere was rude and unfriendly.
10/07/2024: Low-quality food for the price, unfriendly atmosphere, didn't feel very hygienic, disappointed with this place, would not recommend since there are so many places that are actually friendly and delicious to eat/drink in Kilkenny.

Tommy invitó a James detrás de la barra y le enseñó a servir un Guinness adecuado. Gracias a Tommy y John por hacer de nuestro viaje a través del charco un sueño real hecho realidad
