03/07/2025: Great experience lovely staff great pints

18/06/2025: New layout is fabulous, loads of spaces to gather with friends. Had lunch there, chef wasn't that friendly and food was mediocre. Wasn't impressed that a half portion was only €2 cheaper than a full portion. Would go back for drinks.

07/07/2025: Dined twice in the Pergola this weekend. Surroundings were lovely, service was really friendly and the food was great. As a bonus, they were very nice to our dog! Would recommend.

05/07/2025: Went there with a friend about a month ago. We started the evening with gorgeous cocktails then had the Vegan sharing board. I'm still drooling over the bang bang cauliflower. We asked about Vegan wine and they checked and brought us a choice of vegan labelled wine. The wine we chose was one of their most expensive but it was Delicious! I am taking one star away because they sadly don't have a vegan dessert. I mentioned this on a previous visit so am disappointed. Their kitchen staff are obviously talented enough to produce something Vegan friendly. We sat in the beautiful pergola section which is dog friendly. The staff were lovely, attentive and friendly. We went mid week when it wasn't very busy and staff were happy to let us sit and relax and no suggestion of trying to get us to eat and go as you do in some other establishments .

16/06/2025: Unique dining experience! Professional in every aspect. It shows that the owner puts all his wisdom and talent into every meal! Perfect wine pairing for the courses! I recommend this place with all my heart! 💖

29/05/2025: One of the best meals I've ever eaten in the world, let alone Ireland. Luis and his colleagues demonstrate a genuine love for food and simply good quality genuine ingredients, and will inspire the same love for all his guests. I cannot state how out of all the dining experiences in Ireland, this humble restaurant in Waterford is the one and only that you MUST try.

24/06/2025: Was at the Viking for a family get-together. We had a lovely meal in the bar. The atmosphere was great and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful!! A great experience was had by us all 🤗

31/05/2025: Best place in Waterford to have a drink! Great community and fantastic selection of rotating beers on tap. Amazing bartenders, Tom is the best in Waterford if not Ireland.
