The best restaurants in Sligo

18/04/2024: Refurbished and fresh looking hotel part. Small rooms and basic but clean bathrooms. Quite a nice pub. Nice reception area. Very good value for money. 20 min from Sligo. Beautiful beach next to the hotel. You will ask why 5 stars. Because of breakfast. Mind blowing ocean view from the restaurant where they serve brilliant full Irish breakfast, worth to travel there just for a breakfast. I will recommend that place for a quiet weekend.

21/02/2024: This brilliant classic Irish pub is a huge boost to Enniscrone. They also serve one of the best pints of Guinness I've ever had.

18/02/2024: Sunday 4th February Great bar, great pint, friendly punters, made feel welcome Highly recommend as the bar to visit when in Enniscrone.

30/03/2024: Small but perfectly formed selection of gluten free cakey stuff, alongside all the other options. Also was stopped in the street by a local when we were discussing options, and we're told to come here - which is a great sign!

07/03/2024: We stayed here on December 1st last. At booking we were quoted €120 for the room. On arrival we had to pay up front €150. On arrival in the room, there was no heating. It was 2° outside on the night. The lady in charge said she would put a heater in the room, which I think she did. We were attending a function downstairs and did not see any heater. There was no hot water in the morning for a shower. The manager was not available to talk to. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the bar staff and asked the manager to meet us. We were told by bar staff that we were the only ones to complain and the hotel was full that night. I wrote letter of complaint to the manager early Dec and to date I have not had any response. Not good enough for 150€ on a very cold night in December.

02/04/2024: Blend cafe is one of my go to cafes in sligo. The staff are lovely and very very good at their job. You are always greated with a smile. The coffee is outstanding. There is additional seating upstairs. It has a really nice selection of tasty pastries and the lunch menu is very good.

20/03/2024: Definitely a hidden gem in the town, this place has the greatest service to top off the most banging burrito I’ve ever had (honestly!). Always delivers and I leave with my stomach bursting and my mouth on fire everytime. Do yourself a favour and forget about Boojum, go here!

03/01/2024: The golf course is in great condition for the time of year, just a pity we could only play 7 holes as they rain started to come down really heavy but will be back later in the year for another round.

A good Irish breakfast in a comfortable space, served by very friendly and attentive staff with panoramic window views across a links golf course with a ridiculously beautiful West Irish lanscqpe as a back drop. As a non-golfer, even I could very much appreciate the view.

13/03/2024: We recently had my mum's 60th birthday here. I am not from the area, but the staff and owner were so helpful and friendly! Great location and the smoking area is fantastic! Perfect place for a gathering / party! Highly recommended!
