01/02/2025: I was at Flanagan,s on the lake today for lunch and on a date. I was very impressed with the service I received and the Beef burger was fantastic š and my date had a stake and it looked very good. We had a dessert šØ as well I had the cheese cake and it was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful

27/02/2025: Firstly the very warm welcome from Cliodhna was lovely, she gave us a seat straight away but it was quite near the door and we asked had she another table and without hesitation we were moved futher inside beside a lovely warm fire. The food was fabulous a starter of prawns and chicken wings beautifully cooked. We both
opted for the Venison steaked which we ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly.
Great pints of Guiness and a nice wine list.
Totally recommend this place to visit and thanks for the great hospitality.

21/02/2025: Spoke to Lavina on the phone to book a table , she was just super to speak to , and on the night we had ClĆonadh serve us another super person ,and the food was brilliant .....we will be back .

The Lakeside Hotel and Leisure Centre

23/02/2025: Supposed to be a 4 star hotel . People with disabilities especially wheelchair toilet access stay away. Sxtreamly poor . Could not give enough praise to staff and food service. This was 5 star.

09/10/2024: Never disappoints, food is always delicious, reflected in the number of diners, I discovered this gorgeous place about six years ago and have been going regularly since, the food is always amazing and the quirkiness of the dining room is beautiful!!

We enjoyed watching the rugby match with drinks and a lovely surprise the owner brought us out sandwiches (which you never see anymore!!!) Fab warm fire and nice locals.. Looking forward to our next visit š

02/03/2025: Iām pregnant and made the mistake to get food here without reading the reviews and now Iām scared I might get food poisoning. The food is old and clearly reheated. The chicken was like rubber. The chips were old. This is crazy since we ordered an hour after they opened which means they just reuse food from the previous days. Why canāt they just make the food fresh? People donāt mind waiting. This place needs to be shut down / change management.
27/02/2025: What a dump chips reheated and taste like fish pizza had a weird taste but the can of club orange was 100% even if it was club zero and not to be sold separate KEEP AWAY thankful I didnāt get any meat
