09/05/2025: Food OK. Got mussels, which seemed to be all juveniles! Tasted fine. But service terrible. Nice waitress but poor presentation and manager ordering staff around. Poor fare for the price 62euro for 2 main courses

27/04/2025: The Lakeside Hotel generously allowed us to base ourselves there for our Lap the Lough cycle and use the showers in the leisure center afterwards. What a gorgeous location! Outstanding staff. And the team meal afterwards was outstanding. Really happy with the whole experience. Many thanks from the South Tipp Cycling Club!

09/10/2024: Never disappoints, food is always delicious, reflected in the number of diners, I discovered this gorgeous place about six years ago and have been going regularly since, the food is always amazing and the quirkiness of the dining room is beautiful!!

26/01/2025: We had a lovely visit, our first and we will definitely be back.
We enjoyed watching the rugby match with drinks and a lovely surprise the owner brought us out sandwiches (which you never see anymore!!!) Fab warm fire and nice locals.. Looking forward to our next visit 👌

02/03/2025: I’m pregnant and made the mistake to get food here without reading the reviews and now I’m scared I might get food poisoning. The food is old and clearly reheated. The chicken was like rubber. The chips were old. This is crazy since we ordered an hour after they opened which means they just reuse food from the previous days. Why can’t they just make the food fresh? People don’t mind waiting. This place needs to be shut down / change management.
27/02/2025: What a dump chips reheated and taste like fish pizza had a weird taste but the can of club orange was 100% even if it was club zero and not to be sold separate KEEP AWAY thankful I didn’t get any meat
