The View at Clonmel Golf Club

14/07/2024: Be warned, the photos are altogether misleading. The actually restaurant was far closer to an old man’s pub. A rather outdated one. We asked for menus and were simply asked what we want instead since menus weren’t readily available. Asked what they did have and they basically gave us a blank stare before asking what we like. In other words we just had a full Irish breakfast. Delicious breakfast but not at all the pleasing dining experience I could only assume from the photos posted. The drink attendant didn’t know how to make a mocha.

Nduna Lounge

Waterford
11/03/2025: Myself and my partner popped in here yesterday and ordered 2 oat flat whites and asked to get them in takeaway cups-the guy proceeded to make them..and charged €8.80 for them both.. At this point my partner was gone over to sit down while reading some magazines.. One of the coffees was ready 1st so I decided to drop it over to my partner..at this point a female member of staff rudely interrupted and informed us we were not alllowed to drink our coffees in takeaway cups on the premises..and on seeing my partners face of shock she said she,d make an exception this once and we could sit down.. I’ve travelled all over the world and always order the exact same coffee in a takeaway cup as I prefer my coffee this way.it has never been a problem any where else. We drank our coffees feeling very unwelcome and decided against staying for any longer we decided to ask the young guy at the counter who served us a little bit more about this strange policy as we honestly could make head nor tail of it.we asked him was there a price difference between the take away and a sit in coffee and he confirmed there wasn’t he didn’t know what the reason for this was just that it’s company policy.i kindly requested maybe putting up some signs in regards this policy to avoid other people getting embarrassed and left feeling like we did. As we existed to leave the previously mentioned female member of staff came out of the back and started waving and smiling..it was very strange we then went out the door and took the corner to go around the building while looking back in she was still waving her hands all over the place looking at us in the only way I can describe it was jeering at us..neither of us have ever experienced such bad customer service anywhere and will never be back for more of this. Great coffee pity about the customer service.

T Junction

29/06/2025: The T Junction Restaurant is located within the Waterford Shopping Centre in Lisduggan, Waterford. There is ample free parking on site, and several shops to browse within the Centre itself. The T junction is a large spacious premises, and easily usable by buggies, wheelchairs or mobility scooters. The interior is well equipped with plenty of chairs and tables, and local photography adorns the walls (these are for sale) The service here is fantastically efficient. They offer a buffet style system, where you take a tray, and order your food where it is plated up there and then from the hot counter, and passed over to pay. This is hugely successful here, as it allows a fast turnaround of customers, its quick and efficient, and the entire team behind the counter, work like a well oiled machine. The food here is always lovely. Well cooked and piping hot. I have noticed that if I get white toast with breakfast, it tends to bloat me, but that probably is just me, and by no means a complaint, as you can choose between white or brown. There is always a great selection available from breakfasts to lunch, with a great variety, yet no compromise in quality. The bonus of the buffet style system is that you can choose exactly how much or how little you want on your plate, and you pay accordingly, which means, great value, and getting exactly what you want. Great for kids who may be picky eaters too, aa you can order a few small picky bits to keep the kids happy. There are no toilets within the cafe, but there are of course some just around the corner in the Shopping centre,
