The best restaurants in Waterford

25/07/2025: This is review on the takeaway service in Cafe Goa. Firstly the food is lovely, but although you are told it is busy, and takeaways can be up to an hr for delivery, we live literally 5 mins drive from restaurant but were having a drink so we couldn't collect. 2hrs for delivery and food stone cold when it arrived. The price is expensive but if the food is good you can accept that, however , what I can't accept is cold food for the expensive cost. So unfortunately I will not be eating or ordering from Cafe Goa again. Martin Roche. 👎

15/06/2025: Food was excellent and the service was brilliant. Lovely place and staff so attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant

22/06/2024: 100 percent authentic Italian pizza and pasta ever ate 🍝🍕best place in Waterford @pheonix food market and reasonably priced

31/05/2024: Can't rate the food I got sent here via Google maps. Seemed impressed showed inside and outside of a restaurant on photos. Arrived at said address nothing. Needs to update Google page. If u haven't a restaurant please don't pretend u do. Apparently it's A converted horsebox.

21/09/2026: The security guard was so rude and was so nasty to my friend would not recommend

22/03/2025: Little disappointed in the chicken dish , 4 bits of chicken in a bowl of watery sauce., Service is great very friendly....

05/03/2025: We ordered from Naas in February for collection and they forgot an item (only prawn crackers but still really wanted them for with our meal). We drove 15 mins down 15 mins home to get them and it was sh*t but they were very apologetics and said they would add 20 euro to our account as we order regular enough every other week. Called today less than 2 weeks later and when I said about the credit they said no they would just give us free prawn crackers now. I said it wasn’t the prawn crackers it was the 30 mins drive down and back and my ruined meal the previous time. I should have got them to replace the whole meal at the time but was trying to be nice about it. Will not be ordering again very poor customer service. They have lost a regular customer.

31/03/2024: Got the chance to have a few pints there on its final night in business. It will be missed.

08/02/2024: Great little place, nice pint, small room, open fire, friendly chat with locals.

25/09/2024: Great Gino's special pizza as always.

20/07/2024: The pizza is top quality delicious goodness combined with the most friendly staff I've ever encountered makes a visit to this hidden gem a must. After dinner I got talking about the sport of Irish Hurling with the chef. I've never seen a live match so the chef gets a hurling paddle from his car to show me the critical tool of the game and gives me a hurling ball to take back home. I'm overcome with joy from experiencing the best of human nature. Please pay this wonderful establishment a visit. You'll be glad you did.

12/12/2023: Excellent staff and very friendly atmosphere

12/12/2023: An amazing bar on the quay in Waterford Live music Pool table Friendly service Great pints

07/11/2025: Best pizza in Waterford!!! We tried this place a few months back and since then it's our regular Friday Pizza night. Amazing customer service and the owner is a gentleman!! We highly recommend it!!

26/08/2025: Nice and tasty gluten free pizza.

08/12/2025: Ordered via the app and accidentally asked for it to be delivered. Turned up in plenty of time time to sort it out, delivery driver wasn't tasked and that was all good. Came to paying and the five euro for delivery was still added. I said I wasn't paying it, but the guy wasn't having it at all. Only backed down when I said I wasn't taking the food. He wasn't happy. I was only getting food worth €12.50 €5.00 on top of that is a 40% mark up. Won't be back. Food wasn't even that good.

25/07/2025: Not the same as it was years ago.
