20/10/2024: Was in the coffee shop today and the place was so untidy, the two girls behind the counter were ran off their feet and the queue was out the door, they obviously didn’t have a second to clear tables which people had been finished at. We love coming to NYCD so it’s unfortunate that the place looked so unorganised

29/08/2024: I’m a regular customer and I love nycd I always come in and recently the new staff that I have been severed by really have a bad attitude especially the girl with blonde hair and glasses I’m always nice and thank her cause I bet it’s stressful I work in a restaurant I get it but it’s every-time I come in she always has an attitude like she hates working there and there’s no like customer service and it’s not just me either it’s people being served ahead of me and you can see their faces of like okay can you atleast try to like your job really disappointing like I have always been a fan of this place is so lovely here but when I see her I genuinely hate being served by her

26/10/2024: The pizza sauce tastes like tomato puree. Had to put salt on the pizza to eat it. Great base, skimpy toppings.

04/10/2024: Best pizza in town, John and the team made such an effort to include a vegan option that tastes 10/10. Staff are so lovely too! All my friends love their food. Can’t recommend enough 🙏

13/10/2024: A mocha on a take away cup when I’m sitting in the cafe ? I asked and he told me all mochas go in a take away cup! We have sat in 4 times in just this years and never received a mocha in a coffee cup while sitting down !!! Wdaf !!! Cannot taste the Belgian chocolate like I did yday or any other day I sat in or took away! Got a mocha yday and it tasted way better and more chocolate flavour like I have received every other time in here! The guy clearly wasn’t happy or confused my partner went up to complain! Useless custowmrs service! Very slow at cleaning up after other customers! We had to clear our own table!

19/09/2024: We got Party bucket. Best deal for family. Chicken was crispy and juicy. Fries hot and delicious. Very friendly atmosphere. Nice and clean place

10/10/2024: The food has consistently been really good. But I find the service not the best also the queue and crowd is not for me. The two occasions I've been here were Sundays maybe that accounts for the crowd but I had a booking for 1pm got there early and was standing on the queue waiting for about 15mins and it didn't look like they were going by reservation just kind of waiting till a table is empty and then you were sat. The server missed an item in my order, when bringing the Cutlery for my date and I she just banged all 2 pair on one side and walked away.

27/05/2024: Just got pizza and one of the toppings were missing which is chicken popcorn! Not very happy and wouldn’t order again. I’d also like to mention they charged me the recycle deposit for the coke I got but when it turned up it didn’t have the symbol so can’t return it.

07/11/2024: The very best Chicken bar none. I'm not a chips person but my friends like them. So tasty the chicken puts KFC to shame.

29/10/2024: Afternoon tea with my two 20yo daughter and my lovely wife. Great hot chocolate with marshmallow. Nice place.

16/09/2024: For food, service, value for money comfort you cannot find a better place. The staff are second to none so friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and super value for money. Family friendly and always greeted with a smile.

27/09/2024: A Chinese restaurant situated at bottom end of Waterford, warm ambient, friendly atmosphere for om moment you enter front door we are welcomed and shown to our seats staff were very attentive to our needs during entire time me and my guest remained in the restaurant, food I cannot fault or find any flaw with what was served, attention to detail right down to the fortune cookie, as for affordability I give ***** I've added pics for added information I've had a fantastic meal and I highly recommended anyone who has never been to try it and if your looking for somewhere for a romantic meal or a quite meal with friends i totally recommend you place Peking house in the glen on your list of places to visit you won't be disappointed and you won't leave hungry.
