16/05/2025: Staying here currently. It's fair value for money. I used the pool, it's 20M. I used the jacuzzi at 2 pm it was quite, nice jets, water temp good. Had lunch, spent €30.00 on 8 ounce steak, onions and creamed potatoes,nicely cooked. No other veg supplied nor offers. Desert a further €7.50 or €8.00 tasty. Lunch & desert expensive for service provided.

16/04/2025: For value it is an ideal place to stay if your low budgeting to get leisure bar food and location. all the staff are friendly and the gym is quite with several machines treacys would be my first port to call for a night out in Watford as it is so central 🙌🙌

20/03/2025: First time visiting this takeaway Food was absolutely disgusting cheese roll where over cooked just soaked in grease satay sauce was the most sweet thing ever meant to be peanut style. The woman on desk was the most rude person I've ever seen customer rang looking for her delivery as she was waiting 2 hours and her reply do I know where driver is. Absolutely shocking customer service avoid at all costs horrible place

29/12/2024: Visited the Craftsman on Saturday (14th December 2024) I was disappointed by the amount of Vaping taking place inside Member of band playing vaping, appropriately 11 people in pub doing high degree of vaping, there was visible high level haze in the pub at times … it reminded me of the days when smoking was allowed in pubs I did ask the management about vaping policy in the Craftsman, but was disappointed with the fact they do not have any… not like other pubs in the area, who treat it the same a smoking Overall a ok Pub … but let down on vaping policy, personally will now be going to other pub in the area, who look after the majority of the customers and not just those who vape

27/12/2024: Quaint but cosy little pub, my visit today was for a less joyful occasion however the staff were very accommodating, the food was really tasty and the drinks were very refreshing. I can recommend this location should it cross the path of anyone passing through the area.

11/04/2025: Italian breast in a bun is fresh and tasty. Tried it today and was very happy with it!

05/04/2025: Fantastic chicken, unfortunately contains dairy so I limit my intake. But when did ye stop opening late on weekends?!

31/05/2025: Just want to say I was in supermacs with my mother yesterday at lunch time and there was a young boy in there I forgot his name but he was so nice a young girl who was in a wheelchair and he came down and asked if she needed anything and he was just so lovely to the people

05/05/2025: Coffee is ok. Slow moving which sort of defeats the purpose of drive thru. Staff need to be more careful of mould on food that they are serving.

14/04/2025: Went their to watch Rory Mcilroy win the masters, they switched off the tv's during the playoff!! They advertised they where showing the masters only to switch it off at the crucial moment

17/05/2025: Came here as I've been admiring it for a while. I decided to have some lunch. Menu had extensive options and the staff were really nice and friendly. The place itself is quite small and personal, and the decor is lovely 😍 such a lovely serving and food was immense , full of flavour 😋

29/01/2025: i came here today to get a coffe / and there was que in front so i decided to use the toilet before and when i was passing over the counter receptionist name Jay shouted across the cafe at me toilet only for coustumer use only. that was the rudest thing i heard in my life other customers also expressed the same shock as me. how can someone put up with such a rude behaviour.

23/04/2025: I don't like the new area they've done up. They've taken up a load of space with two table games which I was told you must book online to play. They look like they were very expensive, and I have never seen anyone play them! Bring back the picnic benches or something similar. Those high chairs aren't comfortable to sit at for long periods of time while waiting on a game of pool. What goose thought of putting mainly high chairs in a pool and darts area.

22/03/2025: Yesterday we vent to play darts, omg it was shocking how bad was it. 40e for one hour for three of us, and we spent most of the time correcting scores then playing. Very bad system, doesn't worth any money.. It's better to go in any other bar to play, you doesn't need to pay anything.

18/04/2025: I bought potatoes, 5 euros a portion, the potatoes were very tasteless, bitter, they don't change the oil, it's impossible to eat, I threw it all out, I won't buy there anymore

20/02/2025: Extremely poor experience over all. I ordered two portions of salt and chillie ribs for collection on 19/02/25 at around 17:30. I got home and started eating the food an hour later . I noticed that one of the ribs look different to the others and had a very bad rotting smell, rubbery texture and a white sticky substance in the middle of this particular piece. I had already consumed some of the ribs before noticing. I called the restaurant straight away to let them know and the receptionist told me that the chef would call me back that evening. I got no call from the chef all evening. I had to call them back the next day and the receptionist said that they got busy. She went to speak to the chef and the chef said that all they could do was give me another portion of ribs because nobody else complained about the ribs that day . I tried to explain to her that it wasn’t a very good solution because I won’t be eating there anymore. Due to them selling expired food. Not only did the chef never call me back, he never offered an apology or offer me a refund. I have attached a picture below.

14/11/2024: Ordered food last night, nothing was fresh, onions and carrots tasted spoiled, chicken was tough. My brother tasted some and now has food poisoning all day. Making some bad food for quick money, wouldn’t recommend the place, am completely put off Chinese takeaway

25/05/2025: Very disappointing, gone down hill over the last year. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Food was inedible, had to send eggs back as they weren’t cooked (poached eggs were raw -not hot and egg white was transparent). No apologies just advised to order poached eggs as ‘not soft’ next time. No ice for iced coffee either?

30/05/2025: Robbery .... overpriced, coffee is alright but not worth the price

21/03/2025: Came in on 21/03/25 with friends, called for an ice tea with no ice. The lady working gave me a look and said “well I will have to fill the rest with water then” I didn’t know but agreed, my friend ordered a dragon fruit drink also with no ice, we saw her adding about 2 inches of the flavour in the cup and the rest with water, we were near the end and it was packed, and the lady’s working never called us for our drinks and left them on the counter. We got our drinks and they were to say the least horrible. Mine tasted like a tea bag left in water for too long with no peach flavour and my friends said “tasted like watered down dilute. And my other friends who got a lavender frappe, said hers was held full and tasted like milk and half cream, overall did not like the looks and the snickering from the lady’s could do a better job

28/05/2025: Tried this place for my first ever spice bag. €19, enough food for two, no red or green peppers, very little onion and red chilli. Fried rice was ok. The chicken was tough and overcooked. More salt than spice. Neither of us could finish it. I'll give this place a miss in the future, and probably spice bags as well.

15/04/2025: Horrible food poisoning from the Chicken Chow Mein. The food was prepared within 5 minutes, so I'm assuming it's premade and stored for days on end. I will never go back, vomiting all night and stuck on the toilet for 2 days. It's such a pity because I used to be a regular.
