The best restaurants in Waterford

08/03/2025: After searching for ages to find somewhere suitable for a family of 5 to look at football and have dinner we got lucky... Broadstreet was excellent. We did have a bit of a wait for our food but the fact that the staff were so good to put the Man Utd match on and friendly and apologetic for the delay really made the difference. The food was outstanding and the quality was excellent worth waiting for We had a lovely chat with Jason who looked after us so well and really offered great service. We returned the next day and there was no wait and the food was as good if not better... the pub is suitable for families and has a good kids menu. The toilets are a good few floors up but there is a lift if needed.. We were delighted to find Broadstreet and would highly recommend it. Reasonable prices for excellent quality with great staff. 😀

18/02/2025: The Indian speciality restaurant is simple but the food seems very homemade. On Sundays it is an open buffet, which makes it an interesting restaurant in the face of so much gastronomic competition. Simple but good.

14/02/2025: We did order on 19:22 and we received the food at home at 21:30 after two phone calls ,more than two hours .Two hours I can deliver to Dublin address !

26/01/2025: We have just received a take away from Peppers. It is our first meal from this restaurant. It was excellent. We certainly will be eating from there again.

11/01/2025: I passed by Waterford on my way to Cork and visited this restaurant. It was Christmas Eve and they were full but they kindly let me get a take away. The food was so delicious. The service was also very good and the place had a lovely atmosphere.

15/03/2025: Ordered for the first time. They took over an hour to deliver, and we got the wrong food on a VERY small order. Won't be going back :)

17/02/2025: Cinema was freezing cold I was glad I wore my hat wool coat and scarf and had to keep them all on throughout the movie and wrap my hands up in the scarf! The seats and ground beside me were uncleaned also The movie started at 4:50 almost when it was due to start at 4:30 and they forgot to switch off the lights for the first 10 minutes then when it was over they didn’t turn on the lights while I was leaving I missed the last step on the stairs and fell, not a great experience won’t be back.

25/11/2024: We had an amazing time at the 90’s Video Rental Store escape room! The staff were fantastic – so friendly and helpful. The game itself was brilliantly put together with a really creative and nostalgic concept. It was challenging but so much fun, and perfect for a larger group – the more sets of eyes, the better! If you’re looking for an hour of excitement and teamwork, this is it. Highly recommend!

20/11/2024: Had a great time solving puzzles in the 90's video rental store guided by our host Mark, which was very funny and helpful when we were stuck on certain puzzles. Nevertheless, we made it out on time! Definitely recommend!

02/01/2025: I love coney island but lately the toppings are super scarce just now I rang to complain my pizza was to have 3 toppings so i chose ham x2 and pineapple all I can taste is sauce and cheese, very disappointed, person answered said she would have a word hes been doing the pizzas the last 20 years and said put in the comments everytime you order

02/03/2025: Came here for my birthday,turned out very disappointed. Got seated quickly got our drinks and food served out,however all down hill from there. No cutlery on the table made to wait nearly 5 minutes for that. Lasagna turned out cold. Breast of chicken was bland and swimming in mushroom sauce. That aside we said we would try a desert. Left to wait 45 min for a desert menu and after another 45 minutes on top of that still no server came to us.just got up paid our bill and left the premises. Will not be back.

28/01/2025: I recently visited Brooklyn Restaurant Ardkeen and was thoroughly impressed by the lovely atmosphere and the extensive menu, especially the huge variety of gluten-free options. The gluten-free vegetarian pizza and gluten-free bruschetta were particularly standout dishes, bursting with flavour and freshness. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming ambience, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The decor is modern yet cosy, which adds to the overall dining experience. While the staff was very friendly and attentive, they did seem quite busy, which led to a bit of a messy environment at times. However, their friendliness and willingness to accommodate dietary needs were much appreciated. Despite the minor issue with the busy staff, the overall experience was delightful, and I would definitely recommend Brooklyn Restaurant Ardkeen to anyone looking for delicious gluten-free options in a charming setting. Highly recommended!!

29/12/2024: Visited the Craftsman on Saturday (14th December 2024) I was disappointed by the amount of Vaping taking place inside Member of band playing vaping, appropriately 11 people in pub doing high degree of vaping, there was visible high level haze in the pub at times … it reminded me of the days when smoking was allowed in pubs I did ask the management about vaping policy in the Craftsman, but was disappointed with the fact they do not have any… not like other pubs in the area, who treat it the same a smoking Overall a ok Pub … but let down on vaping policy, personally will now be going to other pub in the area, who look after the majority of the customers and not just those who vape

27/12/2024: Quaint but cosy little pub, my visit today was for a less joyful occasion however the staff were very accommodating, the food was really tasty and the drinks were very refreshing. I can recommend this location should it cross the path of anyone passing through the area.

12/02/2025: Had the worse chicken wrap here. It's like 50% of mayonnaise, 35% chicken and 15% vegetable.... the chicken wasn't well chopped. The were chopped in big sizes.

22/03/2025: Went in to play the automated darts system. 40 euro for an hour for 3 of us and we spent most of the hour correcting the score. It's a terrible system and the price is outrageous. We went up the road and played darts for free in the mansion

22/03/2025: Yesterday we vent to play darts, omg it was shocking how bad was it. 40e for one hour for three of us, and we spent most of the time correcting scores then playing. Very bad system, doesn't worth any money.. It's better to go in any other bar to play, you doesn't need to pay anything.
