17/09/2025: The room was not well placed to get to it, you took a lift to the 1st floor then walk down a corridor with many twists to the far end of the hotel then up a 6ft wheelchair lift then along another corridor to the very back of the hotel then up 2 floors in another lift then down the last corridor to the room in total over 200 paces to the back corner of the hotel which covers a whole city block Had some communication issues with some staff, on the 1st night we had a meal in the restaurant they had to be reminded about our drinks order which didn't arrive till after we had finished the starter, which they still got wrong bringing a full Coke instead of a diet Coke. When we ordered the dinner there were issues as my wife doesn't like garlic, we enquired if the chicken supreme had garlic and were told it did so she ordered the fish and chips. When her meal came it was a half chicken on a bed of mash, with some veg. The waitress stated she had got the chef not to put the supreme sauce on it so it arrived dry. My wife took it as she was hungry, but wasn't happy. Then the waitress overcharged us adding everything up individually instead of applying the 2-course meal deal, I tried to tell her but she didn't listen or understand. I couldn't be bothered to dispute it anymore for a few euros. Two nights later in the Timbertoes bar, one of the barmen got the order wrong again but it was corrected by another barman. My wife didn't feel the staff were that friendly, but they worn't rude.

15/09/2025: I stayed at treacys for a recent business trip and was truly disappointed. The hotel as a whole is very out dated and really could do with a face lift. The rooms were very tired with cracked tiles and countertop in the bathroom. I had to slam my room door shut to actually close it, it's the first time in a long time I havent felt entirely safe in my hotel room. I was scheduled to stay for 2 nights but decided the 5 hour drive home after a days work was a better option than spending another night here. Upon arrival too I found the staff to be a little ignorant. They were busy with something on the computer which is completely fine but not even a "I'll be with you in 2 seconds" or any other sort of acknowledgement while I was stood at reception. Once I was being looked after the staff were pleasant enough. TL:DR Hotel is very old fashioned, staff are a little ignorant and I generally felt rather unsafe here.

04/08/2025: As an Indian customer, my recent dining experience in Waterford presented some areas for improvement. While the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, the service fell short of expectations. Specifically, we were not promptly offered water upon seating, and the waiter took an extended period to take our order, without exhibiting a welcoming demeanor. Additionally, the table setting was incomplete, and our request for cold beverages was delayed. The incorrect curry was served, though we acknowledge our oversight in not identifying it sooner. The billing process was also slow, although the staff member at the counter was accommodating and addressed our concerns, resulting in a €3 reduction. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place to an Indian as they would focus on people with great status for tips. They would just make a fool out of an Indian with the hilarious prices. The food was great but the service was terrible.

11/05/2025: We did a cocktail class for a hen party and it was brilliant. The two lads who ran the class were good craic and the cocktails were Lovely! Would definitely recommend, we had the whole place to ourselves so was great!

17/03/2025: We were three young girls on the eve of st patricks, trying to get in. Bouncer started screaming saying no one is coming in. I asked if we would be able to get in if we waited till people left But was told that no one is getting in the whole night. About twenty people left like 2 min later. It was still around 10.30 and it was obviously not going to end soon so slightly confused as to why all the nastiness

12/09/2025: WORST MCDONALDS IN THE COUNTRY!! Every time I order here there is always issue, incompetent staff and whoever was working with on September 11th 2025 past 10:30pm has GOT to be spoken to as there was multiple missing items from my order, when I tried to contact the store as per usual, no response, staff needs to be looked into here as they clearly have no clue how to make an order.

25/08/2025: Called in yesterday with the kids. Menu has changed no non fake meat vegi burger no Mac and cheese no mushrooms any more. It's a shame won't be going back and waiting 40 mins for a bowl of chips. The kitchen was very slow to cook for people sitting in but the delivery orders were ready for the driver. Not good at all.

31/05/2025: Just want to say I was in supermacs with my mother yesterday at lunch time and there was a young boy in there I forgot his name but he was so nice a young girl who was in a wheelchair and he came down and asked if she needed anything and he was just so lovely to the people

23/04/2025: I don't like the new area they've done up. They've taken up a load of space with two table games which I was told you must book online to play. They look like they were very expensive, and I have never seen anyone play them! Bring back the picnic benches or something similar. Those high chairs aren't comfortable to sit at for long periods of time while waiting on a game of pool. What goose thought of putting mainly high chairs in a pool and darts area.
