27/02/2026: Second time visiting and it's my last, got chicken balls and curry sauce, the sauce was like water and had no flavour at all, measly portion's, overpriced for the type of food they serve

07/02/2026: Indeed, browsing the menu, the prices seem high, but the final bill wasn't. The food was good and plentiful. The place was well-decorated. The staff was very kind and friendly and gave us excellent advice. It turned out to be a lovely evening. See you next time.

18/07/2025: A cocktail bar like you'd dream of. Nice, quiet ambiance, pleasant music, polite bartenders. The bar is a bit hidden, it was quiet, and it definitely deserves more visitors. Fair prices, good service, and first-class signature cocktails.

06/04/2026: I’ve been to this restaurant more than 7 times and always enjoyed it, but unfortunately my last two visits were disappointing. Both times the curries were completely tasteless. We ordered chicken chilli masala and lamb karahi, but there was almost no difference in flavour between them. When you order two different dishes, you expect different tastes, not something that feels like the same pre-mixed curry. The naan bread was good, no complaints there. But the curries definitely need improvement. We also ordered the starter chicken chaat with puri. To be honest, I know what puri should be — it should be made from fresh dough. Instead, it seemed like a fried tortilla wrap being served as puri, which isn’t really correct. That said, the staff are very good and friendly, no issues there at all. Just hoping the restaurant improves the food quality and flavour because it used to be much better.

31/03/2026: Wonderful Indian cuisine, beautifully presented and cooked. Friendly and helpful staff who take pride in their work, spacious and comfortable surroundings and a good menu. The only reason for my four stars for Atmosphere is the mens toilet was grotty and could badly do with an overhaul and a good scrub up.

06/07/2025: Cud do with bigger kebabs, better mix of veg, cook the meat more (almost crispy) & less sauce. Reasonably tasty tho😄

07/03/2026: Came in to order on a not busy afternoon, the place literally only myself and a couple were having meals. It took them almost 30 minutes to get the food ready while I could see the staff were standing there, talking and joking. Even though, the food was really nice but the waiting time is unacceptable.

21/10/2025: Very friendly and welcoming staff! We had hot chocolate and wonderful brownies! Highly recommended!

20/10/2025: Staff went out of their way to accommodate me with my toddler. They moved furniture around, gave us a window seat to keep him entertained, brought out colouring pages and gave him a free chocolate treat. My only criticism of Carter's is the paper cups and plates but I will be returning again as it is definitely a family friendly cafe. Nice coffee also.

22/02/2026: I’ve been here a few times and it’s just not up to par with other joints under the same brand of supermacs I got a quarter pounder and my gf got chicken burger and she got send the grilled version and no sauces whatsoever after a 15 minute wait which is extremely slow and when we sent back the burger it’s been 20 minutes as I sit here now and no sign of it manager walked off it’s not a great experience cork road is the place to go or anywhere else unfortunately as I usually like supermacs

23/12/2025: Asked for a caramel iced frappe and they gave me an iced latte , I then kindly went up and told them they got my order wrong and a rude worker with Two braids in red/brown hair snapped in and wouldn’t even let me finish my sentence. Very rude staff and also left the kitchen unattended for several minutes at a time to take unnecessary breaks.

21/12/2025: Yesterday, my family and I went there, and it was a very bad experience. It was my first time experiencing something like this in Ireland. My son, who is 9 years old, was just roaming around the counter. There was no staff there at that time, and we were sitting nearby. Suddenly, a staff member came from inside and approached our table. She very aggressively accused my son of stealing something from the counter. We were shocked by her behaviour, as she blamed him without even checking the CCTV cameras. When we asked her to double-check the cameras, she later realised her mistake and apologised. This is the most ridiculous behaviour I have ever experienced at Starbucks.

28/10/2025: Usually love Hook & Ladder, but last visit wasn't the best experience. We couldnt get out of there quickly enough literally tormented by the same looped 4 traks of 'musak' and at way too loud a volume for comfort. We couldn't believe none of the staff seemed to be aware that the tracks were replaying, I think we heard them almost a dozen times. The other unbelievably loud noise compounded the first. Five or six late teen to early twenties waitor/waitresses were making a right racket having a congress at the counter, blissfully unaware of the volume they were at. Very nice, each one, but we genuinely felt agitated and stressed by the time we got out of there. Not a visit we'd ever like to repeat.

18/10/2025: One of my favourite spots for brunch in Waterford. We recently hosted a baby shower here and the service was lovely. We were accommodated nicely and also the food was great. Highly recommend for a cozy and relaxing vibe .

02/12/2025: Service used to bet a lot better , new group of staff alot slower at serving always a que a mile long in the morning and seem to be making one coffee at a time
