01/09/2025: Best pizza in waterford , lovely fresh chips also

30/08/2025: Just had a pizza it just melts in your mouth, it was fantastic. Will definitely be back for more

24/08/2025: Popped in for breakfast. Mini breakfast was grand although a euro or two more expensive then other places. Staff are nice.

20/08/2025: I have to say this was my favorite little spot I spent 2 days in Waterford and this little gem was right across the way from me I'm coliac and get left out from their amazing menu I can't tell you how rare it is for me to enter an establishment and dine like everyone else in the place thank you so much the food was amazing the atmosphere was class and the staff were too notch helpful not only accommodating to 2 moody pre teens but 3 tired adults even helped us with bus time tables I highly and whole heartedly recommend this place and can not wait to make a return for some delisous food.

12/11/2025: Stayed for a few days last week. Lovely stay. On arrival the receptionist was polite warm and courteous My room was small, single room, double (super comfortable) bed over looking river with really lovely bathroom. Breakfast was wholesome and the staff were extremely nice and welcoming each morning. The one down fall to this hotel is the dreadful Timble toes bar/ Restaurant. I attempted to eat her on my arrival night( my first and only time). Food arrived cold on a hot plate. when i complained about it , i was asked by a lady in a wine jacket would i like something different. i declined as i just wanted what i ordered. She stated No problem. She brought me back the same dinner reheated about 5 mins later, the piece of meat that i had cut was still in the same spot on plate. I just said thanks a proceeded to eat. She arrived back at my table 2 min later and in a very sarcastic tone asked " is that all right for you know".

11/11/2025: It's a lovely hotel. Great service, wonderful staff, great place for country music lovers, check when bands are there, can be difficult to book a room at certain times. Parking is a problem. There is no parking in the hotel. Plenty of public car park spaces across a very busy street and it's not gree

29/10/2025: Very nice and bright bar. The bartender we had Jamie was very nice and friendly and great to chat to. He does a great job and he’s a great bartender I’d highly recommend trying this bar out!

20/10/2025: Staff went out of their way to accommodate me with my toddler. They moved furniture around, gave us a window seat to keep him entertained, brought out colouring pages and gave him a free chocolate treat. My only criticism of Carter's is the paper cups and plates but I will be returning again as it is definitely a family friendly cafe. Nice coffee also.
