The Great Escape

02/07/2025: We had an absolutely amazing time at The Great Escape in their 90's Video Store Room. The room itself had some puzzle aspects that we haven't seen in other rooms so it felt super fresh. Mark was our host and he was super friendly. I can't recommend this escape room enough!
23/05/2025: A fantastic day with the family, really layed out with easy and hard clues. Nice friendly staff and located in the heart of the City.

02/08/2025: Friendly service. I was a bit disappointed, the restaurant of a greyhound racecourse did not allow a greyhound inside. We had a retired greyhound, that would have been quiet under the table.

02/11/2025: Meal was delicious but giving 2 stars for the unprofessional service we were given tonight. We spent about 1 hour 30 minutes max in there only because they took at least 30-40 minutes to bring out our main meal. When we asked for the dessert menu A young waiter asked us to leave as they had the table booked. He said “the table is booked so no dessert”. We should have been told in the first place when ordering. The waiter tried to defend himself saying “I was only told a second ago”.

€33 for two basic breakfasts. Food was actually bland and like rubber. Cappuccino tasted like it was made with sour milk. Staff are nice, ambience is nice, but can't forgive being overcharged for low quality food. Will never return.

09/11/2025: We were charged 2€ in a very rude manner by one of the waitresses just because we left one unedible spring roll and half a chicken cheese roll that were both so greasy there was a puddle of oil at the bottom of the plates.
Not coming back.
09/11/2025: This place is alright. But ramen in here is anything but ramen. Broccoli? Fried egg? Just usual pasta? Hm, just don’t call it ramen.

25/07/2025: This is review on the takeaway service in Cafe Goa.
Firstly the food is lovely, but although you are told it is busy, and takeaways can be up to an hr for delivery, we live literally 5 mins drive from restaurant but were having a drink so we couldn't collect.
2hrs for delivery and food stone cold when it arrived.
The price is expensive but if the food is good you can accept that, however , what I can't accept is cold food for the expensive cost.
So unfortunately I will not be eating or ordering from Cafe Goa again.

25/07/2025: We had our wedding cake made by Rob&Steve's as we love their cakes. We had a two tier red velvet and lemon cake and it was delicious. I got my flowers from Bizzie Lizzies and dropped them in and the lads arranged them beautifully on the cake. They also delivered and set up our cake at the venue.
