The best restaurants in Waterford

18/09/2026: We had an absolutely horrible experience at this place. Food quality is the cheapest frozen food heated. We ordered duck it was so dry and impossible to eat. There where small pieces of other things like leftovers from other plates in it like ham, chicken, prawn. Fries were absolutely dry and cheapest quality. Chicken stew smelled like a bleach and tasted even worse. Even chicken nuggets for our child were overly dried and impossible to bite. We asked the bill they noticed we couldn’t eat anything. The lady asked if we didn’t like it. We said yes we don’t like the food. In a very arrogant manner she asked where we from? Like it would change the quality of their good! We paid i er 70€ and felt like robbed. They didn’t even say thank you for our gesture as I still think they don’t deserve these money. When you open place and call it food service make it a bit better than heating up frozen duck and chicken! I still do not understand how chicken can smell bleach and wee ot was absolutely disgusting!

15/08/2026: I have ordered delivery due to laziness. I wish i had just had a fried egg. Lana has no idea about asian food. The wonton was inedible, cold, chewy. The singapore noodles, which are supposed to have a peanut sauce have never been in the same city as a peanut. Will never order this again. Someone from Lana needs to find out what real Asian food is. Absolutely inedible. Threw the whole amount in the bin.

07/08/2026: OMG, all the different flavours of milkshake, thick tasty milkshake. The ice-cream, the cakes, atmosphere, service, everything. Absolutely amazing. Thank you Carter's.

30/07/2026: Nice espresso and hot chocolate, lovely place and they also give you a small free chocolate with your coffee so I would definitely recommend it

24/09/2026: I personally found this place to be extra ordinary , giving that I’m not from Roscommon I thought this was a place like no other compared to the shops/cafes where I’m from, the food was 10/10 everything cooked to perfection and they even give you extra items with the breakfast if you take some out which is rare , the coffee beans have a taste that’s not too bitter but strong enough I also found the prices to be reasonable considering the portions they serve, the staff were all so lovely and kind and also very respectful. Overall I rate this place 5star not only for its food and staff but also for the cute little decorative cafe just added to the vibes, if you’re passing through and feel hungry I’d 100% recommend !!!!!

01/10/2026: I’d love to be able to give you a review of the food but I wasn’t given the chance. Was looking forward to trying their breakfast as it’s always recommended. I walked in the doors had to stand for a minute or two until someone greeted me. Which was fine but no warmth in the welcome. Two of the staff just looked at each other and one of them guided me over to the table without saying anything. The menu was placed down and not one word said to me. Not good morning not even a “there you are” when I got to the table. And that’s where the story ended. I sat there patiently waiting for someone to take my order but no one ever came back. I waited extra long because I was excited to try the breakfast everyone told me about. But no one bothered to come back. I even tried that trick where I’d stare at the staff as they go by to get their attention. I had to leave because they showed absolutely no interest in coming back to me. I even had to think to myself ‘was it personal’. Did they not want to serve me because I’ve never waited that long for anyone to take my order. Needless to say I won’t even park outside the door, let alone stepping foot in anywhere like that again. I’d even understand if they were busy. But there was empty tables. It’s a huge no for me.

03/09/2026: Came here for lunch for the first time. The cutlery I was given was dirty. Wrong drink was served. The chicken was good quality, although the Caesar salad was disgusting. So oily I felt ill after only a few bites. It was cheap enough, service was decent. Food arrived quickly. I’d give it a miss if I’m honest.

17/09/2026: I recently held a small party here for my 40th and many people at it have since commented saying just how good of a venue it was. We had the small bar downstairs opened up for us which is a perfect venue for a party (about 40 or so of us there on the night). There was a great selection of beers and cocktails for everyone, we were able to put on our own playlist through the PA system and the two bar staff on the night were sound out and very helpful. As a pub in general I would always rate Itty Bittys/Bank Lane but I also highly recommend it as venue for a party/group.

26/08/2026: Middling, fairly mediocre BLT served with a small ramakin of fries and side salad, which was purple coleslaw. No salad seen at all. Only €13.50. Probably won't be back.
