The best restaurants in Waterford

10/05/2025: I ordered my wedding cake from Rob & Steve’s and couldn’t recommend them more! I wanted a simple two tier vanilla cake with buttercream frosting, with the plan to have my florist provide flowers to decorate it. I was ordering from abroad (destination wedding) so communicated mostly via email, and even so the staff were so helpful walking me through the sizing and filling options, and accommodating when I needed the cake for a Sunday wedding (they’re closed Sundays) but they were able to deliver it the Saturday afternoon the day before (then my friend added the florals on Sunday, for which Rob and Steve’s also provided guidance to share with my friend - amazing!). The price was great, and the cake turned out stunning. I got so many complements on how delicious it was, friends were happy to take leftovers. None went to waste!

17/02/2025: Delicious pizzas, special mention for the gluten free pizza and garlic bread pizza too. Happy kids, husband and gluten free me. Casual dine in area, cosy and warm with the wood burning pizza oven. I would drive 3.5 hours back here now that I’ve found it.

19/06/2025: Tucked away cocktail bar. Drinks were all great, inside vibe was nice but a bit dead on Sunday afternoon.

20/04/2025: Welcoming bar in a central location. Sometimes it is cold int there, a bit noisy , due to the construction, maybe. The drinks are expensive and they won't provide tap water when requested. That was particularly surpising being in a group of 5, having two rounds of drinks, and buying food. Stingy given the pricing.

15/06/2025: This place is just so wholesome from top to bottom. Do visit if you get a chance. Food was class. They have organic produce and loads of other lovely stuff. The porridge was delicious and heartwarming. My man had beans and eggs and was in awe. During weekends they have all-day brunch. ❤️

05/06/2025: I took my son for breakfast . He ordered omelette which was lovely but the toast was burnt and had to he returned . I had ordered French toast which was hard over cooked and v little sign of egg ( it should be dipped in it ) I did not return the toast as we had already retuned my sons toast . - but could not eat most of it . The bacon extra was lovely . I requested maple syrup instead of honey but I got honey . Without the bacon the French toast cost 11.50 ( too expensive and indelible ) . I told the cashier when paying - she just said sorry . The standards have dropped .

04/05/2025: Great food,no wonder why the fish was next to me when I was eating the egg nigiri.You had to press buttons if you want to order,get the bill or just have water. Overall it’s a brilliant place.

05/06/2025: Delicious food in an incredibly friendly atmosphere. The staff took great care of the experience from start to finish and that needs to be appreciated. The food was tasty, fresh and we even talked to the staff about it. If anything disturbed the overall experience, it was the restroom, which could have been cleaner. However, all the rest made the visit a great culmination of a day in Waterford and the courtesy will definitely be remembered.

08/05/2025: Wonderful place, been going here on and off for 20 years. Went back recently after not been for a number of years. Staff are exceptionally kind and considerate. Food is lovely and they willing to accommodate any specific needs one might have.

23/05/2025: A fantastic day with the family, really layed out with easy and hard clues. Nice friendly staff and located in the heart of the City.

22/05/2025: We had a great time in the escape room. We laughed a lot and realised how un coordinated we were. Thanks to Mark for pushing us along with a clue or two. Will definitely be back.

25/05/2025: Eh, I’ve been starving before coming here so theoretically the food should’ve been amazing. It was … average. I remember months ago I had a pad-thai here and it was amazing, every time i try anything else it’s just average. Conclusion if you want a pad-thai that’s a place for you, otherwise just cook something by yourself at home, same thing.

06/03/2025: It's okay, vegetable chow mean was wet which I was not expecting, curry not very spicy. Overall the meal was only okay. Staff were lovely though. We got a takeaway
