19/10/2025: I have dined at this restaurant twice before, and the experience was good, so I decided to order takeaway this time. When I called to place my order, I asked to speak with a Chinese-speaking staff. I ordered a lamb dish and asked whether prawn crackers were included (as they were when dining in). She first said no, then later said, “I can give them to you,” and told me the total was €22. I understood that to mean the crackers were included as a complimentary item. However, when my friend picked up the order, the receipt showed lamb + prawn crackers for €19, with the crackers charged separately at €3. When I called to ask why, they said “free crackers only for orders over €20,” then changed it to “over €22.” To this day, I still don’t know which is correct — the communication was very confusing and unclear. During the call, a male manager took over and immediately started arguing. He spoke very aggressive, “I only charged you €19; if you want them free, pay €22 — I even gave you a discount.” When I said it was unreasonable and that I would file a complaint if they didn’t refund the €3, he repeatedly shouted, “I don’t care! I don’t care! I don’t care!” He made no attempt to resolve the issue and only escalated the conflict with his aggressive attitude. Later, another female staff spoke politely, explained the policy, and told us to come to the restaurant for the refund. We returned the crackers and received the €3 back. However, this whole experience revealed: • The manager’s rude attitude and highly unprofessional problem-solving; • Poor internal communication and unclear policies. I will never go to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone. Also, the portion sizes are very small — not recommended.

11/10/2025: We've been coming for few years and never had a disappointing meal. It's well cooked and served by attentive staff and always at a good price, especially the early bird menu. 4 courses for €25.

25/08/2025: I visit the odeon quite regularly, I have never had issues regarding the problems I’ve been reading in these reviews in the numerous amount of years that I have been visiting. I do agree that it’s fully understandable to express your concerns as it is your review and that’s what makes it so valuable, but I did want to make this review just to point out the obvious that some reviews are a bit of an over reaction. The staff here are lovely and welcoming they have your best interest in mind, their job is to make you enjoy your movie to a high standard and they have been doing well at hitting that standard from my experience. As mentioned prior I’ve been going here for years and I’ve seen new and old staff come and go, I had an issue with one of my tickets that I booked online and a specifically short girl at the till came over and resolved my issue very quickly and i highly appreciated that. She was doing a million and one things at once and still made time to come and help me, if this isn’t what customer satisfaction is about I don’t know what to tell you. 10/10 cinema will happily be coming here aslong as i keep watching movies ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

24/09/2025: Food and service is always amazing- the staff are so lovely and the pancakes are some of the best that I’ve had. I always have a good experience with the waitresses and they seem to have great relationships with the locals/ regulars. I have to say though, for the second time now, I’ve noticed the man who I assume is the manager/ head chef talking down to the staff and being rude to them. Could be just that he’s busy or I’m catching him at a bad moment but it definitely sets a bad tone for customers to overhear and get the impression that staff aren’t being treated right- especially given the great job they’re doing!

24/10/2025: I haven't been to this pub in ages. Since university I'd say. It's so cosy and there is a lovely atmosphere there. It has a small upstairs venue too which is cool. The people we spoke to we very friendly too. As was the bar man Tom. So welcoming and witty at the same time. My type of person. A great selection of IPA'S which pleased me no end. 👏🍻🐐

23/10/2025: Best pub in town ! Tom is the nicest ever and it's an absolute beautiful place. It feels warm (the fireplace is so nice when it's cold) and homey and so cosy. A must visit with a large choice of beer ! Thank you for the kind welcome !! We will be back !

17/09/2025: Foods so delicious but customer care was very disappointing. We were there for an hour and no one ever came up to ask every thing is ok or need anything? It was a quiet time and no one there too. Ask for the bill but have been told to pay at the counter .
