18/08/2025: Very helpful, accommodating and genuinely friendly staff

17/08/2025: The greeting we got from the girl on front desk wasn’t exactly welcoming and a little bit rude - I didn’t catch her name. Then the cocktails at lunch were soooo bad I sent them both back. Really disappointing! What I will say though was it was good location, nice view of the city and our room was a great size and reasonably priced.

09/07/2025: Vegan and vegetarian options only, it's ok but I have had better elsewhere. ***Update as requested by the owner- reviewing experience from three months ago. Had "the garden gate" and a matcha latte.

22/05/2025: Super surprise in finding this place for vegetarian and vegan food. We had three full plates normally costing € 10.50 were priced down to €5.50 as it was after 1 pm. Food was very tasty and I am not easily impressed.

08/08/2025: A lovely pub that we discovered by accident on a short stop in Waterford. The stuff we're kind enough to accommodate us in the evening even though we were coming with kids. Cosy beer garden as well!

31/05/2025: Best place in Waterford to have a drink! Great community and fantastic selection of rotating beers on tap. Amazing bartenders, Tom is the best in Waterford if not Ireland.

20/07/2025: I got a curry from here for €18 and it was just slop and I couldn't eat it it just had to go in the bin, it was like the sauce wax watered down to the last and the dish itself didn't work and the chicken was also not nice

11/07/2025: he food was very tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had to wait a bit for our drinks even though the place wasn’t busy, but we went there to eat, not to drink ;)

20/07/2024: The pizza is top quality delicious goodness combined with the most friendly staff I've ever encountered makes a visit to this hidden gem a must. After dinner I got talking about the sport of Irish Hurling with the chef. I've never seen a live match so the chef gets a hurling paddle from his car to show me the critical tool of the game and gives me a hurling ball to take back home. I'm overcome with joy from experiencing the best of human nature. Please pay this wonderful establishment a visit. You'll be glad you did.

05/07/2025: Review: Poor Customer Service – Very Disappointed We visited this restaurant at 5 PM sharp, right when it opened. Despite being the first ones there, the waiter placed “Reserved” signs on every single table and gave our group of four people a small, uncomfortable table, even though the entire restaurant was empty. We had our food and finished by 6 PM. When I asked about the empty reserved tables, the waiter casually said, “All customers are running late.” So we were made to sit at a cramped table for an hour while the better ones stayed empty—just in case someone else showed up later. To make things worse, when we left, the waiter just said “Goodbye” with no proper courtesy or effort to thank us for coming. It felt like we weren’t valued at all. This is not how customers should be treated. Do we really need to support places that don’t respect the people who actually show up on time? 15/06/2025: Today I went with my children to the place, I left very upset, I waited an hour for my order and it didn't come, we had to ask for our money back.For this reason I cannot evaluate the meal, the service left something to be desired due to the delay and disorganization.

11/08/2025: Despite this at their front entrance. My mother’s room stank of cigaret smoke. Room was inspected and they agreed the room had strong cigarette smell offered to move to a room half the size on the top floor when the lift was not working, they also said they would give a discount because of the cigaret smoke. On check-out my mother was told there was no manager available to make a decision. And some would be in contact. Not how I would handle customer service. Can not recommend the property at all
