16/03/2024: The place is pleasing to the eye and polite, the expectations were not high, but when the food arrived on the table, to my surprise, the food was excellent, the flavors were excellent, as well as the structure together with the serving, the portions were large but very tasty, a warm appetizer and then the main the food was great, real Asia on a plate and the price is very, very low for this quality.. All in all, a place to which I will return again, congratulations!

16/03/2024: Fantastic pub in Athlone. Staff are so friendly, helpful & happy. Atmosphere was just right not super busy, temperature was perfect (insanely hot pubs seems to be a thing) Had a lovely Guinness and Jamieson. Not food on the menu otherwise we would have stayed.

04/04/2024: Stayed in the Tower for one night. Room was very comfortable and spacious, and the coffee machine was available in the room. Breakfast was ok. Free parking. Great staff at the front desk.

13/11/2023: Best Mexican Food I’ve had. Came here after a shopping trip and got a quesadilla while my sister got a nacho bowl (they were delicious). Service was great staff was very helpful and food was ready very quickly. The atmosphere felt very welcoming aswell. 10/10 totally recommend.

29/03/2024: Just back from Athlone catch up with friend and we went to Savory Fare for food and spend 4 hours there lol had lunch beautiful fish and chips for Good Friday followed by tea & coffee and lemon drizzle care, food,staff and whole atmosphere fantastic love the beautiful cup, mug and tea pot highly recommend 😀👍 till next time

11/03/2024: The Jia Jia has for years been and still is the best Chinese in the Midlands! The food is absolutely delicious, so authentic and always excellent! The service is fantastic whether you dine in or have take-away/delivery. The owners and staff are so accommodating, efficient and friendly. Out of any Chinese cuisine I have tried ANYWHERE in Ireland, the Jia Jia will always be the best!! Family run business too which is a bonus.

26/03/2024: I've been using the Athlone Springs Hotel for over 10 years now & I can't fault it. I regularly use their meeting room facilities & their accommodation. I've found them to be of the highest standard. From the moment you enter the hotel you'll find all the staff friendly & helpful from the reception desk to the conference staff & the amazing breakfast team. All go above & beyond to make your stay as stress free & comfortable as possible. I've stayed in many hotels throughout Ireland & I would rate the Athlone Springs Hotel as the No.1 for hospitality & service. A special mention to Nicole in conference & events who is an absolute asset to the team & has made all my booking a breeze to organise. Book the Athlone Springs with confidence & you're sure to return again.

17/03/2024: Extremely dissapointed. I can honestly say this is the worst 4 star hotel I have ever been in. I booked a double room for 2 nights, when we arrived we just dropped our bags and went for lunch, where i had two glasses of wine which is why i HAD to spend 1 night here. If i had noticed the bed etc before i would have left, a lot of places put 2 singles together to make a double... but they are normally two level mattress! there was a 3-4 inch difference in height with the mattress and the bed felt very old. I then moved over to the single bed to try and sleep but that was sinking becase of broken springs and it had lots of squeaks and noise when just rolling over. It is over rated and over priced. It was also flity which with every thing covid-19 was quite concerning straight away, There were handprints on the doors, the hall doors were closed which defeated the point of santaising your hands, then having to push through 4 doors to get to your room 🤔The headboards were dusty not cleaned at all, the bed bases were dirty and uncovered, the phone was full of dust. The carpets were full of stains. VERY limited tv stations which wouldn't normally bother me but with the fact that you can't go out or sit in the bar the ball was dropped here, i mean the basic sky package would have made a huge difference. Netflix was on the TV but you had to use your own login so if you didn't have an netflix account it was pointless. The whole place needs to be updated Early morning constant doors banging, neighbours had a noise complaint where the night manager came up and told them to keep it down, when they were just chatting, while a party was going on in a room up the hall and nothing was said to them. Staff were not apologetic when i told them why i was leaving, honestly it was as if this was an everyday occurance, like ugh another one. They didn't even have the decincy to offer a refund, This was the most disappointing booking i have ever made, I wouldn't give the Athlone Springs 1star, but as it is the lowest rating your allowed I didn't have a choice. I would never revisit nor does it give me much hope for future staycations this year 🤨
