The best restaurants in Cavan

24/03/2024: My friend and I enjoyed one of the best stakes we've had in a very long time. The pepper sauce was spot on and the stake was perfectly cooked and tender. Highly recommended.

30/07/2023: It is great to see an old school establishment like Kitty's still going strong, a great welcoming atmosphere and a fantastic Landlady running the shop. Kitty definitely puts the Lady into Landlady!

18/08/2024: We had amazing waitress Marta who looked after us. She is very nice and friendly. We enjoyed talking with her. Good choice of food, big portions. I could give 5 stars unfortunately this place was full at the beginning and we spend 2 hours walking around the hotel before we could get in. There are other areas in the hotel with bar which should be opened for guests so they could enjoy time there. Or at least there should be some lounge area where people’s could get a coffee and sit on couch and relax- we’ve seen some places like that but we had no idea if we could even sit there. Thanks to Marta our bad first impression have changed.

12/08/2024: Overall this is a very nice dining experience. As the weather was amazing, we chose to dine outside on the extensive terrace. Staff led us to the table and we were a bit abandoned. Gavin went inside to order the first drink and get some menus. It was exceptionally busy given the weather and there was a staff wedding at the same time. There was live music. He was great with a mix of songs that were real crowd pleasers. Once we had placed our dinner order, the staff were highly attentive. The food was very good arriving quite quickly. it was significantly better food than your average bar. We had chicken tacos and BBQ pork ribs. Both dishes were excellent. For dessert we shared the apple pie. I have to admit the dessert was underwhelming when it arrived but Oh MY! it was so good. And just the right size. We would definitely eat here again if in the area.

05/10/2024: food very nice everyone enjoyed steak cooked to perfection medium rare. the kids enjoyed the food and so did the misus enjoyed it as well

23/05/2024: Six days of sunshine in a row in Ireland. Apart from our stay in 2005, we had never experienced such a week in our last 9 stays. 2 meters and nice catches throughout the week. Another big thank you to Michel, Olivier and the entire IFC team for their sympathy and their professionalism. Everything is always at the TOP, whether in terms of chalets, meals, and their availability. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. 25/11/2023: Great spot, especially when music on in the outside area!

01/09/2023: If its a night of dancing singing and having the craic this is the place to go. Look out for amazing singers , bands and celebration nights, get there early for seating so your not disappointed. Staff are attentive and when there's food been served its amazing
