01/09/2025: Bake their own goods in store!...lovely oldie worldie fresh bakes too including the super yummy long jam and cream style doughnuts I would have had with my granny 50 years ago. Can't get them anywhere else! Very friendly staff/owners, great personal service and great value. 1990s style decor and vibe - a welcome break from the ultra modern overpriced places. Located on Bridge Street which is a cool place for boutiques etc...

26/09/2025: Really good food, cooked exactly as requested. Even made me some chili oil. Great service, great food, great prices. Second time visit d and won't be the last.

26/03/2024: Opus menu available in the Atrium Bar rather than upstairs in the restaurant- same menu but casual. Excellent porn star martini! Food choices similar to usual Irish fare. Good but not outstanding. Friendly service. Good vibe to the room.

22/01/2025: Picked up a delicious coffee & pastry from the take away and went back for lunch later. Smash burger was very good and the staff were lovely.

15/01/2025: This is hands down my favorite café in Kingscourt! Their Chai Lattes are absolutely delicious, and the pastries are nothing short of exquisite – truly a treat for the taste buds. I always recommend this spot to friends and family when they visit, and it never disappoints. A must-visit for anyone in the area!

01/09/2025: Been ordering from Starcourt for years & never had any issue. Staff are so lovely & friendly. Great portion sizes & gorgeous food- they do the best satay I've ever had, so much so that when we moved house we still choose to order from here rather than any of the Chinese takeaways closer to us. 10/10

16/07/2025: Had such a bad experience tonight after phoning to enquire about pre ordering a large order for a community group session the next day. I had tried to make my booking online but pre order was only letting me order up to 2.5 hours before. Decided to ring, phone was answered by staff member without any indication that it was in fact Pizza Max just an abrupt hello. I explained my query and found it very difficult to make out what he was saying he just kept saying this is Dublin, who are you, why you phone from UK number. Again I explained but to no avail just kept waffling something about his brother and Dublin and being ignorant. I waited an hour and rang back hoping I would get another member of staff but unfortunately got the same one! This time he was even more ignorant again I tried to explain and said I wanted to pre order approx 300 euro order and to make sure it was confirmed would pay by credit card upfront. He told me we only take cash on delivery who are you we can't take your order and hung up the phone. Ordered from Apache 10mins later stress free helpful staff member paid by card told me any probs call back. You just lost good business and treated me like dirt never seen customer service like it!

03/05/2025: Overall nice hotel. Clean and overall comfortable. Great ocean views with a deck The bed was a tad uncomfortable - similar to a really poor Hampton Inn. The restaurant food and service - consistent with other reviews - was average for dinner and breakfast. We would return to the hotel. Tip: Rent electric bikes on the island and use the Green Route. Amazing views - breathtaking - seals - and beautiful stone walls.

27/04/2025: We booked a table for two for Saturday 19th April having reviewed the online menu, particularly in relation to the vegetarian options. On arrival, the menu put in front of us bore no resemblance to the online menu. We ordered the only veggie option: speghetti vegetable and tomato sauce, which on eating was more water based that tomato sauce. We did raise this with the waitress and again at reception on leaving, in relation to how disappointed we were. We have never posted reviews but couldn’t let this one go. Vegetarians, stay away from here.

24/03/2024: My friend and I enjoyed one of the best stakes we've had in a very long time. The pepper sauce was spot on and the stake was perfectly cooked and tender. Highly recommended.

20/10/2024: Really friendly and super helpful staff, answering silly questions and requests and chatting when they had a minute. Music was really fantastic. Lovely comfortable warm would highly recommend.
