17/11/2024: Stopped in late November, they must have just put the Christmas decorations up, arrived with no booking on a busy enough Sunday evening and the hostess at the front desk went out of her way to find the best seats for us upstairs. Menu had loads of options and everything that came out was the kind of food that you'd hope it would be. Just really solid, well cooked gastro food that looked great on the plate. Every course was delicious and the staff were really helpful and attentive. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Skibreen

17/09/2024: Just finished a delicious yummy breakfast in An Chístín Beag. The staff were so lovely (especially lady with dark hair - she mentioned she had a son). She was so kind with our nearly 2 yr old
Hubby had the full Irish which he loved, myself and little one had pancakes which were amazing. Portion is 3 decent size but for child they can do 1, 2 or 3 depending on child's appetite. The banana and Nutella ones went down well with our little one.
If in Skibbereen or close by def worth a visit - they also do lunches too

24/10/2024: A really lovely spot for a good wholesome bite to eat. Very tasty food, reasonably priced for the lovely dishes served up. Great service, the gentleman serving us was very polite and friendly to all customers and helped to great that lovely relaxed atmosphere. Coffee 👌 holidaying in Schull and this place was so good, we travelled back a couple of days later, we enjoyed it that much 😊

28/09/2024: Amazing place to go and paint your own pottery from a very large range of things to choose from . You can drink tea /coffee while you paint. The staff there are really helpful but also leave you you alone while you work .you can also go on the pottery wheel if you wish . This place is about 2 hours from where I live but it is totally worth the journey

21/11/2024: Great location, friendly helpful staff, room was very comfortable. Loved that we had mugs and Barrys tea and 2 large bottles of water. There is lots of history with pictures and is in the middle of the town. Would have given 5 stars except for having no hot water. Things break and that's OK but it was broken for 2 days. Will still go back in the summer.

07/11/2024: Myself, my husband and our 2.5 year old stopped in for a quick soup while out running errands. The barman was very attentive making sure our little fella was well looked after too.
We had a veg soup and chips. Soups was really tasty and not like the imitation baby food ya get in most places. The chips were skin on skinny chip with a decent amount too. They were great. My husband loved the MUG of great coffee.
They pull a good pint too.

We had scampi for mains and fish and chips, slightly overcooked but still tasty, had chocolate brownie for dessert- not recommend
Cons- the material on the chairs are filthy dirty

20/09/2024: Great spot for a quick lunch to go. They have tasty sandwiches, made fresh each day, that they toast up for you. Always tastes great!! They offer a lunch deal with a sandwich + soup for a reasonable price. Always hits the spot and I’ll be back again soon!!
