16/12/2024: We dined here recently and had a great evening. The staff were very professional and pleasant. The menu offered a great variety of food and we were not disappointed with our meals. The food was cooked to a very high standard and was very tasty. We would have no hesitation in returning here in the future and we would highly recommend this restaurant to any visitors to Youghal.

08/02/2025: We had a reservation for 18:30 and arrived a bit early. The upstairs bartender immediately told us—without even checking our names—that our table wasn’t ready. No problem; we took a short walk and returned on time, only to be told again that our table still wasn’t ready.
It was finally ready at 18:45, which was frustrating since we were on a schedule. What made it worse was seeing the bar downstairs nearly empty, with most tables unoccupied.
That said, the cocktails were excellent, and the service downstairs was great.

02/02/2025: I've been to The Quays several times and enjoyed it every time. The food is tasty, I love the warm/family atmosphere there and the staff has always been super friendly. Special thanks to the bartender who went the extra mile last time I was there (Stag Rua).

22/01/2025: Had a lovely night away with dinner and breakfast with our three kids. Food was really excellent, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very much looking forward to returning. The family room worked out very well and was very comfortable.

Top performance in this part of town. To be tried, employed and enjoyed, hopefully after a few destroyed..

20/10/2024: We didn't have food, but this was a very well run establishment. Themusic was fabulous. The owner was a lovely man, and he had a great eye on everything it was a great place to spend a few hours.

02/01/2025: Had high hopes for this place but was sadly let down by the service. The lady who took out order was absolutely lovely but two members of staff seemed very unhappy to be there, and made us feel very uncomfortable. Twice they asked a little boy to stop "banging" the chair despite the fact that he clearly wasn't annoying anyone but them. When a party came in late asking to be seated for lunch they very rude to them saying " lunch is over but I suppose this once we can serve you" Never been made to feel so uncomfortable in an establishment in my life. Couldn't wait to get out of there to be honest. Such a pity. Must do better, Nook
