09/09/2026: We had an amazing time. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The bar was really clean and very comfortable.

25/08/2026: Lots of screens for the football, sat at the bar, service was friendly, pints were brilliant, nice and spacious place with a good view of all the TVs. Left to my own devices watching the early kick-off. Not as cosy as your traditional pubs, quite well polished, still got that sort of sports bar / pub / walkabout vibe to it, food looked good too. Could easily whittle away an afternoon here.

25/09/2026: We ate a gorgeous meal from a very varied menu ( fish curry and rhubarb and custard baked cheesecake- my dream meal). The staff were exceptional- friendly, warm, helpful and light. The setting is comfortable but glam : the perfect mix. Highly recommended and i can't wait to go back.

The portions were generous, and everything tasted exactly as it should. 👌 The staff were also very friendly and professional, which made the whole experience even better. You can really see that they care about the quality of their food and making sure their customers are happy. Definitely one of those places you want to come back to. 29/07/2026: As soon as we drove onto the property, we were met with the lovely valets that handled our bags and asked questions to provide any assistance with our travels details and guidance on what to do in Cork. Once we entered the lobby, the staff was lovely and very helpful. Checking in was a breeze and you felt the staff was very attentive with providing information on our stay and details about where to find the restaurants and bars on the grounds. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff wrote us a note for our anniversary and provided little sweet treats, which was a lovely touch. The amenities in our room were excellent with a soaking tub and a nice and big walk-shower. The location of the Manor was central to the college and town. They do provide a car service and have a partnership with a local taxi company that was readily available to take into town. The atmosphere of the manor was incredible. You really felt like you were in the country side and heard very little noise from the surrounding area. With all the amenities, the service the staffed provided, and relaxing environment, I feel the value of staying here is well worth the price. This was our first time staying at Hayfield Manor and I will be booking again for a longer stay, next time. I highly recommend staying here for a couples retreat to take advantage of the spa or a nice family weekend to unwind.

24/07/2026: After staying at Hayfield Manor every other hotel stay will have so much to live up to. The grounds, restaurants, bars and rooms were absolutely beautiful. The pool, steam room and spa amenities were so beautiful and a great addition to the stay. The service was beyond any that we have ever experienced. Mary, Holly and all the staff were beyond helpful, kind and attentive to every detail. I will always remember our stay at the Manor and greatly appreciate all of the staff for their hospitality, attention to detail and kind gestures.

23/09/2026: A very enjoyable evening in Cork at SpitJack restaurant. The menu is short but excellent. Be warned, though: if you're expecting a burger with a beef patty, the meat is more of a stuffed meat. The servers are attentive to allergies, and I was served mashed potatoes (which were delicious) instead of fries. The French wine selection doesn't live up to the quality of the vineyards they offer.

23/08/2026: We love eating out but this experience was the best we have had ever, the inside is just stunning ,staff so friendly but it was the food was so fantastic. Its the attention to detail ,the food on the plate was 10 /10 highly recommend x

07/09/2026: We had the best meal at the Glass Curtain for our anniversary! We were sat right in front of the kitchen and watched the staff meticulously prepare every plate. The tasting menu was so interesting and delicious (we’re still thinking of the smoked tomato days later!) and we loved the wine pairing! We were able to sample wines we wouldn’t have otherwise chosen. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Cork.

03/09/2026: Just back from an amazing experience at The Glass Curtain, seated at the bar with some American visitors and, together, we learned so much about the menu, local producers and ingredients -food and drinks! The food was absolutely spectacular and the recommended wine pairings were excellent. Tom is an absolute gem behind the bar, so friendly and knowledgeable, whatever he is being paid they need to double it! Definitely coming back when I’m in Cork next, best meal I’ve had in ages and great fun with it.

14/08/2026: We stayed for 2 nights in the one of the lodges on the resort ( with a family of 8, 6 adults and 2 kids) there is plenty to do on the resort walks, golf, spa swimming pool, and Fota wildlife park itself. Would highly recommend it if you are thinking about it. Close by there is the Elm tree restaurant Brambley lodge cafe and Cobh is only a short 10 minute drive where you have plenty more activities to do, pleasant stay and if we are doing this type of holiday again we will be back

28/07/2026: Beautiful hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. It is a little outside of Cork, which makes for a relaxing and quiet stay. We enjoyed our time here, and the team at the hotel were welcoming.

20/07/2026: We loved this pub. Locals hanging out, messing with each other and the bar team was great. Got to have beers that are not available where we live. Thanks to the employees that were working this night. You made our day.

03/07/2026: Just finished our stay here; great place! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, food is great, and, most importantly, amazing water pressure in the shower! It was lovely staying on the green in Blarney and it all had a friendly small village vibe. I look forward to staying here again, thanks all!

24/05/2026: Got treated with zero respect at all by the polish female waiter in springboard ,very ignorant to me and my partner, wouldn’t give any time to have a look at the menu and food quality was very very average 😂Didn’t even get offered any water but every other table did which we were completely judge by our age because we looked young would never be recommended to anybody who has money for nearly a 5 star hotel it’s a joke the way we got treated. If you are looking for a nice and respectful place to eat then don’t choose this location 😅

18/05/2026: Not too far from Cork city centre stands a beautiful hotel on the banks of the river. Rooms are of a good size, clean and beds are very comfortable. Staff are lovely, professional and pleasant, and they can only bested by the food served. Everything from the goats cheese tartlet through to the incredible beef mains was nothing short of exceptional. To top it all off, a trip to the spa, including the outdoor heated (really warm) swimming pool. Overall, a really pleasant experience, and worth every moment.

11/09/2026: We visited early on a Thursday evening. The food was fine, but my friend and I were surrounded by really loud, raucous large groups. It was so noisy we couldn't hold a conversation or hear the waitress. We left after one course.

06/09/2026: Booked dinner for 7 for a 60th birthday celebration. Every starter, main course served was 5 stars. The staff went above and beyond. We brought in a cake and balloons for table and they were so accommodating. Start to finish, good service, good atmosphere and at a reasonable price.
