27/03/2026: The Supermacs website states that this branch has a SuperSubs outlet. It doesn't.
Please update the website to reflect this that someone else doesn't waste their time going there.
I can't eat any of the chips or burgers on offer because they have milk and soya in them.
30/01/2026: The food is honestly delicious. What I liked most about this place is how incredibly friendly the staff are, starting from the warm welcome at the till. In particular, there is a tall gentleman who wears glasses i believe he is the manager. I noticed how warmly he welcomes customers and how he is on top of everything. Truly the right person in the right position

18/02/2026: I’ve been a long-time customer of O’Hehir’s at both Westside and Terryland. The food itself is nice, but over the past 12 months I’ve noticed a real drop in portion sizes, particularly with wraps and sandwiches make by new staff.
The newer staff seem very skimpy with fillings, to the point where it’s awkward to have to ask for more and explain that you’re hungry. For €9 or more for a wrap or flatbread, you expect a proper, filling portion. Lately, unless you keep asking for extra filling, you can easily leave with a very light sandwich.
It honestly feels like staff are being instructed to use as little filling as possible, which is frustrating and disappointing for customers. While I can't be sure of the reason, I think a little more common sense is needed at times. Some clearer training or consistency on portion sizes would really help.

23/11/2025: I had a really frustrating experience with an online order from this branch. The delivery ended up at my neighbor's house, and when I called to sort it out, they just insisted it had been delivered without even checking who signed for it. The manager wasn't helpful at all and refused a refund initially. After a bunch of calls, I still didn't get any compensation, even after waiting four hours for a new order. Plus, my drink was missing! The manager was rude and totally unsympathetic when I explained I'd come to the branch to sort things out. In the end, they only replaced the food, not the drink. To make it worse, the manager claimed their driver doesn’t ask for names upon delivery, just drops it off, and then insisted I was lying because the driver has been with them for 12 years.

31/12/2024: Muy, muy decepcionado. Visita anualmente @xmas pero nunca más. Gnocchi no comestible, hamburguesas secas, patatas fritas tan fuerte rebotó cuando trató de comer con un tenedor, la merluza era horrible. Platos muy desnudos, sin ensalada de acompañamiento en cualquier plato. Los ñoquis solo tenían un pequeño trozo de pan de ajo, las porciones eran extremadamente pequeñas. No demasiado ocupado así que no hay excusa. Quedó esperando años para ordenar y de nuevo para pagar. Dije que la comida no era buena, pero le dije que no le diré disculpas al chef. No volveré.
08/10/2024: Good for a pint of Guinness to wind down the evening while sitting out front to watch the people. There are bouncers at the door checking ID's but they could clearly tell that I am definitely of age.
Inside, loud with music at 8pm on a Saturday night. So it was outside with the pint glass and thankfully, no one smoking out there. Great to sit for an hour and watch the idiots peel out from Eyre Square in their fancy cars. And watch the taxis make the u-turn to the stand directly in front. And when someone did decide to light up, finish off the pint and head onwards.
Lots of tourists in town this evening so it was busy all around.

10/07/2024: We visited from UK and was really shocking to see this was the only LGBTQ+ bar in Galway. Bar was very small and atmosphere was definitely off! However host and bar persons were brilliant! Music was available on request which is always fun and plenty to choose from on the cocktail menu
03/07/2024: From Canada, in Galway durin our spring break in March.
I had horrible experience. Looked up gay bar. Excited to go on late aftenoon with my str8 brother in law. Just to be made fun and ridiculd by bad queen i guess hosting a str8 girls night.
All for that and great for doing...but once we walked in, door not locked, NOT EVEN A SIGN OUTSIDE saying closed fir private event.
Once i heard it say thats why door is closed...made me sooo pissed off at how you treat new guests.
In my world, you put a sign on door saying private party.
Not make fun of tourist who just wanted to go to safe gay place.
I will NOT recommend this place, and hope someone will open another gay place to go...or at least fire that wannabe queen. She not even a princess.....just trash.

13/07/2025: Poor food and service, a group of 10 and everyone was disappointed. Food was not fresh, overcooked and lacked flavour.
The hotel appears nice, but the restaurant doesn’t match this quality. The tables were set incorrectly, long waits for any requests and multiple mistakes in the orders.

05/02/2025: Este fue el mejor lugar para un delicioso capuchino, una vista increíble y el pastel de cereza de almendra más celestial.
La mejor parte fue el servicio - Pablo fue más allá para asegurar que disfrutamos de nuestra estancia e incluso dio recomendaciones para asegurar que disfrutamos de los mejores lugares de la ciudad. Gracias Corrib house! ¡Volveremos!
