The best restaurantsof irish in Galway

01/04/2024: A tiny cafe on the heart of Galeay. We ate Irish breakfasts that were OK, if a little low on portion size.

30/03/2024: We just had a coffee. Without further ado, the surprise is that he charged us 50 cents more for being decaffeinated without specifying it anywhere. The worst was the treatment. It has a huge sign on the door indicating that there is room upstairs. We enter and go up the stairs that are found as soon as we open the door. The owner automatically came out shouting after us saying that the upstairs is closed in a rude and impolite manner. As we sat down at the table a girl came in, repeating the same situation. The girl left straight away, which we should have done if it hadn't been pouring rain. The advantage is that the table is just as sticky as the stairs to go up to the bathroom, so neither you nor your coffee will fall when you go up to the toilet. Disgusting.

10/02/2024: Visited with my little girl. Staff gave us a sticker book while we waited and were so friendly.

09/02/2024: Went in to collect food for my wife. A manager in a blue shirt with glasses simply tapped on the credit card machine and walked away to get the food. No communication of the price or any engagement, height of rudeness

20/11/2023: Service was good but unfortunately food was very dissapointing, Had a a starter which was prawns with chorizo, was told they had no prawns left but would substitute crab claws for it. Crab claws were toatally inedible and tough, not good. Mains were only ok, sides of chips were not cooked properly and hard. We did not have dessert. The restaurant itself is nice and the staff are lovely but the food needs improvement.
