09/03/2025: Have tried the pasta a couple times and it was awful. Low quality and maybe cooked wrong. Chicken was chewy and flavourless.
Other dishes could be good though
15/02/2025: I had a surprise bag from this restaurant, the portion was big enough for two people and food was yummy. But it’s better to mention on the box if there is something chili😅

09/03/2025: I wanted to seat outside with my dog, went in just to order, the girl at the counter was very rude because I had my dog and I clarified that I was going to seat outside. It just made me feel not welcomed so I just ended up having my coffee and scone fast and left, even worse feeling when the scone wasn’t really tasty.

01/12/2024: One of the worst sandwiches I ate. I ordered a chicken and stuffing sandwich, it came with only chicken (that was cold) and rocket leaves. I had to ask a waiter for the stuffing. My boyfriend asked for the turkey sandwich that is supposed to have turkey, avocado, bacon and mayo. It came with only chicken meat and rocket leaves, no sign of the rest of the ingredients. I would strongly recommend not to eat in there. Very disappointing.
26/09/2024: Tout s’annonçait pourtant bien. Il s’agit du restaurant de l’hôtel Harbour, qui propose de belles chambres. Nous avons pris deux salades, servies rapidement. Salade de la maison avec des légumes et de l’hoummous, correcte mais pourrait être accompagnée d’un peu de pain. Salade Caesar assez bonne. Par contre hamburger au bœuf indigne. Ou plutôt digne d’un hamburger sous vide à réchauffer au micro-onde. Pain premier prix (surgelé ?), viande trop cuite, un demi-cornichon, de la salade fatiguée… Frites trop grosses et pas assez cuites, servies sans sauce. Au fait : si vous voulez une tranche de fromage dans votre hamburger c’est 1€ de plus. Idem pour le bacon. Bref, oubliez. Si le patron nous lit : envoyez votre « chef » apprendre son métier. Service nonchalant. Pas d’ambiance.

05/12/2024: Salt N Pepper in Salthill is a solid choice for a quick, no-fuss meal. I tried the Fish Box Meal for €13.50 and overall had a good experience.
The fish was definitely the highlight: fresh, perfectly crispy and tasted excellent. A tartare sauce was served which went well with the fish. The fries, on the other hand, were pretty average – not bad, but nothing special either. I would give them 3 out of 5 stars, while the fish deserves a solid 5 stars.
The restaurant was clean and it was nice to have ketchup, salt and lemon juice at every table. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more pleasant.
In my opinion, the price of €13.50 is a bit on the upper limit, but still acceptable for the quality of the fish.
Salt N Pepper is a good place to go, especially if you're craving fresh and crispy fish. With slightly better fries the meal would have been perfect.

19/01/2025: Dinner at the Hardyman Hotel in Galway was underwhelming. The dining room lacked atmosphere, with cheap furniture, plastic plants, and unused tables giving it a storage-room feel. While the staff were friendly, slow service and poor training let them down. The food was good, but the space doesn’t match the charm of the hotel. A missed opportunity in an otherwise lovely setting.
19/11/2024: Tuvimos la desgracia de ir a este restaurante el fin de semana pasado, simplemente deberÃamos haber girado y salir después de nuestra 1 calle unos minutos, ya que podÃamos ver claramente a dónde iban las cosas. Estuvimos de pie durante 4 minutos con 4 o 5 empleados entrando y saliendo y ninguno de ellos reconoció que estábamos de pie allÃ. Cuando finalmente nos sentamos (estuvimos reservados durante semanas) nos dieron menús y nos dejaron 20 minutos antes de que nos pidieran incluso una orden de bebidas. Solo habÃa otras 3 mesas sentadas en la noche y un muchacho en una de ellas tuvo que subir y obtener menús 3 veces ya que el personal seguÃa jugando con ellos. Las apuestas eran deliciosas, por lo tanto las 2 estrellas, pero todo lo demás estaba muy por debajo de la par para un llamado restaurante 4 ☆. Incluso el pudÃn salió quemado y la roulade apenas se veÃa en los platos que eran tan pequeños. Nos sentimos muy decepcionados e insultados por nuestra experiencia.

05/02/2025: Este fue el mejor lugar para un delicioso capuchino, una vista increÃble y el pastel de cereza de almendra más celestial.
La mejor parte fue el servicio - Pablo fue más allá para asegurar que disfrutamos de nuestra estancia e incluso dio recomendaciones para asegurar que disfrutamos de los mejores lugares de la ciudad. Gracias Corrib house! ¡Volveremos!
