05/06/2026: The place was nice and the waitresses were very friendly and helpful. I had a fish and chips that was huge, and the fries were good but the fish didn’t taste like much, and the batter wasn’t cooked enough, so it was a bit raw and soggy.

24/07/2026: Went for lunch, had gluten free fish and chips! They had separate fryer and separate batter so that was lovely. Great service and fun atmosphere. Pretty bar too. They have live music twice today.
24/07/2026: It wasn't too bad. I chose the only vegan option I could see - cauliflower korma. Did I want chicken with it? No, but I suppose they have to upsell.

Two appetizers, three entrees, three desserts - we couldn’t even choose favorites because they were all so tasty. Highly recommend the mushrooms, buffalo wings, lamb, and mashed potatoes/gravy. Could drink that gravy with a straw!

01/04/2026: Delicious vegetarian dishes, a spectacular flat white, friendly people, and it would have been worth stopping here just for the excellent flapjack. Lovely, highly recommended, and a bit off the beaten track from Galway's tourist hotspots in the Latin Quarter!

04/06/2026: This hotel far exceeded our expectations for comfort, food and service. Free on site parking is always a bonus as well. The restaurant offers really great food and beverages too. Our only issue was rowdy children whose parents let run wild despite the best efforts of staff. The breakfast selection next morning was great and the pool and garden area too.
All in all a hotel worthy of a higher star 🌟 rating. Great value for money
01/06/2026: Beautiful hotel with amazing facilities. We were welcomed at the reception by Ivan who was extremely friendly and helpful. The price also includes a swimming pool, sauna and hot tubs, so it only added to the beautiful experience. We were extremely satisfied and we will definitely come back again.👍🏻

27/06/2026: Varied menu with nice food, the staff were all very pleasant. Nice atmosphere but the hot water tap in the toilet, including the accessible toilet, were far too high of a temperature.

12/05/2026: THE best strip sirloin I have ever had. The garlic butter, cooked perfectly, bacon, and pearl onions. Paul Hollywood could not have put together a better combo. This was a meal of pure bliss. I wanted more and sadly forgot my 2nd stomach.
The roasted chicken was very nice. Slightly overcooked however still tasty. The layered potatoe was very interesting. Lamination layers like I've never seen.
I highly recommend Kirby's. It was well worth it.

07/05/2026: The staff is very friendly, but unfortunately, the breakfast is very basic and repetitive; the bread and other items are dry. The advertised indoor pool is a public one, and swimming caps are mandatory. It's very noisy, as children's groups also use it for lessons, so it's not a relaxing place. The restaurant in the evening doesn't offer much choice and is a bit overpriced considering the portion size. The location is good; you can quickly reach the beach and the nearest bus stop in about 10 minutes.
11/01/2026: Great staff, lovely food, and amazing rooms. Treated my daughter like royalty when they found out it was her birthday.
