13/10/2026: Hi i was in the cellar bar Saturday evening gone 10/10/26 we came out to celebrate the results of my son passing his junior cert what was supposed to be a lovely evening turned into a disaster I ordered a steak so did my son and and the rest of the family ordered there meals a quarter way through my food i found a pubic hair or from a beard but it was a hair of some kind in my food I felt like vomiting so I asked a waitress to come and look obviously to do something about so she brought the plate to her manager african irish which was so ignorant any way the waitress brings me back the plate and said the manager said it was a mushroom strand I took up the rib and pulled it and it wouldn't break it was a hair any way i asked to speak to the manager and she said I'm not gonna change my decision you can eat it or not im not a manager or dont no managing skills but if I was working in a restaurant I wouldn't talk to my customers like that so she took the plate and brought it away she was being very rude I said being honest but I didn't eat that food there was a hair in it I'm not paying specifically for that meal but ill pay for the rest in which I did and I gave the bar man a tip she said to me your not welcome here any more and then when I was walking out the door there was a blonde hair lady that started waving her hands and screaming silently behind my back were my wife seen here i dont no who owns the cellar bar but I'd look into getting different manager and the rest of your staff was very nice except for that 1 blonde hair girl and the African irish lady she said I won't be welcoming you back dont worry love I wouldn't like to go back to a restaurant with vile woman and attitude like you have a look at the camera @cellar bar galway you will see what i mean thanks thats all I've to say

25/09/2026: Excellent food. Exactly the culinary delights you'd expect. Very friendly service.

21/09/2026: Delicious burgers, mac & cheese, and sides in a cool atmosphere. Food arrived quickly and fresh, and there's a bus stop right outside. The only downside: food prices were quite high, and at €7.80, the cider was clearly overpriced.

28/07/2026: I had the Tuna Melt, lovely. Very good service but this was just after the lunch period. Very friendly and very polite.

23/07/2026: A delicious brunch at this lovely café in Athlone. We ordered an iced coffee and a salmon bagel, and it was a great choice. The service was very friendly and attentive, and you could tell the food was fresh and very well prepared. A highly recommended spot for a relaxing and high-quality brunch. We'll definitely be back!

07/08/2026: Absolutely fantastic hotel , perfect for the Galway Cup , food amazing also Pool and gym and close to city and salt hill only 8mins drives. Love that they also have a sensory room ♥️🤝

16/07/2026: My holiday at Clybaun Hotel was fantastic! 🤩 The rooms were so comfortable, and the service was excellent. I loved the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. 😌 The location is brilliant too; there's a bus stop literally right outside with links to the city center! 🚌 Absolutely perfect stay. ✨

10/10/2026: My husband and I went to the disco for Ukrainians at Seven Bar on October 9th; we paid €35 ​​for admission, yet there weren't even any chairs! The sound quality was terrible, and DJ Barberina was rude. Don't invite her back—none of my friends were happy with it!

30/08/2026: We hadnt booked for Saturday evening but were lucky enough to get a table!. We had an amazing meal!! Our weekend break to Galway was special thanks to this restaurant..amazing service and great food!!

29/06/2026: The original Jemi Lighthouse is closed. The new place is called The Lighthouse and has no vegan food right now.

01/04/2026: Delicious vegetarian dishes, a spectacular flat white, friendly people, and it would have been worth stopping here just for the excellent flapjack. Lovely, highly recommended, and a bit off the beaten track from Galway's tourist hotspots in the Latin Quarter!

20/10/2026: Lovely Irish breakfast for a very affordable price, we were so full afterwards, we could barely move. Highly recommend!!

20/10/2026: We were so happy with our breakfast at Deelys yesterday, we came back again today! Don't expect gushing sweetness from this family run business, but you will get fast, efficient service and a smile. And the food was great, my favourite was the porridge with bananas, hazelnuts and honey. And a really good Americano. Honestly couldn't be happier.
