18/05/2025: Esperamos durante 1 hora para obtener 3 comidas simples. Otros, que vinieron mucho después de que nos fuimos mucho antes de que recibiera nuestra orden. No se ofrecen disculpas. Muy malas opciones para los vegetarianos, tuve que ir con ensalada de pollo / tocino sin la carne, y todavía se le cobró por el elemento de menú completo - sin descuento para la carne que no puedo comer! Muy decepcionante, nunca recomendaré a nadie que venga aquí.

17/05/2025: Called in for lunch on Sunday, staff were brilliant, very helpful, the food was absolutely amazing, we had the steak sandwich and the battered cod & chips, we will be calling in again soon, well worth the price,

13/05/2025: The food was pretty tasty and very well portioned. I thought everything was delicious and looked good. Aside from one waitress who seemed unfriendly and like she really didn't want to be there, the staff were very friendly and attentive too.

31/12/2024: Muy, muy decepcionado. Visita anualmente @xmas pero nunca más. Gnocchi no comestible, hamburguesas secas, patatas fritas tan fuerte rebotó cuando trató de comer con un tenedor, la merluza era horrible. Platos muy desnudos, sin ensalada de acompañamiento en cualquier plato. Los ñoquis solo tenían un pequeño trozo de pan de ajo, las porciones eran extremadamente pequeñas. No demasiado ocupado así que no hay excusa. Quedó esperando años para ordenar y de nuevo para pagar. Dije que la comida no era buena, pero le dije que no le diré disculpas al chef. No volveré.

08/10/2024: Good for a pint of Guinness to wind down the evening while sitting out front to watch the people. There are bouncers at the door checking ID's but they could clearly tell that I am definitely of age. Inside, loud with music at 8pm on a Saturday night. So it was outside with the pint glass and thankfully, no one smoking out there. Great to sit for an hour and watch the idiots peel out from Eyre Square in their fancy cars. And watch the taxis make the u-turn to the stand directly in front. And when someone did decide to light up, finish off the pint and head onwards. Lots of tourists in town this evening so it was busy all around.

08/03/2025: Ce n'était pas là où nous avions prévu de déjeuner mais je pense que nous aurions pu le regretter !!! Excellent accueil attentionné et chaleureux. Le service est au top !!! Les plats sont délicieux et copieux. C'était franchement l'endroit où il fallait s'arrêter et même la bière bien fraiche a fini de me convaincre !!! Un excellente endroit à découvrir !!!

17/03/2025: Ordered online for collection. Was given collection time of 18.15pm Arrived at supermacs at 6.05pm as had another order to place . Wasn't served till 6.20pm. Placed order stood aside for another 15 minutes waiting . Was given order and then I asked for my order placed for collection too, the pizza hadn't even been made yet . At this stage I was too annoyed to wait for them to cook the pizza plus my other food was going cold. I just said give me 2 burger meals instead. I was given burnt chicken goujons as compensation to which were inedible. ☆☆☆☆ update☆☆☆☆ Was given a €20 courtesy voucher as an apology dealt with efficiently and promptly. My next order was perfect on using said voucher , food was fresh, Piping hot and delivered within minutes.

20/03/2025: Los cafés se hacen uno por uno. Mi café llegó 10 minutos después que mis amigos. Pedí un reg latte, pero me trajeron uno helado. Tuve que esperar otros 5 minutos para un reg latte.

08/04/2025: I have the best time in supermacs, especially after a night out. A man named Armando works in this restaurant and he is a gent. He sorts you out whenever you need it and he is quick with his work. Every time i come in to this restaurant i expect to be fed and the food is beautiful. A large portion is actually a large portion and not a smaller portion. You get what you ask for and it unreal. Before i finish, i just want to let you know, Armando that works in supermacs is a man that will always approach you with a smile and is always interested with any news on a night out. Great man and I hope he is successful. Godbless

18/03/2025: Served by lovely Paul today. He was so kind to us. He told us about a horrible experience he had with a customer but he handled it with such grace and care. I think Paul doesn’t deserve anyone to be mean to him ever again. Fantastic service. Also chicken breast sandwich was amazing and the Fanta was so good. Love trip c.

15/05/2025: Very tasty good food and they are not like other fast food restaurants. Their ingredients are really high quality. The size of food for one person is almost like for two which is really good. I love the taste. Really you must try it.

25/04/2025: Great spot for chips and battered sausage on late night in Galways West End after a pub with music night out. Nice staff, funny late night customers.

03/12/2024: I was in here earlier today and I was absolutely disgusted at the way an older customer was treated! We were just finishing up our food when I heard a server raising her voice to an older lady sitting at the next table. The lady was waiting for her daughter before she ordered her food. She simply told the server that she was waiting for her daughter. The server aggressively told her "you cannot sit here until you have ordered your food". The lady tried explaining that she was waiting for her daughter. That wasn't enough... Another staff member came over telling the lady "you cannot sit here. That table is for people who have already ordered their food". So now there were two servers standing over her as if it wasn't embarrassing enough for her. All the nearby tables could hear them. The lady again tried explaining that she was just waiting for her daughter. These two staff members were so horrible to her. It was absolutely disgusting to see. The poor lady was absolutely mortified. There was another table at the wall that the people ordering could have sat at. I offered the lady our table as we were leaving. She seemed a lovely lady and visibly upset and embarrassed. I was genuinely upset myself for a good while after witnessing the way they treated her. Disgusting!!

06/05/2025: Went in a few weeks ago and ordered a Taco Fries. All of the lads were standing around scratching their balls, touching their trousers in some weird jerking way, opening the bins and grabbing rubbish and shoving it around without any real purpose. None of them washed their hands after. It was as if they were trying to get dirt on everybody's food. There were a load of kids there and all. I told them to keep the food, and that they were pure dirt.

10/07/2024: We visited from UK and was really shocking to see this was the only LGBTQ+ bar in Galway. Bar was very small and atmosphere was definitely off! However host and bar persons were brilliant! Music was available on request which is always fun and plenty to choose from on the cocktail menu

03/07/2024: From Canada, in Galway durin our spring break in March. I had horrible experience. Looked up gay bar. Excited to go on late aftenoon with my str8 brother in law. Just to be made fun and ridiculd by bad queen i guess hosting a str8 girls night. All for that and great for doing...but once we walked in, door not locked, NOT EVEN A SIGN OUTSIDE saying closed fir private event. Once i heard it say thats why door is closed...made me sooo pissed off at how you treat new guests. In my world, you put a sign on door saying private party. Not make fun of tourist who just wanted to go to safe gay place. I will NOT recommend this place, and hope someone will open another gay place to go...or at least fire that wannabe queen. She not even a princess.....just trash.

06/04/2025: Dillisk is inside the Harbour Hotel and a very welcoming place. Our first visit was on a rainy Irish morning after an overnight flight which left us weary and hungry. The kind and professional Grace and Lana provided us shelter, coffee and pastries while we awaited keys for our new flat at the docks. Since moving in we have happily returned for delightful and delicious lunches there and plan to return for dinner outdoors soon.

04/04/2025: Great food and service. Poor acoustics makes loud guests unbearable. It's bad enough to avoid altogether.
