23/07/2025: Had fabulous meal excellent menu choice and all our group was impressed, paired with excellent service - will be back. No additional costs for sides and great wine list.

21/07/2025: Great place, I had the fish platter of the day (seafood trio) and it was excellent!! The cheese and charcuterie platter is large and very good. We loved our evening. The drinks are good. Almost no tables available for walk-ins, so reserved

15/07/2025: Food tasted great. The ambiance was great. Bit on the pricey side. I didn't like that you had to order the sides separately. The service could've been better.

14/07/2025: Delicious food and super good service. Definitely recommend it. We had the oysters and they were fresh and tasty. The fish was crispy and perfectly cooked and it even came with a salad. I really appreciated both. The chowder was also good. We were a bit crunched on time but that was not an issue they brought our meal quickly and efficiently. Our Waiters were very nice as well.

25/07/2025: This is a really great spot due to the view but the service was crap. My food came before my beer. But the seafood chowder was delicious! I finished everything and then waited 35 minutes until I went to the bar to close my tab. The entire time the workers chatted at the bar completely ignoring everyone in the restaurant. Don’t recommend until they get professional staff members.

19/07/2025: Definitely a pub 👌 with a view on the roof top terrace and the lift to the top .Good selection of beers 🍻 👌 the Guinness was good 👍.

17/07/2025: Franchement , ambiance sympa , personnel sympathique … on a super bien mangé … on recommande pleinement… bien placé en ville … la musique pas trop forte ce qui rend ce moment très agréable et tout ça avec le sourire des serveurs

29/06/2025: No reservation. Welcomed and seated immediately. My husband had the burger and I had the beef and Guinness stew. Both were delicious as was the apple pie dessert that followed. Friendly staff. I would recommend and return!

08/07/2025: Visitamos este lugar después de haber pasado por este café más temprano ese mismo día y me gustó lo que vi. ¡¡¡Definitivamente no me decepcionó!!! Mi marido comió un wrap de pollo muy rico y el relleno era abundante. Comí un bollo de frutas que estaba muy fresco y sabroso y me dijeron que todo se hornea en casa todos los días, lo cual es evidente. El té de hojas también es un buen detalle. El servicio fue amable y la cafetería tiene un ambiente relajado y agradable con amplios asientos. ¡Sin duda volveré la próxima vez que esté en Galway y sin duda lo recomendaré a cualquiera!

27/06/2025: What a NEAT store! So many specialty foods and, though it was pretty crowded, you could eat right there.

22/06/2025: Coffee and food are nice. Lovely selection of local food. Sat outside and in the time we where here no one cleared or checked the tables. Counter staff seemed more interested in talking about hair cuts. Toilets need attention, they have had little cleaning.

31/12/2024: Muy, muy decepcionado. Visita anualmente @xmas pero nunca más. Gnocchi no comestible, hamburguesas secas, patatas fritas tan fuerte rebotó cuando trató de comer con un tenedor, la merluza era horrible. Platos muy desnudos, sin ensalada de acompañamiento en cualquier plato. Los ñoquis solo tenían un pequeño trozo de pan de ajo, las porciones eran extremadamente pequeñas. No demasiado ocupado así que no hay excusa. Quedó esperando años para ordenar y de nuevo para pagar. Dije que la comida no era buena, pero le dije que no le diré disculpas al chef. No volveré.

08/10/2024: Good for a pint of Guinness to wind down the evening while sitting out front to watch the people. There are bouncers at the door checking ID's but they could clearly tell that I am definitely of age. Inside, loud with music at 8pm on a Saturday night. So it was outside with the pint glass and thankfully, no one smoking out there. Great to sit for an hour and watch the idiots peel out from Eyre Square in their fancy cars. And watch the taxis make the u-turn to the stand directly in front. And when someone did decide to light up, finish off the pint and head onwards. Lots of tourists in town this evening so it was busy all around.

20/05/2025: i had wanted to order 4 cookies and a portion of icecream, to start, the worker on the phone was very aggressive and impatient. then when my cookies do arrive, two of them are smushed up and very badly burned. this is a first time thing and i was very shocked.

16/07/2025: 30 euros más dos comidas. Los servidores eran groseros y los chips crudos. Absolutamente repugnante no volvería. La calidad ha ido en los últimos años. Debería haber ido a McDonald's

11/07/2025: Zero customer service, I was polite as I’m aware its not easy be all smiles and happy all the time in this industry, asked if I could get a little extra sauce on my burger, not the biggest ask just about got a “ya” back and did not get what I asked for.

20/05/2025: Just don't order the wings. They are basically pigeon wings with mayo, not bleu cheese as stated. However, the hotel is wonderful and the chowder was very good. The breakfast is decent. But get there early, for they run out of potatoes and eggs. You really don't want to miss the eggs; they're perfect.

Nuestra primera visita fue en una mañana irlandesa lluviosa después de un vuelo nocturno que nos dejó cansados y hambrientos. Grace y Lana amable y profesional nos proporcionó refugio, café y pasteles mientras esperábamos las llaves para nuestro nuevo piso en los muelles. Desde que nos mudamos, hemos regresado felices para deliciosos y deliciosos almuerzos allí y planeamos regresar pronto para cenar al aire libre.

10/07/2024: We visited from UK and was really shocking to see this was the only LGBTQ+ bar in Galway. Bar was very small and atmosphere was definitely off! However host and bar persons were brilliant! Music was available on request which is always fun and plenty to choose from on the cocktail menu

03/07/2024: From Canada, in Galway durin our spring break in March. I had horrible experience. Looked up gay bar. Excited to go on late aftenoon with my str8 brother in law. Just to be made fun and ridiculd by bad queen i guess hosting a str8 girls night. All for that and great for doing...but once we walked in, door not locked, NOT EVEN A SIGN OUTSIDE saying closed fir private event. Once i heard it say thats why door is closed...made me sooo pissed off at how you treat new guests. In my world, you put a sign on door saying private party. Not make fun of tourist who just wanted to go to safe gay place. I will NOT recommend this place, and hope someone will open another gay place to go...or at least fire that wannabe queen. She not even a princess.....just trash.
