09/02/2025: El café y todo lo demás en este pequeño café es absolutamente increíble. Hacen pequeñas quiches maravillosas y un montón de pasteles y postres. También hay una gran selección de comidas para llevar. Todo tiene un precio muy razonable y el personal es maravilloso.

16/01/2025: Went in here last week to get a coffee and a sandwich, the atmosphere was pleasant. It was very affordable. The sandwich tasted better as its homemade compared to big retail chains. Well done to the people in gourmet who make these amazing sandwiches.

14/03/2025: Super disappointed NOT a place catering for locals filled to the brim with tourists . Seats are uncomfortable and the table layout is awkward. Lunch menu only starts at 13:30 which is fine but the Brunch menu is just egg egg egg. No wonder the water glasses smelled like egg… what really confirmed my initial feelings is when the waitress/manageress told us if we wanted decaf coffee maybe we were looking for a coffee shop and not a restaurant.. how rude Sorry but locals should Take their money elsewhere

14/03/2025: I don’t even know to express how insanely delicious this food was. I’m not from Ireland, but I wish I was so I could eat at this restaurant all the time. Not to mention their cheesecake is to die for. I would give it a 6 out of 5 stars if I could!!!!!! Please eat here

31/12/2024: Muy, muy decepcionado. Visita anualmente @xmas pero nunca más. Gnocchi no comestible, hamburguesas secas, patatas fritas tan fuerte rebotó cuando trató de comer con un tenedor, la merluza era horrible. Platos muy desnudos, sin ensalada de acompañamiento en cualquier plato. Los ñoquis solo tenían un pequeño trozo de pan de ajo, las porciones eran extremadamente pequeñas. No demasiado ocupado así que no hay excusa. Quedó esperando años para ordenar y de nuevo para pagar. Dije que la comida no era buena, pero le dije que no le diré disculpas al chef. No volveré.

08/10/2024: Good for a pint of Guinness to wind down the evening while sitting out front to watch the people. There are bouncers at the door checking ID's but they could clearly tell that I am definitely of age. Inside, loud with music at 8pm on a Saturday night. So it was outside with the pint glass and thankfully, no one smoking out there. Great to sit for an hour and watch the idiots peel out from Eyre Square in their fancy cars. And watch the taxis make the u-turn to the stand directly in front. And when someone did decide to light up, finish off the pint and head onwards. Lots of tourists in town this evening so it was busy all around.

30/03/2025: Staff are very welcoming and friendly and service is promt. Food is very good but quality of breakfast sausage could be better. Other than that it is a fantastic spot .

08/03/2025: Ce n'était pas là où nous avions prévu de déjeuner mais je pense que nous aurions pu le regretter !!! Excellent accueil attentionné et chaleureux. Le service est au top !!! Les plats sont délicieux et copieux. C'était franchement l'endroit où il fallait s'arrêter et même la bière bien fraiche a fini de me convaincre !!! Un excellente endroit à découvrir !!!

28/02/2025: We went here for lunch and weren’t disappointed. My husband and l had Cod and chips and they were delicious. Lovely relaxing place and the man who served us was such a friendly guy. I would recommend EJ kings to everyone.

02/03/2025: I ordered from this place a few times, and while the wait times were always over 90 min, I was willing to be patient. Unfortunately, my fourth order gave me food poisoning. Definitely won’t be ordering again.

20/03/2025: This place deserves 0 stars. The main old lady staff with blonde hair deserves to be humbled. We walked in, she rolled her eyes and then was hovering over us when we sat down as if we were going to steal something? Idk if she is a biach or r#cist because it was me and my friends and we're not irish, either way, she was so unaccetably rude. She told my friend that she could get her own cheesecake. "um you can get your own cheesecake the fridge is open" she said after my friend politely asked "can I serve it myself or do you guys prepare it". We even left because the atmosphere was super hostile and uncomfortable. Never coming back here again,my stomach churns even walking by this place. Hope the old lady goes to sleep with bed bugs.

10/07/2024: We visited from UK and was really shocking to see this was the only LGBTQ+ bar in Galway. Bar was very small and atmosphere was definitely off! However host and bar persons were brilliant! Music was available on request which is always fun and plenty to choose from on the cocktail menu

03/07/2024: From Canada, in Galway durin our spring break in March. I had horrible experience. Looked up gay bar. Excited to go on late aftenoon with my str8 brother in law. Just to be made fun and ridiculd by bad queen i guess hosting a str8 girls night. All for that and great for doing...but once we walked in, door not locked, NOT EVEN A SIGN OUTSIDE saying closed fir private event. Once i heard it say thats why door is closed...made me sooo pissed off at how you treat new guests. In my world, you put a sign on door saying private party. Not make fun of tourist who just wanted to go to safe gay place. I will NOT recommend this place, and hope someone will open another gay place to go...or at least fire that wannabe queen. She not even a princess.....just trash.

03/12/2024: I was in here earlier today and I was absolutely disgusted at the way an older customer was treated! We were just finishing up our food when I heard a server raising her voice to an older lady sitting at the next table. The lady was waiting for her daughter before she ordered her food. She simply told the server that she was waiting for her daughter. The server aggressively told her "you cannot sit here until you have ordered your food". The lady tried explaining that she was waiting for her daughter. That wasn't enough... Another staff member came over telling the lady "you cannot sit here. That table is for people who have already ordered their food". So now there were two servers standing over her as if it wasn't embarrassing enough for her. All the nearby tables could hear them. The lady again tried explaining that she was just waiting for her daughter. These two staff members were so horrible to her. It was absolutely disgusting to see. The poor lady was absolutely mortified. There was another table at the wall that the people ordering could have sat at. I offered the lady our table as we were leaving. She seemed a lovely lady and visibly upset and embarrassed. I was genuinely upset myself for a good while after witnessing the way they treated her. Disgusting!!

17/02/2025: Coffees and food were fine but the bathroom is a disaster broken seat and no loo paper totally unacceptable

21/12/2024: Comida fresca de excelente calidad, gran selección. Gran personal, servicio, lugar encantador. Generosas ollas de té de hojas frescas. Volveré.

18/03/2025: Served by lovely Paul today. He was so kind to us. He told us about a horrible experience he had with a customer but he handled it with such grace and care. I think Paul doesn’t deserve anyone to be mean to him ever again. Fantastic service. Also chicken breast sandwich was amazing and the Fanta was so good. Love trip c.

16/02/2025: Jessie is super helpful! My twin boys like have mango flavor ice cream, Jessie recommended put mango syrup on the top. They are very happy! He is so friendly and we thanks him very much! We will be back again. Thanks Jessie to make their days so special!

09/03/2025: Ordered online for collection. Was given collection time of 18.15pm Arrived at supermacs at 6.05pm as had another order to place . Wasn't served till 6.20pm. Placed order stood aside for another 15 minutes waiting . Was given order and then I asked for my order placed for collection too, the pizza hadn't even been made yet . At this stage I was too annoyed to wait for them to cook the pizza plus my other food was going cold. I just said give me 2 burger meals instead. I was given burnt chicken goujons as compensation to which were inedible.
