31/10/2024: Great Irish pub. We just had a beer and snacks but what we had was delicious. We ordered some fries, autumn vegetables and bread. Very tasty.
30/10/2024: I usually take visitors there as the food is good and the service fine. However today we were highly disappointed when they would only take a few of us, leaving 3 not to be seated, they had the space but didn’t want to use the spare tables in case other walk ins would come in! How ridiculous, they lost 15 lunches. The waitress was just not pleasant and clearly didn’t want to fit us in. Went across the road and had a a lovely meal.

29/10/2024: We usually go to An Tobar Nua in Galway but it was closed, we were delighted to find this place and had a delicious lunch… only disappointment was that missed breakfast by 5mins!!!

31/10/2024: I had the Salthill squash salad with vegan feta, and it was absolutely gorgeous! Exactly what I didn't know I needed. Highly recommend this cafe, its a cosy place to hide away from the busy city streets, the waitress is a sweetheart, and the food is really nutritious, heartwarming, satisfying food. I also ordered an Americano which was very tasty 😋
18/10/2024: Wonderful breakfast in a cozy atmosphere. I had the pancakes, which were absolutely delicious. Not too sweet and generously garnished with a flavourful fruity-sour compote, walnuts and yoghurt. Very friendly staff as well, an all around good experience! I will be returning soon!

The Huntsman Inn

16/11/2024: We didn’t stay overnight, but we did visit the pub, and it was fantastic! The bartender was incredibly kind and helped me out with my drinks. I ended up with a couple of rounds of some great whisky and a delicious Heineken.
The pub itself is gorgeous. It was packed, but not overly so, and the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable. The music was just right—not too loud, so we could enjoy it while still having a conversation.
The staff were all kind, super fast, and on top of everything. Honestly, 10/10 service and experience. If you’re in the area, this pub is definitely worth a visit!

11/11/2024: Truly the best fish and chips. Ordered the cod and a regular chip with tartar sauce. Order at the front counter and they will bring it out to you're table when it's ready. Friendly staff and a laid back atmosphere. Food was extremely fresh and well prepared.
10/11/2024: Wonderful fresh cod, huge fries portion. Couldn’t finish it. The sauces were a bit diluted, but all in all amazing value for the price.

17/11/2024: Had a fantastic time at Buskers the other week. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the drinks were top-notch. A young blond bartender (I think he said he was from Cork) really stood out with his friendly and efficient service. He made the night even more enjoyable with his welcoming demeanor.
I’ll definitely be back—highly recommend!
12/11/2024: A great bar but attracts a younger crowd. Plenty of seating areas and staff are very friendly.

03/11/2024: Food was not good. Seafood platter was a waste of money. Everything tasted like from the supermarket was very disappointed. Chowder however was good.
Service was not really friendly and absent, had to chaise them to get the bill...
Floor was sticky everywhere, didn't feel comfortable to sit there.
01/11/2024: Lovely setting with nice buzzing atmosphere. The maître d' was a bit stuffy but the waiting staff were fab. Had steaks and duck. My husband's steak was too rare for medium, however my daughters was good. I like that the cost includes sides, and they were generous. I had the half duck that was very tasty but would have been even nicer if the skin had been rendered more and made more crispy. We had a lovely time.

20/10/2024: Very friendly welcome and good service . Atmosphere was a bit flat (Friday night) . Fish casserole under seasoned and underwhelming . Rib eye burger was tasty .

22/10/2024: Great place for sports. Great covered and heated beer garden. Food options are good, particularly during the week. Red curry was great. Friendly staff. Guinness could be better but plenty of other drink options. The espresso martini was delicious.
