23/09/2025: In the evenings, there's great live music. Beer selection as you'd expect from a pub.

22/09/2025: Solid Irish pub and restaurant! Stopped in for some pints of Guinness and to hear some Irish music. Decided to have dinner in the attached restaurant downstairs, glad we did. It was fantastic! I ordered the mussels and my hubby got the roasted chicken. The mussels and the broth were amazingly tasty, fresh. The chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. An excellent evening in the Latin quarter.

The highlight is the steak, simply wonderful – tasty, well-prepared, and perfectly cooked. Plus, the bar stays open until 2 a.m., perfect for those who like to stay out late. It's definitely worth a visit! The Dáil Bar in Galway is a fantastic place to enjoy a night out. The atmosphere is great and welcoming, perfect whether you're with friends or just relaxing on your own. The highlight is definitely the steak – absolutely delicious, well-prepared, and cooked to perfection. Another big plus is that the bar stays open until 2 a.m., ideal for those who love a late-night spot. Definitely worth a visit!

10/09/2025: Excellent food, friendly staff, and a welcoming pub. There were 11 of us, and everyone was satisfied. The fish soup and vegetable rice were also excellent.

01/10/2025: We traveled in a group through Ireland and the room we were assigned was very old.

10/09/2025: stopped for lunch while stopping in Galway (a must see town) the options for pubs, restaurants, take-aways are many. We chose Busker Brownes because the look & the menu - we were NOT disappointed - SPA007

26/09/2025: Lovely staff- thank you! I was left hungry though...! Food arrived, tasted grand but portion size was TINY- and I'd consider myself someone with a very small appetite. To charge €17 for a vegetarian (vegan?) dish and for it to be SO small feels a little bit cheeky.

22/09/2025: By far the best coffee we've had in a long time, and the vegan scones were also delicious. Plus, the staff is very friendly :)

24/08/2025: Popped in for some lunch on 23/8/25 around 12:45pm. Came directly off a 2 and a half hour train, ordered some food, lovely polite lady server with glasses. Went to use the bathroom and upon washing my hands, a cleaner girl came in. I nicely asked her how to use the soap (I can be a bit dim) and she told me how. I thanked her but she didn't respond to that, not even a "you're welcome/no problem" - I brushed it off, no big deal. As I was washing my hands, she started cleaning the mirror next to me - I'd no problems there. I needed to brush my hair and needed to use the mirror in front of me. (The mirror next to me was in front of the other sink I wasn't using - two sinks and two mirrors in bathroom). As I took my brush out she just stood there staring at me, I nicely told her I'd be really quick and she stormed out of the room in a huff and puff. Absolutely out of order. I'm a paying customer, am I not allowed fix my hair for a minute? Never had such an odd, uncomfortable encounter anywhere haha. The toilets were quiet and completely clean so I double don't understand the attitude. Food was great though.

28/08/2025: Delicious chowder, excellent piri prawns, and a fantastic club sandwich all served with smiles from friendly staff. Great cocktails as well!! Definitely worth a visit.

21/09/2025: Lovely restaurant, staff are friendly and helpful. Great fish restaurant, good menu, lots to choose from. Four of us had a fabulous meal, starters, Main and dessert, all were delicious. We had lovely white wine with our meal. Would definitely recommend Oscars, especially for fish lovers.

24/09/2025: What can I say. Saw the great reviews and thought it would be a great experience. I ordered a Burger as people seemed to Rave about them. It was 13.50 for what I can only describe as 2 American style greasy patties of poor quality in a bun with very little to write home about. Suddenly McDonalds and Supermacs seem like gourmet restaurants. The plain chips at 5 Euro were plain but crisp and hot so it's only saving grace. Paid 50c for a pint of Miwadi orange which would be ok if they added a little more orange. SO disappointed with the food after so many good reviews. Certainly one of the poorest experiences I've ever had in Galway.

20/09/2025: Probably the best place in Galway. The sticky chicken was TO DIE FOR and the Brie balls were delicious. The cocktails were super tasty as well. Also, the staff members were really friendly and you didn’t have to wait long to get served. I can really recommend this place.

16/09/2025: We had two dinners during our stay in Galway. The dishes were well-prepared and plentiful, typical Irish, just like the restaurant. We were very satisfied!
