23/10/2025: Unfortunately stopped in and got terribly rude service from our waitress. Don’t know her name, she was of Indian descent. Off the bat she clearly didn’t want to seat us and gave us an odd look when we ordered a water (because we asked for it after she finished taking drink orders). She then proceeded to speak rudely of us behind our backs when we asked for the check even though we could clearly see her doing so. Maybe take the day off if you’re having a bad day instead of taking it out on your guests. Have gotten wonderful service everywhere else we’ve been aside from this spot, so probably just a bad egg with her. Cheers.

22/10/2025: A typical pub on one of Galway's central streets, the restaurant is on the ground floor, and we were seated immediately. For dinner for two, we ordered the soup of the day, beef and Guinness stew, and sautéed mushrooms on the side, and everything was incredibly good. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the waitresses were very attentive and prompt. We returned the next day for a beer in the bar area, where a live band was playing. A very pleasant experience.

01/11/2025: Enjoyed a wonderful lunch today in the company of other travelers in this exciting city of Galway. It was a nice surprise to stumble upon a restaurant that catered to my dietary needs. The menu wasn't overwhelming and there was a nice variety of choices to choose from. I ordered the Terryland Reuben with a vegan cheese which was VERY good and afterwards enjoyed a complimentary slice of vegan cake that was absolutely lovely. The portions were perfect! I actually left with the cake in a take out container. If you're looking for a quaint and affordable restaurant to enjoy a vegan meal, this is the place!

30/10/2025: We had an incredibly delicious meal here. Finding good restaurants isn't always easy for vegans. And the chai was so good! Highly recommended for visitors to Galway.

16/10/2025: Really disappointing experience. My partner and I wanted to treat ourselves to a nice meal on a recent trip to Galway and the menu looked ideal. In fairness the starters were both really nice (hence the 2 stars), although they were a bit tight with the crab however it was the main courses that were the biggest let down, in particular with the descriptions on the menu. I ordered the crispy haddock with patatas bravas and it was nothing more than glorified fish and chips. The potatoes were simply small wedges that were bone dry. My partner ordered the scallop gratin with bisque and unfortunately there was very little bisque and no part of the dish could be described as gratin. When the waiter came and I asked if everything was ok with our food, I gave some honest, but very polite feedback and from that moment he became very defensive and his attitude immediately changed. Unfortunately it put a sour end to the meal and we quickly asked for the bill. I wouldn’t return nor recommend.

16/10/2025: Hidden gem. Fresh, innovative flavor combinations, great vibes, and an overall wonderful experience. If you love seafood don't let the lack of online menu or reservations scare you off!

20/10/2025: The food here was great! The fish tasted very fresh, and our waitress, Alison M. was incredible. At the end of dinner, when we asked for other local recommendations, she took the time to write down a well thought out list of near by breakfast/dinner options for the remainder of our vacation. She was a great host and I will definitely plan to come back next time we are in Galway.

14/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had my partner’s surprise 40th birthday here over the weekend, and it was absolutely amazing! The venue was perfect for our group of around 50 people — just the right size and such a lovely atmosphere. I was dealing with Niamh in the lead-up, and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made the whole planning process so easy. The food on the night was fabulous — the platters were huge and everyone was raving about how good everything was! They even let us bring in our own trad music, which made the night really special. The whole team were so friendly and accommodating from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough for any celebration — we’ll definitely be back!!

22/10/2025: Location was wonderful. the staff was very kind and tried to be as helpful as possible… Rooms were very outdated, extremely dusty/musty, beds very uncomfortable, Wi-Fi didn’t work half the time & AC was broken with inability to be fixed. The room also smelled terribly of a nursing home which did not dissipate at all with our windows open for two days.

21/10/2025: Such a great spot! I was visiting Galway for a few days with my family, and we could not have picked a better location. All the staff were so kind. Henrique at reception in particular was incredibly helpful and very fun to converse with.

16/10/2025: This place was so fun to enjoy for a night. The staff was attentive and friendly and the crowd was very energetic with the music. We very much enjoyed our night here.

16/10/2025: This place was one of our favourite stops on our Galway pub crawl. The vibes were HIGH and the acoustic performers were absolutely brilliant and got everyone out on the dance floor with their mix of songs. Special shoutout to the fantastic CARA on bar who made hands down one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had in my life! She was so kind, beautiful and talented with the cocktails she deserves all the praise in the world! Thanks for making our 1 night in Galway so special!

06/10/2025: Don't waste your money. Food was terrible and obviously chips were just frozen from a bag. Staff were barely out of school and had the social skills to match. Rude and didnt smile or make eye contact, one was even vaping as we paid our bill. Seems like a tourist trap because of the building but there were so many other places with vastly better food and service, go there instead.

03/11/2025: Before I get into it - floor staff were very good. Bar staff stood and talked so no odds. Music very loud - listening to loud rap whilst trying to eat and enjoy the evening. Ordered Burger and Wings. Burger bun fell apart upon its arrival ( dont think they made any effort to heat the bun). Very greasy. Cheese also a little cold but melted in parts. Wings...swimming...swimming in sauce. Ive seen this type of thing elsewhere in US etc. Paying premium prices for frozen chicken Wings swimming in sauce: cant taste the chicken...just mouth full of sauce. Didnt finish it. Felt sick leaving. Understand some ppl will just love this...but i want to enjoy my food, not drink cheesy hot suace. Also, management please could you do something about the absolute pong of weed. Im all for doing what one wants but I dont want to smelling that crap whilst paying 30 quid for food. YEP - Paid over 30 quid for two mains and both were crap. This place is a rich man's Superman's.

20/09/2025: Saturday 30th August 2025 had the pleasure of enjoying bottomless brunch to celebrate my daughter turning 21. From the moment we were seated we were looked after so we'll by all your staff. One server Ruth was fantastic she is a treasure. The food was unreal. We will be back again soon thank you for such incredible cocktails, food and 10/10 hospitality.

07/09/2025: Great food for large numbers and great service . Only thing that needs improving would be the cleanliness of the bathrooms . They should be attended more regulary
