27/04/2025: Situado en el centro de killarney. Parece cualquier otro pub / restaurante desde el exterior, pero es el interior lo que lo distingue. Estábamos buscando un almuerzo ligero y nos quedamos impresionados con la elección que se ofrece. Dos miembros serviciales del personal de guardia que nos atendieron muy bien. excelente comida y dri nk que tenía un precio razonable. Volveré.

02/05/2025: Cerrado mientras estaba en línea dijo que estaba abierto. Muy desagradable bienvenida por el propietario que estaba limpiando y provocativamente dijo que no todo en la vida sucede en línea. No se recomienda!

10/04/2025: Servicio de primera calidad y lo más importante, comida de primera calidad. Probablemente uno de los mejores lugares en los que he comido. La baguette de pollo es mi favorita. Además el Guinness es 10 / 10. Gracias a Carmel & Barth & staff.

01/04/2025: I decided to bring myself on a solo date for dinner in Jacks. It was daunting going solo but I had the loveliest experience. The waiting staff made me so welcome and were attentive without being invasive, the food was lovely and they accommodated a special order. It was made even more special by the magical piano playin of JP, a pure joy and a gentleman. JP plays here Thur- Sun and OMG is he worth the visit to hear. Oh and the view from the restaurant onto the sea is AMAZING. I will be back again for sure, again and again.

30/05/2025: Such a lovely cafe in Waterville. Fluffy pancakes, delicious cooked breakfast and delicious granola bowls. We’ve visited for lunch previously which was also fantastic. Friendly service and great coffee.

25/05/2025: My mom and I stopped into this place and it was so cute. It’s facing the water and we had a great view by the window. The food was amazing, we both got toasties and it came with a side salad and chips. Great cafe to stop by when on a roadtrip!

03/08/2025: We had a lovely dinner at The Lounge at Ballybunion and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The menu had plenty of choice, with something to suit everyone. The food was delicious — hearty portions, fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced. The Guinness was also excellent. The relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy a proper sit-down meal without feeling rushed. It’s clear that this is a place where locals and visitors alike feel at home. Highly recommend The Lounge for a family-friendly meal in Ballybunion — we’ll definitely be back.

19/07/2025: Arrived for a meal. Hadn’t been here for a number of years and was looking forward to a relaxing meal overlooking the course. When we arrived there were plenty of tables we would have liked but were told they wanted to keep us at one end of the restaurant and gave us a table directly under a TV which was far from relaxing. We moved to another table near but still amongst a crowd so did not get the relaxing experience we hoped for!!

22/08/2025: Went for dinner. Charming young waiter took my order. The cramped room was full, he was on his own and handled it well. My order was slow to appear and honestly I wish it hadn't. I had ordered a half lobster with boulangère potatoes and broccoli. The lobster was not fresh but from frozen, from a supermarket I suspect. The boulangère potatoes were soggy and extremely salty. The overworked waiter was the only positive element of this dining experience. Avoid if you like good food.

17/08/2025: My wife and I had monkfish. Both portions were stringy, tough and tasteless, obviously over-cooked. Of all fish, monkfish is the most sensitive to bad cooking and this was the poorest I have ever eaten. We complained to the young waiter but heard nothing back.

09/07/2025: Está bien si tienes hambre. Hay mucho para elegir, pero los precios son razonables. Mucho espacio para sentarse y comer.

15/06/2025: Visité aquí muchas veces y nunca he tenido una mala experiencia. La comida es deliciosa, el personal siempre servicial y de buen ánimo. Cuando estás en Killarney es una visita obligada.

21/05/2025: Tuvimos una maravillosa segunda experiencia en el restaurante de alta cocina de este encantador hotel. El personal era eficiente y servicial con nuestras elecciones de comida y a todos les encantó su comida. Las bebidas también fueron bien presentadas.

06/07/2025: There was no proper menu, we had to walk up and look ourselves. We asked the waitress what the desserts were and she left out the fact that there was a chocolate brownie available( there was only 4/5 desserts.) My beef was too chewy, presentation was quite poor. I will say that the pub has a great atmosphere, but as far as the restaurant goes - I wouldn't recommend.

26/05/2025: This was a quick stop while visiting the Ring of Kerry. Nice place. Had a coffee here and it was good. Staff was really lovely. There's a museum next to it but didn't have time to visit.

08/09/2025: Incredible, almost magical spot ! Great breakfast, incredible service. Rooms are bright and clean. Step out to great views and walks or take a short drive to local sights or towns.
