27/04/2025: Situado en el centro de killarney. Parece cualquier otro pub / restaurante desde el exterior, pero es el interior lo que lo distingue. Estábamos buscando un almuerzo ligero y nos quedamos impresionados con la elección que se ofrece. Dos miembros serviciales del personal de guardia que nos atendieron muy bien. excelente comida y dri nk que tenía un precio razonable. Volveré.

01/05/2025: Nous nous sommes rendus dans ce restaurant suivant les avis dans trip advisor. Accueil inexistente a l'entrée, et Accueil très désagréable à l'intérieur. Nous sommes partis immédiatement.

21/04/2025: Personal muy grosero y antipático, no muy acogedor. He comido aquí en numerosas ocasiones, pero tristemente mi reciente visita no voy a volver debido a la trabajadora anciana desagradable.

21/03/2025: Overall, a good pub but more of a “hotel tourist” sort of place and not typical for a good Irish pub. The menu is fairly good, and includes several vegetarian options, like a veggie burger, mushroom pasta, a Caesar salad, and grilled vegetables. They were out of Murphy’s stout, which surprised me, but I had read previous reviews about them being out of dark beers completely in the past. (What?? A pub that’s out of a favorite local beer?? Unheard of…) Obviously, they have not fixed that issue! Our service was good. We had good meals. The seafood chowder was probably the best that I have had in Ireland so far. Prices are high, but that is to be expected for this area with all of the tourists. If you are looking for an authentic Irish pub here, though, check out some other options.

19/03/2025: Habíamos visitado Colgan’s cuando nos alojamos en Muckross Park Hotel hace algunos años y realmente disfrutamos, en particular los bailarines y la música en vivo, así que decidimos reservar una mesa para la noche del día de Patrick en nuestra última visita. ¡Fue muy decepcionante! No había bailarines ni música, de hecho ni siquiera cualquier decoración... ¡no sabrías que era el día de Patrick! El ambiente era cero. Pedimos, comimos y nos fuimos en 45 minutos y nos dirigimos de vuelta a la ciudad para continuar las celebraciones en los pubs allí que todos tenían música en vivo. El único punto bueno que podría mencionar es que la comida estaba bien, pero la visita se arruinó al no tener ambiente. No recomendaría y no volvería de nuevo en nuestros muchos chalecos a Killarney.

24/05/2025: Acabamos de llegar a la casa de Eva y decidimos probarlo y estamos muy contentos de que lo hicimos: la comida y el servicio eran geniales. Al ser un bar y un restaurante temíamos que pudiera ser ruidoso o tener televisores por todas partes, pero afortunadamente no lo hizo, tenía un ambiente encantador y tranquilo y nosotros y nuestros compañeros comensales pudimos tener conversaciones sin tener que luchar contra ningún ruido de fondo fuerte. La comida está todo recién preparado y delicioso. Esta joya de un lugar merece una visita si usted está en la zona.

12/05/2025: This was our best food experience in Ireland so far! The owner served us and was so accommodating and welcoming! We had the pan fried hake and it was so delicious! They were open on a Monday when google said they were closed. Sooo good!

26/03/2025: Food was beyond fantastic. Honestly we were surprised that we had some of the best pasta we had ever had in this hotel restaurant in Tralee. The cannelloni was absolutely to die for. Drink options were varied and extensive. Would love to come back here if only for the food.

24/01/2025: Arrived at this restaurant after walking out of Gallys where we were kept waiting twenty minutes and still nobody came to take our order in an empty restaurant so left.Food was amazing and Service was excellent, very efficient waitresses who were friendly and attentive.Food was beautiful, steak sandwich was very tasty and nice to find a strip loin steak in my steak sandwich and not grizzle like some places ,Guinness was good ,my Partner had Chicken which she enjoyed and everything was served warm and fresh.The cheesecake desert was the only dull moment ,a bit tasteless and if not for the caramel sauce would have been brutal .Nice to come out midweek and get nice decent food and drink with proper service.Menu selection is far superior to Gallys with alot more choice and better value.

09/05/2025: A really beautiful hotel in the old style, we had a very large, beautiful room with a luxury bathroom, the restaurant was unfortunately a bit stuck in the old style and therefore had nothing for us vegetarians, but the barmaid was very friendly. We slept well and received a friendly welcome, I would come again.

17/04/2025: Guinness was absolutely top top and staff couldnt be nicer but the Food was dissappointing.... The Chef doesnt understand the Vegeterian concept.

10/02/2025: This restaurant was actually recommended to us by a fisherman. There’s a restaurant part in the back and both times we were there, we could enjoy great music with local musicians sitting in the front area. Food was good as well and price-wise they were a bit cheaper than the others. The staff was also just amazing and we really had a great time there!

15/05/2025: I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the food at Marguerite's. I ordered a Caesar salad for the steep price of 17,95 €—the chicken was overcooked, and the salad was drenched in dressing. Normally, I wouldn’t mind a generous amount of sauce, but this time it was a bit overwhelming. Additionally, there were quite a few flies. While the weather was beautiful and the open doors created a pleasant atmosphere, having flies buzzing around while eating wasn’t ideal. That said, the service was lovely. I just think a bit more attention to presentation and the preparation of certain dishes would go a long way. Edit: My grandmother, who has celiac disease, had an allergic reaction after eating at the restaurant. I would strongly advise others to be cautious about potential cross-contamination.
