The best restaurantsof irish in Kerry

01/07/2025: Had food here twice while in Dingle. It was delicious and the helpings were generous. We didn't have a reservation. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was moderately price. Service was very quick despite being busy. I would highly recommend here for a yummy dinner while in Dingle. They had daily special menu and there were options for vegetarian and specific dietary requirements.

18/07/2025: We go to Ashes roughly 1-2 times a year, and today was off the charts good Always delicious, and just the BEST seafood chowder in the region, but the specials today were outstanding…. Everyone in our party thought the meal today was excellent… one of Dingle’s finest foodie establishments

03/06/2025: This is a MUST dine! We were told by a couple on our tour that this was the best meal ever, and we made a reservation with high expectations. The food was out of sight! Service was fantastic. And I could actually hear my family and didn’t need to yell. My picky 14 year old ate everything and said she wanted to live in this restaurant. Don’t miss this place!

11/07/2025: Had - lovely pint of Guinness here, definitely one of the best pints in Kerry! Must visit spot! The bar lady was soo so lovely, very welcoming and good fun too!! The patrons were also good craic. Lovely local pub would definitely visit again!

30/06/2025: Stopped in for a quick dinner after a day of driving, and we were greeted by the loveliest host. The food here is hearty and very affordable (£20 per person), and you will be with the most welcoming of people.

17/06/2025: A family dinner, 4 people and we had no reservation. We were greeted with smiles and a wonderful welcome. I didn’t get her name but our server was a young lady with red hair, from Wexford. She was just super, helpful and so do good at her job. Seafood Chowder was divine, I had lamb cutlets and they were delicious and we had pizza and Caesar Salad and Seafood Smokies - all tasted fab. Service was Top Class

16/06/2025: Very helpful young lady at check-in. I had to depart early and the night porter was more than helpful in organising breakfast for me. Really lovely, looking forward to a return trip to spend more time.

14/06/2025: Love this hotel we have stayed here upwards of four times and intended to stay many more it's a great location in Kerry with many of the other great areas such as Killarney,Kenmare, Waterville, The Skelligs and many more all with in a hours drive. All the staff are so helpful

09/06/2025: Fantastic hotel. Rooms are so comfortable and spotless clean! We visited for our 1st anniversary and booked the deluxe suite. It didn't disappoint. Balcony was a nice touch along with the water and chocolates on arrival. Perfect location in the centre of killarney town with all shops restaurants etc close by. Live music friday and Saturday night with the sports on the projector with an amazing atmosphere. Will definitely revisit.

02/07/2025: Great hotel, location is right next to the golf course. The family that operates the hotel are excellent, very kind and personable. Highly recommend staying here if playing Bally.

17/05/2025: We stayed here 3 nights on a tour and this room is the most disgusting dirty place I’ve ever stayed in! First of all the carpet is filthy with stains all over it, the bathroom floor after they came in and gave us clean towels had someone’s long black hair on the floor and when we first came in someone had took a piss in toilet with toilet paper in it and not flushed it so did they even clean it? Only one tiny bar of soap was there I had to go ask for more good thing we brought our own shampoo and conditioner they did not supply any and no Kleenex in room. We asked for a box of Kleenex the clerk said we don’t have any here use toilet paper! The sheets feel like 50 count they are itchy I hope the hell they are clean! The tv gets 5 channels . There is something outside that keeps running and banging every 3 minutes kept me awake most of the night! This hotel is so far away from everything only a gas station and laundry mat across road it takes 30 minutes in heat to walk to the town of Killarney. This morning we woke up to the piercing sound of fire alarm that kept going off for 20 minutes we ran downstairs there were people on this floor in wheelchairs that could not get down the stairs we found out when we got down there that someone using a hairdryer caused it to go off these hairdryer are so old I guess it almost caught on fire! 🔥 this hotel needs a serious remodel it’s old and dirty and the staff are not very friendly! The food is not very good either. I would not recommend this place! The view out our window is a dirty roof top with some rusty fan with bird poop everywhere and a wood and brick wall ugly yuk! If it wasn’t dark now I would add that photo. Oh and this place has no air conditioner this small fan is all we had .

30/05/2025: Such a lovely cafe in Waterville. Fluffy pancakes, delicious cooked breakfast and delicious granola bowls. We’ve visited for lunch previously which was also fantastic. Friendly service and great coffee.

25/05/2025: My mom and I stopped into this place and it was so cute. It’s facing the water and we had a great view by the window. The food was amazing, we both got toasties and it came with a side salad and chips. Great cafe to stop by when on a roadtrip!

19/05/2025: We loved this hotel. It's in a great location. There was plenty of on site, free parking, when we arrived. They offered us a very early check-in but we didn't need it as we departed for the Ring of Kerry in the mid-morning of our check-in date. The receptionist was wonderful giving us tips for our drive around the Ring and holding our bags and then having our bags in our rooms when we arrived later than evening. The bar was wonderful as was the breakfast. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. They have a laundry service which came in handy halfway through our 9 day trip in Ireland. I'd stay here again for sure.
