16/08/2026: I recently went to Éabha Jones restaurant and was extremely disappointed and unsatisfied by the experience. I was waiting to collect food through their takeaway service in their front room where there is an opening to view the kitchen. I was shocked and appalled to see the chef cleaning leftover dirt off the serving plate by locking his finger and rubbing it against the plate. This happened numerous times which leads me to believe it is a common accurance in the kitchen. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and highly disturbing. It goes against the health and safety rules and puts customers AT RISK . I am disgusted by this behavior and will not be returning here again after this experience. All staff should be highly trained surrounding health and safety precautions and something as disgusting as this should not occur especially in the food industry!!!

15/08/2026: A very good dinner. Fish dishes (especially sea bass) were well prepared with chorizo ​​and vegetables.

03/07/2026: I really enjoyed our stay at The Heights. My room was very cute and clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly. Special shoutout to Ken from The Mill Bar. He is really knowledgeable about local whiskey and helped us with a last minute reservation at a Michelin rated restaurant in Dingle. In my opinion, the hotel has the perfect location, only a 4 minute drive to the center of town but also in route to the national park and the Ring of Kerry. I would definitely stay here again. 💚💚💚 Tip: when traveling in the summer, ask for a fan at check-in.

27/06/2026: The rooms were grand overall. The only downside was the heat-it was roasting while we were there, so it got a bit uncomfortable at times. Thankfully there was a fan in the room, which made a big difference. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was absolutely lovely. What really stood out though were the cocktails made by Alex. You could actually see the care he put into making them look special. He took his time decorating mine, and it genuinely felt like he wanted every guest to enjoy the experience. Fair play to him! Alex is a brilliant barman-always smiling, always in good form, even when there wasn’t anyone at the bar. And to be fair… hes not hard on the eyes either! 😂 Would definitily recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a lovely place to relax and have a great time. We’ll happily be back.

06/04/2026: Had a fantastic stay - the place is all about relaxation. Room had a wonderful view over the lake. Food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough.

29/03/2026: We had the most incredible two-night stay at Carrig Country House and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the setting completely won us over — right on the lake with breathtaking views that make it so easy to unwind and switch off. The house itself is full of charm and character, with a warm, cosy atmosphere that feels truly special. Being invited for coffee and homemade cake with biscuits after checking in is a great touch. We were lucky enough to stay in the Presidential Suite, which made the experience even more memorable. The space, comfort, and stunning views were exceptional — it felt like a real treat and the perfect place to relax. What really sets Carrig apart, though, is the hospitality. The team are genuinely welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful, creating a stay that feels personal and effortless. The dining experience was a real highlight. Being welcomed into a cosy sitting room to relax and discuss the menu before being called through to dinner is such a charming, old-world touch — it made each evening feel special. The food itself was outstanding from start to finish, with top-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with incredible food, beautiful surroundings, and truly warm hospitality, this place is a gem. Thank you to Claire, Kevin and the team for everything. We’ll definitely be back.

07/05/2026: Pretty hotel in the heart of Dingle. Unfortunately, there is no elevator, but the desk clerk said she’d have someone bring our bags up. When she couldn’t find someone promptly, she carried them up herself. Great service! Our room had a beautiful 4 poster bed and fireplace. We ate in their award winning dining room and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and engaging. My husband had the best lamb he’s ever eaten, and my fish and chips was the best of the trip. Wonderful stay.

06/05/2026: Benners Hotel – Tralee 🏨🇮🇪 The stay was okay 🙂 – nothing spectacular, but not a complete disaster either. The room had a strange window 🪟🤔, and the exhaust fan unfortunately didn't work 🌬️🚫 – that definitely needs improvement. What was really positive, though, was the staff's friendliness and warmth 😊🙌. We felt welcome from the start, which made the stay much more pleasant ❤️. Overall, a solid experience with a few minor flaws – hence 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

17/07/2026: Namir has the nicest restaurant in Ballybunion. The food and the service is 10/10 such a lovely atmosphere. Ice cream is also delicious !
