02/03/2025: Called here after lovely visit to Donegal Castle I ordered prawn sandwich came on the cheapest white bread ever which was soggy from the prawns unable to eat bread ordered coffee that didn't arrive until late into meal should have told them to keep it charged 8 euro for a very small cup service was terrible and staff very unfriendly you git the impression they had fallen out with each other such was the vibe ding dong bell going off all the time which was right beside the clattering of dishes that were being stacked rather loudly was annoying My young Daughters meal she told us later was not very nice she said it was very oily kids meal burger found this place to be expensive another review said Americans not welcome looks like Irish not welcome either

16/02/2025: After a long day in the car, we needed good food, quick! Stopped in on a sunday night. Wife had seafood pie that she loved-basically mashed potatoes with fish! I went Traditional-fish and chips but was not disappointed. Had a Guiness and a Kinnegar to mix it up. Perfect for us. Very nice crew!

18/01/2025: People talking all night, moving furniture. If you are old and deaf then it is a great hotel. It's not normal what kind of noise is made all night long. The bed I was in smelled like old child vomit.

05/03/2025: We stumbled upon this place after going to the Dingle Pub only to learn that they weren’t serving food. Divine intervention! The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all lovely. The food was clearly homemade and delicious!! So glad we stopped in. ☘️🙂

12/03/2025: A beautiful, peaceful spot. Quaint & "old worldly". The cleanliness & excellent service cannot be denied. Would definitely stay here again.

24/02/2025: Just a lovely hotel to get away for an excellent value for money break. Excellent bar food with open fires. Breakfast cooked to order which is another huge plus. Our second time staying and we'll definitely be back.

02/12/2024: Hands down the best restaurant in Kerry. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for good food and a great atmosphere. Desserts came on a trolley which I thought was a lovely touch. They even flamed the crème brûlée at the table! Very enjoyable overall, and the staff were fantastic!

03/11/2024: How absolutely delightful that this fabulous restaurant is now offering Sunday lunch. We had the most wonderful leisurely meal in gorgeous surroundings with efficient, friendly but non-intrusive service. Speaks for itself that there were so many locals enjoying a new addition to what is offered by this excellent establishment. We will definitely be back for more Sunday lunches. Be sure to book as I feel this is going to become a very popular option very quickly!!

07/03/2025: I had a delicious dinner here back in November! Beef and Guinness stew was mouthwatering, pour a perfect draft of Guinness, and their brownie was yummy! Great meal!

04/12/2024: Love staying in Scott's hotel we spent 2 nights there in November 20th and 21st. We had our dinner on the Wednesday night served up to us by the barman who was so friendly one lovely lad. The breakfast was lovely both morning and the service was excellent. Our room was very nice too. All in all a very nice stay. We will be back in 2025.

19/02/2025: The Hungry Knight in Sneem is a fantastic place for a delicious and satisfying meal. The food is absolutely amazing, with fresh ingredients, generous portions, and rich flavors that make every dish stand out. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you won’t be disappointed. One of the best things about this restaurant is the excellent variety of vegetarian options. Unlike many places where vegetarian dishes feel like an afterthought, The Hungry Knight offers well-prepared, flavorful choices that are just as satisfying as the rest of the menu. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is exceptional. The manager (or owner) is an incredibly kind and helpful person. He went out of his way to assist us during the evening, making sure we had everything we needed. We are truly grateful for his kindness and hospitality. Overall, The Hungry Knight is a must-visit if you're in Sneem. With fantastic food, great vegetarian options, and outstanding service, it’s a place we highly recommend!

28/10/2024: Tasteless chips and only about 9 of them plus sold prawns as scampi. All this for 15 euros. Total rubbish

22/03/2025: Me and my girlfriend just came in a little after 2pm after visiting Torc waterfall and Muckross Abbey hoping to get some lunch while waiting on the Red Bus an hour later. We waited at the Monks Lounge reception area to wait for a table to be told it's residents only. No sorry, apologies or recommendations for anywhere else for some lunch. From looking online, this doesn't seem to be the case at all - it allows me to book a table on the website. There were plenty of seats available inside and outside to cater to 2 guests. Considering this is directly across from Muckross Abbey and there are tourists here regularly I'm shocked. If this is how they treat people, I'd rather spend my money and dine elsewhere.

31/10/2024: We only tried the restaurant because we were passing through at lunch time. We tried the homemade lasagna and the homemade burger. Everything was very good including the apple crumble 🎉.

20/02/2025: Very special visit to Wild today. Lovely welcome & service. Excellent seafood chowder & brown bread. But best of all when I left my wallet in the car & couldn’t pay the bill, the owner/manager was charming & said not to worry & to drop in money when I could. Of course, I returned to the cafe & paid immediately, but this was a rare & charming demonstration of trust & good service. Would totally recommend if visiting Tralee.

06/02/2025: Was in Tralee for the day and decided to try here for lunch and I really enjoyed it. The staff were nice. The service was quick. Had the club sandwich which was great.

20/02/2025: Stopped off for dinner while in killarney . Lovely quiet restaurant. Food was good not much of a variety for meals but what we had was beautiful .

14/09/2024: Comimos en el bar de marineros dos de nuestras tres noches de estancia en Oakfield be&be por recomendación de Marian y Morty y no decepcionó. La comida era deliciosa. El scampi wqs nuestro favorito. La joven sirviendo nuestra mesa era muy atento y nos habló sobre nuestro día. Estamos deseando volver ya.

08/09/2024: Great pub! Excellent food and great service! Not very big but very good! We have been coming here since 2013 and have never had a bad meal!
