05/11/2024: Cozy sports pub (14 screens!), fun and live music every evening, beautiful modern rooms (don't count on a nice view) and excellent breakfast. The location is fantastic.

03/11/2024: This was the Denny's of Ireland. Subpar food, mediocre service, and zero ambience. We were lulled in by the promise of live music but it was just a young man singing John Denver and Garth Brooks songs.

02/11/2024: We had dinner in the Lime Tree last Saturday.. This was our first time here and it’s most definitely won’t be our last ! We’ve already planned our next visit ! I have to say it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time .. and definitely the best restaurant we’ve been to when visiting Kenmare .. The scallops were the best I’ve ever had ! The hake was perfection .. My husband had the chowder & steak .. The wine was also excellent.. the staff are so professional and so so friendly & helpful .. each & every one of them .. Michael the owner & chef goes around chatting to everyone after service is over .. He’s a lovely friendly person and what a talented chef ! the meal was better than some we’ve had in michelin star restaurants .. thanks for an amazing dinner

06/08/2024: Had a lovely stay here while on a work trip. The hotel itself is located just a short walk from the town it’s self the rooms are spotless and offers a lovely bar on the hotel grounds.

29/07/2024: Excellent Hotel to a very high standard. Dropped in for lunch on the way from Tralee. However the service was poor. Alot of staff but very disorganised.

10/11/2024: Very welcoming and relaxing, with breathtaking Mountain and Bay views. Fantastic walks and trails for all ages with various degrees of difficulties.

01/11/2024: We had one of the best meals of our recent UK/Ireland/ European trip at Fentons in Dingle. Wonderful service and the food and wine options were superb. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant and the staff were friendly and attentive.

27/10/2024: Absolutely delicious food, fab service and a cosy warm atmosphere, what more could you want. Portions are huge, so bring your appetite. Had the seabass and burger, both cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

28/09/2024: Stopped into the Beachcove Cafe randomly on our way to Dingle, and we are so glad we did! Had the best cappuccino and best fish and chips of our travels so far. The servers were kind and friendly, the views were incredible! I would absolutely recommend this cafe to anyone in the area! Also cute and very clean bathrooms

01/11/2024: A medium rare 8 oz steak sandwich cooked perfectly and present by friendly and accommodating staff.Really good value too at €23.00

04/10/2024: We had the “Soup of day” and a very good Fish and Ships. The servers were very friendly. We liked the decor. They have two local beers, an IPA and an Ale which are very good. We don't regret our dinner.

13/10/2024: We only ate in the restaurant. So I can't say anything about the rooms. The food was very tasty and the portion size was reasonable. We had fish and chips and a margarita pizza for the child. Everything homemade and freshly made. Very tasty too.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 And if it works, we will spend the night there soon. 😉 Then I can say something about it. 😉🤗

22/07/2024: Locals to Tralee myself and my husband came in for dinner. Service was very speedy and the food was delicious. My only criticism is that mashed potatoes should be served with roast beef. I was given a baked potato. It was still very tasty. Will definitely return

08/07/2024: First visit . Great menu. We were 5 adults and 3 kids. There was something for everyone . All food was perfectly cooked. Waiter very attentive. Unusually not very chatty for a Kerryman. But all was good. Good value considering the quality.

12/09/2024: Had a lunchtime drink and decided to come back for dinner. The food was really good, but the poor waitress was working alone with an awful lot of customers.

20/10/2024: Absolutely one of the best experiences in hospitality out there. Second to none. We enjoyed two weekends here over the past few months and both weekends were amazing. From the moment you arrive you will experience the calm professionalism of seasoned hosts. Food was simply perfection on every level. A cosy beautiful restaurant with staff who are absolutely brilliant. After your meal relax in one of the drawing rooms which are intimate and very private. Breakfasts were cooked to order and delicious. Spent the afternoons reading the papers with a G&T, pure bliss! Can’t wait to return!

26/07/2024: Had a tasty seafood pie accompanied by the chefs selected range of salads that had a lot of interesting and delicious tastes and flavours that married well with the main course A bottle of still water to wash it down followed by a nice soft pastry apple cake cream and coffee All for €30 Service very attentive by the chef and his assistant Full recommendation and will definitely call in next time in Castleisland
