03/07/2026: I regularly go there as I like their coffee. Salads are amazing and they do small bowls. A good bit of bar space to sit when alone and a lovely terrace when the sun is out.

22/07/2026: We stopped there to get a quick bite. The boy who did the service told us he'd be with us shortly, but never came. When we decided to leave (30 min later), we saw him behind the bar, eating. He laughed at us, when he saw us leaving. I suggest you hire proper staff instead of cheeky boys.

08/08/2026: My wife and I had a really nice dinner at Solas. The Spanish-inspired dishes made with local Irish seafood were unique, interesting, and very well done. It was a great change of pace from some of the more traditional seafood spots in Dingle, while still highlighting the quality of the local ingredients. Who knew tapas and Irish seafood would get along so well? Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something a little different.

07/08/2026: On balance, experience was poor. Whilst some of the food was excellent, others considerably less than that. Particularly disappointing was the fact that we were charged over €30 for two small glasses of Albarino! Only advice is to consider a bottle, then at least you know the quantity that you are paying for! In fairness, this is not a case of “it not being for us”.

14/08/2026: Absolutely BEAUTIFUL beef and Guinness stew large enough to share. Made with very clearly fresh and local ingredients (about half a cow and 3 bags of carrots per portion....) Really good service and atmosphere too. Totally recommend.

18/08/2026: We ordered 4 burgers. The waitress asked us to confirm: four burgers? Yes, four. Confirmed, and very nearly sworn on oath. What arrived was one burger and two bowls of soup. A result that takes a certain amount of creativity. The waitress came over to ask whether everything was alright. We said no, and pointed out that the soups weren’t ours. Her response was to burst out laughing — at length, and rudely. The grand finale came with the bill, which featured dishes we had never ordered. Consistent, in fairness: a kitchen that serves at random also bills at random. We only noticed because we went through it line by line. Nobody flagged it, and without that check we’d have paid for the imaginary dishes too. From the other reviews, we gather we’re not the only ones — which is some comfort. It wasn’t bad luck, it’s a system. The place has everything going for it. A pity it uses it all for a different game.

21/05/2026: The hotel is a wonderful place, historic. The food they offer is really good. So far the good things. I asked for a room with sea view and got the information that it will have view. Well. See a picture from my window. I didn't mean that! The rooms are expectable old. Nothing to complain here. But there is no sound isolation. We were able to here everything from the next room. TV, water tap, shower, toilet. Regarding the service. There were three women in service two younger ones, who walk through the restaurant looking to the ground, barely seeing guests contact wishes for drinks or coffee in the morning. The 3rd women, a stronger one, was amazing. She definitely loves her job. It was fun talking with her and getting her recommendations for the order was Gold. Sorry for this review.

14/05/2026: We stayed two nights as a family. The hotel is superb, retaining its original charm, with very large, comfortable, and clean rooms. The restaurant is the only one open and offers good quality food. The staff is friendly. We highly recommend it.

01/08/2026: I’ve been a regular over quite a number of years during the summer. I love this spot, the location and views are incredible. The bar is nice and at times can have a really great atmosphere. In previous years the food has been excellent. This year the food has been grand, not bad but quite average. The big deterioration for me however has been the service. It’s been pretty appalling. Really slow indifferent service, staff chatting among themselves, no engagement with customers beyond transactional. Feels a bit like there is no manager in charge to make the staff actually do their job well. I hope this is resolved and TPs can get back to their previous lofty heights in an incredible spot!!

20/06/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Killarney Royal Townhouse. The location was absolutely perfect—right in the heart of town and conveniently located for exploring Killarney and many of the area’s top attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Both the breakfast and dinner were excellent, with delicious food and great service. We would highly recommend staying here and would gladly return on our next visit to Ireland!

17/06/2026: Fabulous hotel in a great location! Yana the receptionist was so helpful with all our questions. We even received a lovely gift of fresh scones when we left !

05/08/2026: A bit posh for a pub, but the staff is more than nice. And the food... My children not only ate, what they wanted, but also part of my vegetables (what a taste!). We (me and husband) were full, but ordered apple crumble (internet told us to do so) and I died and went to heaven! I wonder if they send it abroad... Huge recomendation from a foodie!

03/04/2026: The most delicious food you will get in Cahersiveen is in Eva’s restaurant! If you want flavoursome and classic dishes cooked to perfection, go here ! We had the fish and chips (beautiful hake with lovely light batter), lemon creamy chicken, and spaghetti prawns. Oh my god we licked the plates !
