29/06/2025: Amazing food, I can't wait to call again. I think the wait time was a little bit long, but its worth it. I understand that things are cooked to order so I personally don't mind waiting the extra few minutes for food that is perfect (the beef burger was unreal). Nice atmosphere and excellent staff.

13/06/2025: Perfectly located, this family-owned restaurant overlooks the Three Sisters and Clogher Beach. We all thoroughly enjoyed the freshly prepared dishes made from local produce. The delicious homemade desserts were also fantastic. We'd love to return on our next trip to Dingle!

06/07/2025: Amazing atmosphere - typical Irish pub experience. The staff was very helpful. The food was rich and flavourful with a variety of options; it was also inexpensive(80-90 euro for 2 kids, 2 adults.) My new favourite restaurant in Kerry!!

23/06/2025: A great cosy Irish pub which does very wholesome food and tasty pints. Anytime I’m back in dingle I visit the Marina Inn and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend visiting the Marina!

15/07/2025: Flavour is excellent, service prompt, and the presentation of the dishes was clearly very thought through. Reviews and menu photos here are a bit misleading, note that it is now €55 for a two course meal and €60 something for a three course. BUT IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!! Also for gluten free people, the menu is varied and seems pretty accomodating. Most restaurants don't have as many options as this one. The gluten free desserts were a highlight. Brought group of 8 so here is the group ratings on assortment of dishes: ~ Starters Calamari : 7/10 pretty good, somewhat chewy but taste was good and batter just grand Chicken wings: 8/10 would recommend for people who like very sweet sauce on chicken wings Duck briquette: 8/10 one of the better ones we've tasted ~ Mains Lamb duo: 10/10 definitely the most enjoyed by everyone, cottage pie was incredibly tasteful and the lamb was cooked to perfection Chicken supreme: 9/10 also very delicious, portion size a bit on the smaller size but with a starter before it's perfect Steaks: 7/10 they were quite sinewy, a bit unsalted, but with the pepper sauce over it was just right so be sure to put the sauce on for a better taste ~ Desserts Sticky toffee pudding: 12/10, not only gluten free but absolutely delicious Brownie: 10/10 very rich and chocolatey ~Children's meals Penne pasta: 9/10 according to a ten year old, the sauce and cheese came seperate so kids can customise to their taste Chicken goujons with chips: 7/10 according to 8 year old Overall good experience and would absolutely recommend for a special occasion!

10/07/2025: Lucky to get a table on short notice. The tables were set nicely & food was well plated. Unfortunately the servers were spread too thin that night. Service was a bit slow and based on the atmosphere it seemed they should remember who ordered what; but food delivery was a bit mixed up within our family. We noticed we were seated upstairs with other families of young children while a large group of adults was boisterous with their “adult” conversation.

11/06/2025: It was like our waiter forgot about our table. We twice requested water from him which never arrived. Had to ask another waiter to pay our bill. Draw your own conclusions…

08/06/2025: Do not go here unless you want frustration. We came to this restaurant based on the stellar reviews. The food was great. The problem was the service. Seated next to the till, we saw customer after customer coming up to complain that they’d been ignored, and trying to convince their server to let them pay their bill. Again and again. Never have we had such appalling service.

17/07/2025: I just read the last 12 months of reviews. Some people just need to complain! Smh... My wife and I have been in the restaurant business for over 40 yrs each, and the Tankard stands out as an amazing meal. The cauliflower and pate' apps were excellent. The turbot and sole were equally delectable- each with local potatoes, of course... Muireann was an excellent server. She was funny, efficient and a joy to talk to. There was also a young lady at the register- chef knife tattoo on her forearm- was also very nice to deal with.

12/07/2025: Brilliant restaurant. The food here is always incredible. The service is second to none and the views just bring it all together. Would highly recommend the Tankard.

06/07/2025: Excellent location but little hard to find. parking is close by but hard to know where to go from there. Charming pub, more of a family style, has 10 rooms no elevator but very helpful staff. Weird part was we have three single beds in our room, not sure if they’re all like that. Breakfast is great and they’re very friendly. Even though it’s on the main street and at the pub, noise was not an issue for us with closed windows. We would recommend it.

05/07/2025: Very mid experience, almost a tourist trap feeling. Food was okay but nothing to write home about. We had the Irish stew, steak, and veggie soup. However, thoroughly unimpressed with the service quality. We were served by a senior waitress, who seemed like either a supervisor or manager. She could not have shown less care to us, starting from tossing the menus on the table, stepping on my feet, to, basically, expecting us to take care of ourselves. And to fish for tips after it all. The atmosphere is okay but given the abundance of other places in the area, I wouldn't return.

04/07/2025: Yes, definitely recommended! Best stew ever. The Thai curry was very good. The Baileys cheesecake was delicious 😋

16/07/2025: Went with a group of 6. Food took over an hour. I ordered poached cod with potatoes and veg (pictured). One of the party asked for a dietary requirement request which wasn't followed. Three steak sandwiches were all overcooked and lacked seasoning. Chips tasted like they hadn't been made fresh, they were quite dry and leathery. Overall, very disappointed.

11/06/2025: Stayed here Bank Holiday weekend with my Partner Pat It was a wonderful place I had not been on Holiday in 3 years as I do have Cancer ,The staff were wonderful the rooms so clean reception desk staff always ready for a chat ,The Food Excellent We loved everything. Anne & Pat

08/06/2025: The warm and friendly welcome at the reception was particularly special. There was an elevator. The room was clean. There were ample parking spaces.

11/07/2025: The grandma's recipe fried chicken is so amazing! Add to that friendly and fast customer service. Could not fault this place.
