01/06/2025: Visited the Porter House on two occasions in may …everything about it was amazing ..I had the chicken supreme and my daughter had a vegetarian fajita… erything A+ …love the booths , the privacy and the wonderful service from our lovely server who I believe was called Patricia ! See you next time I’m back in Ireland !

10/05/2025: This is a gem, friendliest staff and went out of their way to accommodate. Lovely food, black pudding on the Atlantic Burger was lovely. Nice sitting areas. Ample parking. Short walk/cycle from Inch beech. We were a long way from shops and the owner gifted us batteries for our torch. A new favourite Kerry pub for us.

24/04/2025: We stayed at Inch Beach B&B and stopped here for dinner and drinks bc of proximity, but oh boy we were pleasantly surprised! Delicious pints, AMAZING black pudding beef burger, refreshing beetroot goat cheese salad, yum to alll! Best of all was the atmosphere. The crew behind the bar is so friendly and made us feel like locals. Nice fire going and live music. We went back for day 2 and will be sure to go again next time in Inch. Highly recommend!!

14/05/2025: Fuimos a comer aquí el lunes por la noche con amigos que estaban visitando Killarney por primera vez. Les sorprendió la experiencia de cenar aquí. Nuestra camarera Kaylie era muy impresionante y nos sirvió una comida que adornaría cualquier mesa Masterchef. La muy amable familia propietaria de este establecimiento sabe exactamente lo que significa la palabra satisfacción y cómo se debe entregar. Top Class ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10/04/2025: We were here for dinner around 6:15 p.m. Thursday. There was a reduced menu with an early bird offer, two of the main courses listed for the total price 29 euros. We ordered the burger menu twice and two Guinnesses. The food was good and also plentiful. Unfortunately the beer was too warm, which is something I don't know from Ireland. When we billed, we only noticed later that we had been charged the regular price of 39 euros instead of the offer price of 29 euros. I didn't think it was ok, especially since you couldn't choose from the entire menu.

20/05/2025: Great food and great service. What a lovely young lady who took our order. She promptly gave us the specials and brought our order.

18/04/2025: An absolute gem, couldn’t find fault. Steak was perfect, accommodation spotlessly clean and personal service that is very rare. Shall be returning.

27/04/2025: We were there yesterday and sat outside on the terrace with our dog - the weather wasn't ideal, but we had our dog with us and wanted to have her with us too. That wasn't a problem either. The staff was very friendly and even brought us a dog bowl with water, which our dog gratefully accepted. One of us went in to order and a waiter brought our food out pretty quickly. The food was delicious and plentiful. Accordingly, the slightly higher price was completely justified. It was quite crowded and loud inside, so we had a lot more peace outside. We didn't make a reservation either and just thought we'd give it a try as we drove past.

22/04/2025: Llegamos a Kenmare y nos alegramos de nuestro be&be recomendado Casey's. La comida era deliciosa. Mi amigo tenía la suela negra y todavía está delirando al respecto. Tenía el Korma que era perfecto. Y encantado de descubrir que los propietarios tienen familia en Boston! Recomiendo encarecidamente una parada en Casey's!

15/05/2025: attracted by the excellent reviews, I try it for lunch. I took fish n chips, with cod and an excellent local Ipa beer, really good. The fish n chips were good, not a 10 fish, the breading was quite full of oil. The chips were excellent, as was the sauce that accompanied them. The service was really high-level and courteous.

04/05/2025: The moment you walk down the driveway and see the fairy lights twinkling and the candlelight glowing , you know you’re in for a real treat. The atmosphere is cheerful , the staff so welcoming and friendly, the food is superb. I know there are many very good restaurants in Kenmare and sometimes it feels like there is TOO much choice. But having been to the Lime Tree I can honestly say that it’s the pick of the bunch. The atmosphere, the lovely staff , the quality and the presentation of the food are second to none. Eating here is a memorable experience. They’ve managed to tick all the boxes , and I love the fact that it’s owned and run by a family all working together as a team to make your night special. I cannot wait to go back.

24/04/2025: Fantastic evening at the Lime Tree - beautiful setting with a cosy table by the fire, and exceptionally welcoming staff. Food was super, particularly the fish of the day (hake) and potato gratin. Can't wait to return next time we're in Kenmare!
