04/04/2024: Had breakfast there and ordered the breakfast sandwich. A little heavy on the relish, but otherwise delicious. The staff were so nice and very accommodating
02/04/2024: I was passing through Clonmel this morning and came across this gem.
Wonderful atmosphere with staff that were a joy to interact with. I had the mini breakfast and it was good. The decor inside of this place id spectacular and a joy to look around.

07/05/2024: Described as a typical Irish pub with live music every evening, we came with corresponding expectations.
The food was rather mediocre to bad, a sirloin steak with very mixed meat quality and the two different cooking levels ordered were not met.
Unfortunately very average and given the size of the pub it had a bit of a tourist pass-through feel.
And the promised live music wasn't there either, apart from violin music from the tape there was nothing to be heard.
At least the waiter was attentive and polite, if not overly effusive as is usually the case in the country.

The Anvil Bar
04/04/2024: Stayed here for a night, great value for money! Breakfast was great, also we got the best price for a pint in our whole trip through Ireland here.
Liz was an amazing host and had brilliant tips and recommendations for our further travels.
The place is a great starting point for exploring the Dingle Peninsula or going down the ring of Kerry.
Would stay here again!

13/01/2024: Small pub with welcoming staff, we were able to have a drink surrounded by locals, but did not eat there because the restaurant was closed that day.
Nice view of the sea, the place is calm and relaxing, a little secluded. There are several tables outside, the inside is smaller but in a nice atmosphere.
Drink prices are decent and there are toilets on site.
17/12/2023: The customer service by Roberto was outstanding. Top notch toast and the cold beans was a nice addition to the fry.
Roberto also gave a great astrology reading to our group.

20/02/2024: We had a birthday brunch at the Granary in Midleton last week. The place was buzzing, which was great to see. We sat outside and our orders came quickly. The food was deliscious and our server was quick, friendly and had a great sense of humour! A great place to meet friends and family for a meal! well done Jack and team.
12/01/2024: 20 years in business and once you visit you will know why this foodstore has gone from strength to strength!!
Breakfast is still as good as ever!

17/02/2024: I would have loved to give this place 5 stars as we had a great evening in the bar and the food was nice. But it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in our of 6 others in Ireland so it is ranked with value in mind.

03/04/2024: Fish and chips...as it should be! Several types of fish to choose from. Friendly welcome, food is brought to the table. Get free sauce after. I would have liked a Guinness. We were there on March 27th. 24 there. Keep it up !
26/03/2024: Best fish snd chips I’ve ever had in my life; no hint of fishiness and a light, crispy batter around super fresh fish. The squid and crab claws were also stuff of legends. I also really enjoyed the garlic/mayonnaise dipping sauce. Very well done!! 👏
