15/03/2026: Ordered lemon sole, cold in the middle and rolled in a ball on top of luke warm mash.poor quality food.sirloin steak only average. Would not recommend. Expensive for a low average meal.

30/04/2026: I had planned our trip to dingle to include Land to Sea based on reviews here and its reputation. We went for the early bird menu. One of my pet hates is when an early bird menu has smaller portions than the same meal from the al la carte. It gets my hackles up straightaway as it shows that the chef doesn’t understand the purpose of an early bird and that he begrudges the customer who pops in for it. Our plates were so bare we left the place hungry. The neighbouring table on the à la carte were fed really well with much larger portions. But in saying that the main was delicious. We had the fish and steak. The starters were alright, I had rabbit and my friend had crab. I’ll never understand why chefs insist on using endive on starters, it ruined the taste of everything but once I ignored it the rabbit was enjoyable. The “crab Caesar salad” had zero Caesar saladness that we could see - made with bistro salad and without a crouton or anchovy in sight. Also a lot of shell in the crab. Dessert is where this restaurant really lets itself down. Offering an array of a white fluffy “mousse” instead of contrasting deserts, it was hard to decide what to have - I went for a whiskey mousse and my friend went for orange but when they were brought out we realised our deserts were identical. No flavour. You couldn’t tell what flavour they were supposed to be. The “mousse” tasted like whipped cream, and when my friends was sent back for something else (with us honestly thinking there’d been a mistake) the new desert was _exactly_ the same. It felt like the chef had one big bowl of tasteless whipped cream that he would plop out whenever any desert was ordered. Also this tasteless whipped cream was being accompanied by… ice cream! On what planet does mousse find a compliment in ice cream? So disappointing. We had two apple wines that were delicious. Even with the disappointment so obvious to our server - everything we ordered including all deserts and our drinks were charged for. As we had the early bird the deserts were only a €4 increase on the €42 for the two course. Our deserts were barely touched and our disappointment in them was clearly expressed. But they didn’t take the €4 off. That told me everything I need to know about this chef. I’ll never be back.

24/04/2026: Maybe our expectations were too high but we felt our meal was just ok. The oysters were delicious, the rabbit and foie gras appetizer was very good, the rack of lamb was good but slightly overdone and the beef medallions were tough. Both desserts were a disappointment, with the sea salt ice cream being the wild card - it was delicious. For the price of the meal it was a disappointment but compared to another meal of fish and chips, I’d do it again. 😉

15/05/2026: I was in there on 3rd May 2026 with my family - food was lovely but the bar man was very rude towards my sister when she went to order drinks - the heavy bald fella I'm on about - we were not happy over this and thought about leaving to go somewhere else - in the end we stayed and the rest of the staff were very nice - I had an issue with him too back in November when I went in there on my own - he wasn't very welcoming towards me - please make him aware

11/04/2026: A lovely night out with the family! Food tasted lovely! Really enjoyed it! Wish the chips were skinny but never mind. Service was below average wasn’t great! Scuba! I would go here instead of Salvador in Kelirany! I like chips! (scuba) Brownie for dessert very nice unfortunately didn’t finish had a small stomach xoxo! The pub looked great had the footy game on! 17/05/2026: The best mussels I’ve ever had … didn’t know that mussels can be soooo tasty & omg … the duck was amazing ! The skin was crispy & the meat was full of flavor ! And of course the steak … perfectly done … probably the best meal in all of Ireland ❤️💚

05/05/2026: We had a very nice meal here. The food was wonderful, and the staff was accommodating, even though we showed up on a Saturday night with no reservation during the rally of the lakes. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a nice dinner, but probably not the place to go if you're out for drinks, it was definitely a nicer atmosphere

29/04/2026: If you're tired of overpriced places with small portions and complicated menus, just go to The Brogue Inn. It’s a solid, reliable spot in Port Credit. I’ve been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. The atmosphere is exactly what a pub should be - comfortable and unpretentious. The steak and kidney pie is top-notch & the Guinness is always poured the right way. It’s great for a casual dinner or just meeting up with friends to watch a game. Prices are fair for the quality you get. It’s a local staple for a reason.

25/08/2025: Loved both the Lake Hotel and Lakeside Bistro. The location provides amazing views of Killarney mountains and lakes! Service staff was amazing! We had some jet lag the found us awake at midnight. The serving crew, cleaning up the day’s service stopped to makes us a fresh coffee and real cream tray to take back to our room! The food was great and the bar atmosphere was cozy. Only wish the actual bar, itself, held more seats. The room was spacious with great views! Highly recommend it!!

05/07/2025: Really enjoyed our meal. Everything was plated well and was delicious. Dessert was impressive. My wife ordered the tiramisu and I had the pannacotta. Highly recommend both. And you can’t beat the view!

16/05/2026: Best pint of Guinness I’ve had all trip (including a visit to the Guinness Storehouse)! Had a lovely soup with homemade brown bread as well. Enjoyed the traditional music in the evening on Sunday night.

10/05/2026: I have been here many times before but today, me and my friends came over for lunch as we were in town. I went with the Chicken Fillet burger and it was delicious 😋 My friends had The loaded fries and Chicken waffle and they both looked delicious 🤤 The service was excellent as always. The atmosphere felt so welcoming and all the staff were all professional. Won't be my last time 😊

14/04/2026: The restaurant is super cute and very well located, right in the city centre and easy to get to. The space is large and comfortable, with plenty of room for tables of four or five people. The food was wonderful. I ordered a chicken salad as my main dish and it was absolutely amazing — very complete, with lots of variety, fresh vegetables, and grains. I really loved it. It was a great meal! My friends ordered steak and escalopes, and they all loved their dishes. The fries were especially delicious. We also ordered some drinks, and they were super refreshing. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend Café Du Parc! ✨🍽️

03/12/2025: Lovely location and accommodating staff. Booked the suite and the whole hotel was decorated in the spirit of Christmas which was lovely. Just one minor suggestion: Consider partnering with local artists for artwork to be added to rooms and potentially it being able to be research via qr code and purchased.

02/12/2025: Room was very comfortable, the perfect size with plenty of space, but not too big. Excellent bathroom. Service at the hotel were excellent. All staff were outstanding, very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, poached egg and avocado was delicious, eggs perfectly cooked. Having access to the swimming pool at the Great Southern was a great bonus and it is only across the road from the townhouse.

06/05/2026: We had a wonderful meal at Fentons last weekend.We had the the Dingle Goat's cheese , my friend had the monkfish and scallops and I had the Black Angus Striploin , every thing was delightful . The staff are so welcoming and obliging - we are definitely planning our next dinner date already. It was very busy so reservations are advised .
