The best restaurantsof irish in Kerry

15/07/2026: Wonderful stay at ODonnabhain’s. The hosts, Jer and Vanessa, along with the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable during our 3 night stay. Perfectly located in Kenmare, day trips to the Ring of Kerry and the Beara were possible.

15/07/2026: Gluten pizza which was v.nice for a random pub. Service was ok, you order from an app but it was lovely sitting in the pub garden in the sun.

19/08/2026: We’ve only been there once so far, and we had a mushroom soup and it was very good. The place is really nice and clean, and the outdoor seating is lovely. The staff were very friendly, and there’s plenty of parking. We’ll definitely stop there again next time!

19/08/2026: The perfect place for lunch after a hike in the Gap of Dunloe. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of light and create a very welcoming atmosphere. Good food, generous portions, friendly and attentive staff. Average prices, private parking available.

28/05/2026: Excellent service, friendly staff who were busy but made sure we were well looked after. We had the black and blue burger and the kingdom burger. Black and blue burger was great, Kingdom burger was fantastic, lots of flavour fresh chicken excellent.

28/05/2026: Another Irish pub with great food. But like most pubs we've visited, the meals are quite pricey by Canadian standards. But the food here (as with most pubs) is perfectly prepared and nicely presented. One BIG difference in an Irish pub is the speed of service. It seems no sooner do you order than the meal is brought out. And it never tastes like it's been sitting under warming lamps. Unbelievable service. The Brogue in was even faster than others. And I have to mention our waitress, Shauna, who was exceptional. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. All in all, an amazing dinner experience.

19/08/2026: Everything was delicious! The Atlantic salmon and lamb were incredibly tender.

19/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place today while driving the Ring of Kerry and were thrilled! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and welcoming (but they won't be there much longer 😭). Highly recommended!!!

18/08/2026: We have been here while Rose of Tralle festival to pick up some drinks. It was really crowded but I think you can have food time when not that crowded, too.

13/08/2026: Traditional pub, great for lunch, inexpensive, quick and efficient service. Very friendly staff.

23/06/2026: Such a disappointing experience with this hotel. Coming from abroad, my brother booked this hotel in error, picking the incorrect county. The booking was made and cancelled on the same date via PayPal. On contacting PayPal they kindly advised that they would do all that they could to help ensure a positive outcome to this issue, following the necessary cancellation, but that it was at the discretion of the hotel. We also helped from our side, and contacted the hotel out of courtesy, and despite the refund being at their discretion they advised that it is their policy not to give refunds to customers during the peak season. This is an incredibly poor way to treat visitors to the country. Mistakes can easily be made particularly when travelling, some common sense and understanding is key when in business. Our family will certainly not be rebooking at this hotel - terrible experience.

16/05/2026: This is a wonderful hotel in a quiet picturesque location s minutes drive from Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. The main building dates from the 1840s and was the priory (I believe) for the beautiful church across the road. We stayed 2 nights in a spacious and spotless room in the new wing behind the main building. The superb staff was extremely professional and attentive - perhaps the best I've ever experienced.

19/08/2026: Best lamb I’ve ever had. Delish artichoke soup! Grateful for well-prepared hake in a delish sauce But the cheeseboard was strange (and had no explanation of which cheese was which) because it came with onions and an almost tomato sauce thingie that didn’t go with the cheese… Also: why was the place pushing hot sauce so much? And where did the tasting menu from the website go?)

18/08/2026: The hake was the best fish I've ever tasted. The sauce and vegetables were beyond impressive. Nothing was out of place.

23/07/2026: Hit and miss. Had exceptional meals there but also some that aren't really worth the price. Breakfasts are generally great, especially during the week. Recent visit - not so great, a chicken burger with fries, for 23 euro. Killarney prices, I guess, but it was simply ONLY the burger and a small portion of fries, no little tiny Fleck of a side salad or at least a green leaf for decor, nothing.. The burger tasted excellent, but felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The place itself is spacious and cosy, but trying too hard to be über cool.. music too loud.. service is excellent, very friendly and efficient..

18/07/2026: Overall felt overrated. It was highly recommended to us, but the food options for brunch weren't that many, most were too heavy for us. Prices quite high for the small portion you're getting. Staff was very nice and the place looked posh, but we wouldn't return.

10/06/2026: The young staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Felt very safe as a solo-traveler. Food was fantastic! Restaurant was lovely and the view from the breakfast room into the garden was a beautiful way to start the day.

29/05/2026: Lovely service with amazing breakfast. Right beside Glenbeigh village with access to walks and Rossbeigh beach close by. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Rooms were comfortable and clean

20/08/2026: Stopped off for lunch today passing through Tralee. Food was typical bar food but good. Staff were very polite and helpful. 100€ for 4 mains, 1 dessert and 2 soft drinks, average value but decent portions. Would definitely stop there again.

03/08/2026: Food are not so good unfortunately I don’t know this place got this many stars . I believe it’s because they are good at presenting. We tried fish and steak 🥩 i definitely not recommend steak .. totally disappointed. If you are gonna order desert order from desert menu only
