11/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic food. Very reasonably priced for Irish standards. The perfect ending to our Ring of Kerry tour. The burgers and fries were delicious, and the choux pastry was also very tasty. We highly recommend it. Very friendly service, authentic atmosphere.

30/08/2026: Nice local pub! Great food and service. Tip: inside and at the back of the pub you have tables outside, river view.

23/09/2026: We loved this restaurant. Warm atmosphere, delicious food, and lovely staff. We have absolutely no complaints. A must-try if you're in the area. (Reservations are not possible and the restaurant fills up quickly).

20/09/2026: Disappointing. I still don't understand the hype. After a 45-minute wait, we were told the kitchen was down to a single cold lobster and no crab at all, apart from the claw appetizer. A seafood restaurant that runs out of seafood? The claws cost €18 and were barely a mouthful, with almost no meat inside. The oysters were decent, and the cheesy potatoes and calamari were the only real highlights. Otherwise, save your time and money. Service was fine, but the owner was cold and curt. He never smiled and brushed off our friendly attempts at conversation. The worst part came when a fire broke out in the bread basket at the next table, and the older couple sitting there hadn't noticed. My husband leapt up and put it out, and he was left with three painful blisters that will make golfing the rest of our trip a struggle. The staff offered him a burn spray, and the owner sent over a beer. Not once did anyone say "thank you." Not even a comped meal for the man who may have saved the restaurant from a much worse fire. We're friendly Canadians who always put others first. It's sad to see such a lack of gratitude.

22/09/2026: Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Cold Seafood Platter. Fresh and tasty, the scallops were a melt in the mouth job. Big juicy crab claws too. Not cheap but worth every penny.

07/08/2026: Great food and wonderful hospitality at Flesk Bar & Restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Flesk Bar & Restaurant. A truly perfect evening in the heart of Killarney: Delicious fish dishes & fresh salads: The quality of the food absolutely impressed us. The fish dishes were cooked to perfection and had a wonderfully delicate flavor. The salads were also crisp and very fresh. Great selection for children: The children's menu is truly excellent – ​​not just bland and boring, but perfectly tailored to little ones and deliciously prepared. The whole family was completely satisfied. Attentive service & cozy atmosphere: The service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and prompt. Add to that a really lovely, cozy ambiance where you immediately feel welcome. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. We will definitely be back next time we are in Killarney!

12/09/2026: Food was not very good. Had the muscles and if I had dropped one on the floor it would have bounced back on my plate. My wife had the fish and chips. That’s all she ate that day and spent the night on the toilet. I would avoid.

10/09/2026: The place is a bit small and can feel crowded, but the atmosphere is nice. The food is amazing. I really liked the spicey fish. The fish and chips is very good, too.

10/09/2026: Amazing food and a great experience overall. Staff was friendly and explained that the food was all locally sourced, nothing frozen, which is why Haddock wasn't on the menu.

27/05/2026: Hopefully it's sunny in waterville when you arrive as its a beautiful place and looks stunning on a nice day. The villa is so welcoming, not just for your stay but for food and drink. The atmosphere 👌. Food is reasonably priced and is amazing. And make sure your there for the weekend as the band on a Saturday night was perfect

13/09/2026: Its a small place and when full youre hearing everything from the next table which is ok if you like that type of thing. The atmosphere is quite nice with a long stemmed candle on each table. Toilets were upstairs but maybe there was an accessible toilet downstairs not sure. Food was delicious but the main portions were smaller than I'd expect. My piece of fish was quite thin over a bed of potatoes to bulk it out but it was scrumptious Veg were delicious. My brownie was ok. Didn't taste like it was made that day. Possibly defrosted and warmed up? If a restaurant offers brownies I believe they should be fresh. My husband got the wrong main, he ordered from one menu but got something simular from the smaller menu. Rather than us eating separately while he waited for a replacement he just plowed on. His portion could have done with being at least another quarter in size. Very relaxed and professional staff. Downstairs was busy but we didnt wait excessively long for our orders.

25/08/2026: Very nice cafe/pancake shop. Well known, parking a bit of a problem, although the parking lot is quite large. Outdoor seating is nice, lots of tables. Unfortunately 2 out of 3 pancakes were burnt in the middle.

15/08/2026: I would imagine that they call themselves “The pancake cottage”. I would rather eat sheep dung. Too butter for my sweet tooth.

13/09/2026: Music and beer, great atmosphere, the place was packed, people of all ages. I loved it.

18/08/2026: The service and food were memorable. The venue is cozy and romantic. We only wished we had saved room for dessert because a neighboring table ordered cheesecake and chocolate cake that looked fantastic. The staff makes your dining experience feel relaxed and elevated. I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation if able as they stay busy.
