05/08/2026: This is a smashing restaurant with a bar area. The only downside is that it was quite busy, noisy and very hot on the Friday night when we visited. The food was fantastic with a great choice. Arrive hungry.

29/07/2026: A restaurant on Tralee Bay, offering generous portions, attentive and fast service, and a refined, if perhaps slightly retro, atmosphere. An excellent experience.

14/08/2026: Fabulous bar, beautiful food and staff were so nice! Definitely will be back. I only took one photo, and that's not a great one. We also had carrot and parsnip food, which was gorgeous.

The food is pretty much the same as in any other pub, but having tried several, including three in Kenmare, this one really stands out for the quality of its ingredients. Plus, it's cheaper than other pubs. They have a great live band playing Irish-style pop-rock covers. The pork ribs with homemade BBQ sauce were absolutely excellent. The service was a little slow, but that's a welcome change from other pubs where you're rushed through!

07/08/2026: Great food and wonderful hospitality at Flesk Bar & Restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Flesk Bar & Restaurant. A truly perfect evening in the heart of Killarney: Delicious fish dishes & fresh salads: The quality of the food absolutely impressed us. The fish dishes were cooked to perfection and had a wonderfully delicate flavor. The salads were also crisp and very fresh. Great selection for children: The children's menu is truly excellent – ​​not just bland and boring, but perfectly tailored to little ones and deliciously prepared. The whole family was completely satisfied. Attentive service & cozy atmosphere: The service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and prompt. Add to that a really lovely, cozy ambiance where you immediately feel welcome. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. We will definitely be back next time we are in Killarney!

01/08/2026: I had dinner here with some friends and clearly told the staff that I’m allergic to onions. When my steak (€34) arrived, it was covered with onions. I pointed out the mistake, and the plate was taken back to the kitchen. It came back almost immediately, but it was obvious they had only removed most of the onions, as there were still pieces left on the meat. I explained the issue again. This time I started a timer, and the steak came back in just two minutes. It was hot on the outside but cold in the middle, and the plate itself was cold. It was pretty clear that the steak had simply been rinsed, quickly reheated, and served again instead of being cooked fresh. This is completely unacceptable, especially when a food allergy is involved. If the kitchen makes a mistake like this, the dish should be prepared from scratch, not cleaned off and served again. I’ve attached a photo of the steak as I left it. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I can’t recommend this place.

17/08/2026: Excellent location, wonderful view. Unfortunately, the two main courses were very disappointing. The waitresses were friendly and took care of everything immediately: First, the overcooked, hard goat cheese was replaced without any fuss, and the replacement was fine. Unfortunately, the chef cooked my fish soup so thick, like a pudding with too much flour and potatoes, that I couldn't eat it. I also found far more potatoes than fish in it. What a shame!

17/08/2026: Love everything here and will go back again! - Seafood: so fresh and so tasty - Staff: attentive, friendly and efficient - Speed: when we arrived, the restaurant was packed but we got to order straight away after finished reading the menu and shortly the starters were served. - Music: on the day we went, the band was so good. Mix of Irish and 90' songs - guess was for the party. ** Be advised to book a table before going in especially in summer (we went twice both weekend and weekday, full house).

29/07/2026: Fantastic place, we've visited multiple occasions. Lovely indoor setting but also beautiful outdoor as well. Pancakes are delicious, kids loved them, devoured them all. Staff are terrific and helpful. A real gem.
