02/11/2023: Avoid at all costs. I went here on Mon 30th October with three friends of mine. It's one of the worst meals we have had as a group and we have being going out for dinner in Killarney on a regular basis for years. I had soup for starter and the slice of white bread with it was half stale and the butter was slightly sour. At this stage I was nervous about my main course Salmon dish. I was right to be concerned, the Salmon was totally overlooked and dry, the brocolli was over cooked and from my experience as a chef it was re heated and was also gone off, sour to the taste. The roast potatoes were tasteless and boring. My friends food was in a similar par, infact, we called a halt to the meal after the mains . The thought of getting more food of this poor quality didn't appeal to any of us. The person who cooked this food is no chef in my honest opinion and to add insult to injury the prices are away above what they should be for this this level of cuisine. Standards of food have dropped dramatically in Ireland for the last couple of years, more people should vote with their feet and avoid these establishments. We will never return to this establishment again.

18/02/2024: Stayed locally with relatives and came on their recommendation with them for dinner. We all had the beef burger described by the waitress as ‘unreal’. Best I’ve ever had. Service was perfect and the decor etc is really relaxing. Looking at food on other tables it all looked good. Especially the ribs! Maybe next time….

04/04/2024: A fantastic hotel. Was here for 4 nights. Don’t normally sleep well in hotels but I truly did here. The place was spotless. Here on work so my breakfast and dinner were sorted. Breakfast each morning was great. Full selection of cereals and hot food. Had the pancakes one morning and well worth a try. The bar/restaurant is really nice. Not the typical hotel bar that has no personality. Staff were very friendly and the food was great. Fish and chips the first night. Had the Beef Stroganoff the next 2 as the first night it tasted so good. The last night I had the Peri-Peri chicken burger and it was amazing. Didn’t check out the pool (lazy). Will definitely be back.

01/04/2024: A nice hotel, price was great, rooms were lovely and big, breakfast was nice and service was great. Only downside was that dinner service finished at 8.30 which felt very early. We arrived at 8.30 hoping to be able to order but the chef was already gone. Pool, sauna and steam room facilities were nice, if a little busy. Can’t fault the hotel though.

03/04/2024: Our stay here was awesome! The service was amazing. The rooms were comfortable, clean, quiet, and its so nice having nice touches like water stations close by. It was close to location attractions and the downstairs restaurant and bar is a great place to unwind after a day of running around!

01/04/2024: We got our stay for a night on the second floor at The Heights Hotel Killarney, located very close to the Killarney town. A right turn from the hotel will lead you to the town and a left turn will lead you to torc waterfall. Our stay was very comfortable, the room was very cosy, the mattress on the king size bed was sooo comfortable. Slept like a baby! Their in room washrooms are quite spacious. The hotel looked gorgeous on their website and that is why we chose Killarney hotel., Besides the hotel and stay being gorgeous, the entry to the hotel leads to a car park (huge space). It is apparently a very nice destination for a wedding. Their staff at reception very very kind and welcoming. However the view was not great! We were overlooking the parking.

26/03/2024: Stayed for two nights recently. It's and absolutely beautiful hotel. Great staff food excellent. From checking in it was a lovely experience. Great location. Great relaxing atmosphere 👌

11/03/2024: Such a lovely historic hotel. Updated with style and maintained Well. Service was exceptional. Food was good. Breda(?) was so welcoming, warm and professional. Helping to put me in touch with individuals who might be aware of some of my Irish’s ancestors from the area. Only able to stay one night. Hope to be back. Not quite luxury but very classic and clean.

29/03/2024: Got there for lunch it was busy with no free table, the lovely Anna made sure we get to be seated and we are comfortable! great food good pint and helpful and efficient stuff.

25/03/2024: Lamb and loads of veg (red cabbage, carrots, parsnips, baby corn, broccoli) so delighted. Most places they'd be lazy about the veg - just carrots or carrots & broccoli. So fair play to them!

08/03/2024: Amazing food and top-notch service in the center of Killarney. The new renovation work on the inside makes the whole restaurant feel very modern and welcoming. Tom, the owner, will personally make sure everything about your meal is perfect. Visiting is a must!

The food is so delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing and the service is superb! I definitely recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!!!! My favorite restaurant in Ireland!

02/10/2023: In September this year I visited Ballybunion for the day with my cousin whilst I was over from England. I visited Ballybunion as a child with my parents most summers. My cousin and I had Sunday lunch and it was fantastic, really great service, but more importantly the quality of the ingredients was excellent. I would highly recommend and when I'm back in Ballybunion I will without question return. Wishing you and the entire team all the best.
