13/01/2025: Excellent food. I was with a group that was celebrating a wedding anniversary. The floor staff were amazing, so friendly and accommodating. The standard of food was very high even though it was at end of season. Definitely a must visit If in Kenmare ..

27/12/2024: My family and I have been coming to the Like Tree for YEARS. The best food in Kenmare. Absolutely delicious - chicken wings, Black sole / Shepards Pie and finish with crepes.

30/12/2024: Not a good experience for the price of food! First in 10min time since we came to the restaurant waitresses were serving us 5 times even thought we have said the first time that we need some time to read the menu and that we will order food and drinks together. They were coming back 5 times in only 10 min where we felt under pressure straight away. Anyway, we ordered 2 lasagnas, 2 burgerasand desserts. 1. Lasagnas: Size of lasagna is a disgrace for that price(18.95). Ps.there was no bechamel sauce at all. 2.Burger: Everything was fine except the cheap coleslaw or something similar inside that ruined the whole taste of the burger. 3. Desserts: Banana Split couldnt be more basic. Advice: If you have an opportunity to own a restaurant, do something different and special, and do a great job

04/09/2024: We ate in the restaurant on three evenings (reservations recommended, at least for non-hotel guests like us). Parking directly in front of the house. Very friendly staff. Fantastic food, the best during our 2 1/2 week tour of Ireland (with many good restaurants visited). Prices correspond to the level (two people, starter/main/dessert, wine, beer, various non-alcoholic drinks approx. 100 euros)

20/09/2024: Wow! Wow! Wow! Estábamos en Kenmare para celebrar el cumpleaños de nuestra hija - en - la ley. Entramos sin reserva y eran muy serviciales. Tenía el rollo de huevo de pato que era un especial de entrada. El chef lo convirtió en un plato fuerte y nuestro camarero sugirió las patatas au gratinadas como acompañamiento. Los rollitos de huevo de pato se servían a la mitad en una ensalada de col, frijol y maní con brotes de frijol y un aderezo de chile dulce. Las patatas au gratinadas se hicieron con crema que se remojó con romero. Absolutamente increíble. Lo comería 7 días a la semana. Mi marido, mi hijo y mi hija - en la ley - tenían el pollo asado especial que devoraron. Comida gastropub en su mejor estado!

14/09/2024: We ate at sailors Bar two out of our three nights staying at Oakfield B&B on the recommendation of Marian and Morty and it didn't disappoint . The food was delicious. The scampi wqs our favourite. The young girl serving our table was very attentive and chatted to us about our day. We are looking forward to returning already .

08/09/2024: Great pub! Excellent food and great service! Not very big but very good! We have been coming here since 2013 and have never had a bad meal!
