02/06/2025: Barman was rude and rushed us for our orders. Other server noticed his rudeness and tried his best to help us and be kind to us. Food was typical bar food..
So this is a second review after the first one. I decided to give it another go and go for breakfast and once again a rude member of staff. Now the people behind the counter making sandwiches and coffee and the severs were all absolutely lovely and had smiles. However the lady who took our order was damn rude. When I ordered an item she rolled her eyes as if it was such a big problem for me to order it. Bare in mind it was an item on their breakfast menu during breakfast times so not quote sure what her issue is. And my god talk about rushing us to order aswell. Was so pushy and really wasn't going to wait around for us to make a decision on what we wanted. So even after giving them a second chance it still wasn't the best experience. Once again food for breakfast was lovely and other members of staff were a delight. But of course there's always one.

08/05/2025: Unfortunately the place was very dirty, it smelled really bad, glasses were not washed properly, they were sticky with spots on them, a menu was stained. Staff members were trying their best… It was hard to force ourselves to eat, we barely touched our meals. It was our second time in this cafe, first time it was pretty much the same but a little bit cleaner.

10/05/2025: Great hotel with great staff. Eveningtime pizzas are amazing. Beds are so hard it's like sleeping on the floor, breakfast at 930am was rough. The eggs were rock hard and wasn't much of a selection. But over all a good Hotel
02/05/2025: Arrived from our ~24 straight hours of travel to learn that our reservation was actually for the next day 😣 but Eleanor at the front desk saved us by going out of her way to call another hotel around the corner and secure us a room for the same rate we would’ve paid at Benners! The hotel itself is also gorgeous, highly recommend it

26/03/2025: Food was beyond fantastic. Honestly we were surprised that we had some of the best pasta we had ever had in this hotel restaurant in Tralee.
The cannelloni was absolutely to die for. Drink options were varied and extensive.
Would love to come back here if only for the food.
24/01/2025: Arrived at this restaurant after walking out of Gallys where we were kept waiting twenty minutes and still nobody came to take our order in an empty restaurant so left.Food was amazing and Service was excellent, very efficient waitresses who were friendly and attentive.Food was beautiful, steak sandwich was very tasty and nice to find a strip loin steak in my steak sandwich and not grizzle like some places ,Guinness was good ,my Partner had Chicken which she enjoyed and everything was served warm and fresh.The cheesecake desert was the only dull moment ,a bit tasteless and if not for the caramel sauce would have been brutal .Nice to come out midweek and get nice decent food and drink with proper service.Menu selection is far superior to Gallys with alot more choice and better value.

13/01/2025: First of I would like to say that I did try posting this review on their website but was refused (obviously only accept good reviews)
Went into this chippy Friday,and had to make myself noticeable as the miserable staff didn't even have the courtesy to lift there heads up to me to acknowledge I'd walked up to the counter.
There was 1 other couple in the whole shop eating, no1 else ,after getting finally noticed I had to repeatedly ask for a portion of chips 3 times as the chap serving couldn't be bothered to look up at me whilst he was doing other things like standing wiping the counter.
The portion of chips I got was awful, very small crunchy over cooked chips,clearly these had been re-dropped in the oil to reheat.,chips where terrible hard overcooked and tasteless never have I had this experience in the old quinlans shop.
I have given low scores on this review because it was deserved, get your shop back to giving FRESHLY made beautiful chips PLEASE
