17/12/2024: Delicious food and fantastic drinks! Definitely suggest anyone stop here and get something if you’re in town! It was suggested to me by someone who lives in Tralee and it did not disappoint! Loved the atmosphere and will for sure be going here again!

10/12/2024: Best Fish and chips I've ever had, and I was very welcome by the staff, especially the soft spoken brown haired girl who took my order. I picked a very convenient time to dine- it was very quiet and i especially enjoyed the atmosphere. Cheers for the experience, guys! See ya next time.

29/12/2024: The food itself was lovely, and the atmosphere was lovely. However, be careful of one senior waitress, she's grumpy and rude and made the experience terrible. As soon as we walked through the door, I kindly asked, “Have you possibly any space for a table of five?” In return, I got a sigh, a dirty look, and “Ugh, I'm busy, give me a minute.” While handing out the menus, she plopped them on the table as if we were dogs. When handing out desserts, she said, “Manners?” to my family member for not specifying it was her order. After that, she came back speaking loudly to a colleague saying “they left the plates everywhere”…my apologies were we meant to stack them up for her and bring them to the kitchen? At that point I started to question if we were even at a restaurant. She claimed to be the manager, which is very hard to believe because, as a manager, you are meant to uphold the best service to set a good example for the staff. My family and I kindly tried to express the situation to her, hoping for a simple apology; however, she became aggressive. I’m not one to be loud, yet she told me, “You’d wanna calm down” when I tried to lessen the chaos. This violent, threatening, and hostile attitude should not be tolerated anywhere. As a family who professionalizes and knows what it's like to work in the hospitality sector, no matter what problems occur, we would never act in this manner toward a customer. My family and I are all about respecting the elderly; however, this behavior was completely and utterly unacceptable and disgusting. There was another waitress serving us who was so lovely, welcoming, and kind. Maybe the senior waitress should take notes from her or maybe this is her sign for a very prolonged retirement. Best of luck to the company, though.

18/12/2024: I popped in here for lunch one of the days I was holidaying in the area. And what a place it is. Once inside the decor is very eye catching and quirky. The staff were all very friendly while in costume to add to the feel good atmosphere. And the finishing touch was the food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend visiting this place to see it for yourself.

03/12/2024: Fabulous decor and atmosphere and good well presented food. However victim of its own success can be overcrowded and service can be a bit slow.

13/11/2024: Was a lovely Hotel Nice Staff & Good Food. Food now is Pure Shit. Impossible to get a Hot Meal. Sorry 1 nite I had Chips they were hot. Sorry Breakfast Staff Brilliant And Very Good selection of Food for Breakfast. 10 out of 10

27/08/2024: Lovely spot for a catch-up with lots of seating both inside and outside. Freshly baked goods on offer as well as a wide selection on their menu (mainly visited for breakfast and coffee). Seller of local goods as well as take home meals and frozen goods, supporting local produce. 5 Mile coffee is a winner! Well worth stopping by, all the staff are so welcoming and provide a wonderful service

22/07/2024: Locals to Tralee myself and my husband came in for dinner. Service was very speedy and the food was delicious. My only criticism is that mashed potatoes should be served with roast beef. I was given a baked potato. It was still very tasty. Will definitely return

08/07/2024: First visit . Great menu. We were 5 adults and 3 kids. There was something for everyone . All food was perfectly cooked. Waiter very attentive. Unusually not very chatty for a Kerryman. But all was good. Good value considering the quality.

11/10/2024: Excellent locally sourced food perfectly cooked, beautifully presented. Busy at lunchtime, but still excellent service.

11/08/2024: Hearty dishes, we enjoyed ourselves. Fortunately we can go straight back to the hotel room afterwards.
