Verwacht geen hoogstandjes, maar wel een eerlijk klaargemaakte lekkere maaltijd met heel vriendelijke bediening.
Shepards pie, heerlijk lamsvlees met een grove aardappel puree er bovenop en royaal verse groenten zalm gestoomd met puree en ook broccoli, wortel en een knolgroente en extra patatjes
Huisgemaakte appelcrble met een royale hoevee room ernaast en tot slot een echte espresso

21/08/2024: Ladies night on Thursdays, 2 cocktails for 15. And Friday nights, 2 cocktails for 15. Great deal. Delicious cocktails. Bar staff are friendly and speedy. Great atmosphere.
30/07/2024: A nice pub on the high street. Decent cocktails at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly. Music was a good volume. A bit darkly decorated but still overall a nice place.

19/10/2024: Had a lovely relaxing breakfast.
06/10/2024: No matter how hungry you are, do NOT order the Asian Stir Fry. Horrible tasting food. It was swimming in a thick vinegar sauce that had such a strong taste, you couldn't taste anything else. When I went to pay, I complained to the waitress and I got "Thank you for your feedback".
Shall I talk about the espresso? Black water.
Horrible. Never again.
At least the tea my wife took was good.

27/09/2024: Met my girlfriends for lunch on a Saturday,1pm. They have a varied menu but mostly sandwich,wrap type foods,with two main meal dinner type specials,for lunch menu. Nice staff and left us chat away for 2hours! Free carpark at rear of restaurant.
06/09/2024: Bland. Had avocado toast... FYI, smashed avocado doesn't also need hummus, especially not the beetroot kind. Hummus tasted of nothing, bread was too thick, no salad or vegetables with it. Maybe other dishes are good, but they are failing on on the non-meat options. Coffee was OK, not bitter, but for a 3 shot americano it was very mild.

13/09/2024: In spite of them not allowing me to host my birthday party on the premises STILL 5 STARS đđđ.
Oh and the junkies tapping at the door aren't the worst but still a bit annoying so it really is impressive that this place has such good ratings.
20/07/2024: Chicken burger dry, chips warm, gravy warm,1 piece chicken on the bone warm,nothing hot and can of coke warm . Tenders were fresh though and hot.

Loud terrible music
Service appalling. Nearly 2.5 hours waiting for simple bistrol food.
Sat down, 20 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted anything.
Give it a serious miss.

08/11/2024: Supermacâs can be likened as a Salt Republic. They add much salt in every thing plus the foods have lost good taste. More like lost glory. I wonât eat or buy there again after a horrible experience. Pls Improve.

23/07/2024: Extremely over rated and expensive asked waitress if we could substitute a breakfast item for another item was told No! And if we wanted it we wouldhave pay extra. In times where businesses should be glad to get customers a small bit of give and take would go a long way and maybe if staff smiled and remembered Irish are known all over the world for their hospitality . WOULD NOT RETURN .
26/06/2024: Was a place we always liked to stop on our way to Limerick/Clare and liked it for its nice food and atmosphere. Visited a couple of times in the last number of months & was hugely dissatisfied with the experience. Very poor customer service, we were forgotten about on both occasions & almost given out to / grunted at when we asked if our order could be taken. Food is nice but very overpriced. Toilet area could be cleaner & door of one was left open by wait staff so we had a full view of a toilet while eating. Unfortunately we wonât be returning.

13/09/2024: Really surprised by previous reviews. Seems like they are describing a different restaurant. Really want to be supportive of Irish restaurants but the food was very poor. Service was great and friendly but ultimately you go to a restaurant for the food and if that is bad, itâs hard to recover from that.

06/09/2024: The hotel is excellent, beautiful surrounding and restaurants fantastic.
Had a slight issue with billing but to be fair to the hotel it was sorted very professionally and promptly.
Would definitely recommend.

Staying here is an experience that really lives up to the expectations with the name âThe Savoyâ.
Staff are professional but friendly.
Breakfast is such a treat and should not be missed.
Dined in the Hamptons Restaurant and it was delicious and reasonably priced.
I would highly recommend this hotel, restaurant and bar.
I stayed in an executive room which gave me access to the executive lounge with refreshments available at no charge.
Rooms are large, comfortable beds with a safe and a fridge.
Lived our 3 nights here and was sad to be leaving.
