The pork tomhawk was amazing.
And a great pint of Guinness.
11/10/2026: Food was good but that's it. We weren't asked if we want any drinks, we didn't get a water and ketchup/mayonnaise basket until I had to ask about it at the nearly end of the meal. They even switched off the heater in the patio with our table being the last one occupied. We weren't charged for a late pint of Guinness (we asked 3 different waitresses to finally get it) but that doesn't justify how we were treated here.

28/07/2026: We went here on Sunday morning. What a fantastic set up. A group of 14 people. A great selection of food on the menu for everyone. Service was very efficient. Portions are large so it helped that we were all hungry.And everyone left very happy.

13/09/2026: The restaurant is very charming and the service very good and friendly. We had high expectations for the food, which the appetizers met. Unfortunately, the main dishes were disappointing, especially the vegetarian pasta. The dessert was good, but not extraordinary. Overall, we felt that the prices did reflect the current quality.
28/08/2026: A gourmet restaurant. The welcome was warm, the young waitress was very friendly and pleasant, and the food lived up to our expectations! My wife and I treated ourselves and had a very, very enjoyable time! I recommend it 100%.

08/09/2026: Charged nearly 19€ for a southern fired chicken. A spoon of rice, two small potatoes and a few carrots with pepper sauce the plate was not over flowing and a can of Coke Zero . Absolutely rip off. Never again
04/09/2026: Had a ham dinner in there yesterday and I was very happy with same.Lots of food on the plate and I found the staff lovely and cheerful.The price was very reasonable into the bargain.I will be back !!!

19/06/2026: The staff here are so nice and the food is very tasty. We visited with a large group including a child twice last week for brunch & both times really enjoyed the food. Its a nice cosy relaxing atmosphere with options for everyone. Would recommend
25/04/2026: If I had a 4.5 star option that is how I’d rate Delish in Castletroy. I’ve had breakfast here a few times and it’s always consistent. The service is good and the food is even better. Quality ingredients and everything cooked fresh. They don’t over charge either for extra eggs or things like that like some places. Overall it’s fairly priced for what you get. No complaints and would recommend it to others.
