The Blue Door

Adare
09/07/2026: We got some pizzas and cokes- Coke was flat and came in a glass (no bottle/ can), pizza was tasty but in basic, frozen pizza kind of way. Service was friendly- lots of staff. It’s a real tourist spot in a lovely location with friendly staff but we thought the food was disappointing
06/07/2026: Beautiful restaurant, great service! Really nice experience.

Fieldings of Adare Restaurant

Adare
02/06/2026: All very well done. The rooms are not air conditioned; it doesn't get hot in Ireland
28/05/2026: Revisited the Woodlands with the IMET retreat. It has become an annual event and I love it. I look forward to the hotel, the bedroom, the food, the grounds, the spa ... It's just magic. Every staff member is so friendly and kind and helpful. Another wonderful experience. Thank you all πŸ€—

Aunty Lena's

Adare
15/07/2026: Stopped in Adare on the way to Kerry for lunch with the kids. We were given a bar menu rather than the menu shown on the website. The waitress didn't seem to be listening to our order and had to come back to confirm what we had asked for. We ordered the kids' pasta and kids' burger. The pasta was simply an adult-sized portion of plain pasta with a tiny side of what tasted like jarred pasta sauce no more than two or three tablespoons to mix in. The kids' burger had to be sent back twice. The first time, both the bun and burger were burnt. It came back with a fresh bun but the same burnt burger, suggesting they had simply swapped the bun. We sent it back again. For the adults, we ordered the buffalo wings, truffle fries, and lamb stew. The truffle fries were alright. The buffalo wings were submerged in an oddly sweet sauce with peppers that tasted more like a Thai-style curry than buffalo sauce. The lamb stew was pale and looked like it had come from a pre-made packet. The broth had the thick, gloopy consistency of the filling from a tinned pie, as though it had been heavily thickened with cornflour. The total came to €58, which felt very poor value for the quality of the food. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. I'd recommend saving your money and eating elsewhere.
11/07/2026: Sat at our seats 20 minutes and no service.

Adare
19/07/2026: This Michelin Guide restaurant itself is located in a stunning, postcard-perfect thatched cottage that captures the magic of Adare village beautifully. We thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings and the food, but the highlight of the meal was for me was definitely the French Onion soup, so rich and indulgent!
18/07/2026: The food was excellent really amazing, wonderful service.

Dunraven Arms

Adare
29/05/2026: 2 night stay, fabulous service from the staff, luxurious room, great choice for breakfast, and a fine pint of Guinness πŸ˜‹ highly recommend stay here πŸ’“
07/05/2026: The Dunraven hotel is an incredibly beautiful old hotel located right on the main street in Adare. Really enjoyed the large bedroom and large bathroom. All the rooms are this way which makes it very easy to relax and unwind. I would have to say that our hotel room is easily twice the size of a typical European hotel room.
