06/10/2025: After this wonderful place was recommended by several locals we decided to try it at last. Blue Serenade did not disappoint. The food was exceptional lovely flavours fresh and wholesome. Wonderful presentation. Great value for money. Easy parking. Peter who looked after us was so chatty helpful attentive as provided exceptional service. This place has exceptional reviews has a great reputation in the town for its service great food and ambience. Peter the owner treats everyone who comes through the door in a lovely courteous genuine and professional manner. A wonderful hidden gem in Castlebar.

26/07/2025: The service was alright and so was the food but the atmosphere created by the manager was absolutely horrible with her roaring at not only her staff but also the customers which is absolutely disgusting behaviour from someone of her position in the job and with all honesty if there won’t be any progress made by her to be a better manager caring about her own team and customers the place won’t be so nice to visit it anymore

08/06/2025: Awful place, you can't imagine a worse place! For six months, the cashiers still haven't learned to differentiate between drinks - you say "Sprite", they always give you "Coke". They constantly ask again, they have poor hearing, and sometimes it seems like they just don't listen. This is no longer an accident, but a systemic problem. The food is a separate disaster. They very often forget to put a burger or a wing. Or maybe they don't put it on purpose - how else to explain this constant "undercount" in the order? The service is disgusting, the attitude towards the client is like an empty space. I hope this place will either close or the staff will be completely replaced, because in its current form it does not deserve a penny.

18/09/2025: The new matcha is absolutely delicious! I recommend getting matcha here (the seasonal new product). I got the strawberry & coconut. It doesn't taste like fish, it's good matcha, you can feel it.

14/09/2025: We visited the store to sample the white hot chocolate and I can only say it was anything but what I ordered From the staff rude to what can only be described as a headache on tap from loud music to shouting all over it was a very unpleasant experience and worst of all I was ripped off aswell. The so called white hot chocolate amounted to hot milk in a glass with a tea spoon of sugar but definitely not what I ordered or advertised.
