10/03/2025: Went for an anniversary meal for four on Saturday evening.
The service was first class, the waiter and waitress were amazing.
The food was out of this world, best meal for years, will be booking for when we are in Ireland again.
20/02/2025: Food is top notch, staff are brilliant, wine list is really good, couldn’t recommend The Dining Room more. It’s been a couple of years since my last visit and I definitely won’t leave it as long until next time. Great value for the standard of the meal

01/03/2025: If you are in Castlebar or anywhere in Mayo, don’t miss this excellent restaurant. The food is superb, the wine is expertly paired with each dish and the little extras are a real treat. Service is friendly and the whole experience never disappoints. We’ve visited about 5 times now and we will be back many more times.

19/02/2025: The food was exceptionally fantastic, and 4 of us polished off both our dinner( beef burger, goat cheese burger, 1 pepperoni pizza & chicken maryland) & dessert. Every bite was blissful. The number 1 pick was the banana ice cream. The staff were amazing, very helpful, and have great personalities & the price was very reasonable

26/02/2025: I ate here at the wend with my husband and son. The food was really good and tasty, nice menu & choice, friendly staff. We had 2 courses and everyone was happy with what they got! We look forward to going back, would highly recommend!
10/02/2025: Very warm welcome with sympathy, great help in realizing a birthday surprise. Thank you very much. Delicious food, perfectly prepared scallops, tender steak and a delicious fish dish of the day. Very good coffee and dessert. High-quality professional service. All this at pleasantly surprising prices. We will definitely come back, we highly recommend it.

I've visited a few Supermacs over the years with some right miserable employees who'd have you waiting a century for the food, but that's not the case here. I especially have to praise the manager, the tall guy with glasses--genuinely sound guy.

02/03/2025: Tables Filthy. Not One empty table cleared while I was sitting and there were 5 in my view. Customers had to clear tables to make room. Ridiculous with the prices charged.
