01/12/2024: Food was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Honestly one of the nicest meals we both ever had! We definitely recommend a visit. Lovely atmosphere & very friendly staff

25/11/2024: Went here recently for a family birthday party, food was fresh and very well presented. Menu was excellent great selection for everyone. Lots of us had their prime steaks and they were on point, I had the hake which was delicious and a great portion too. Service was brilliant very friendly and efficient staff especially the very smiley blonde lady. Will definitely be back!

10/11/2024: Food is fantastic and a great selection. The staff are very friendly. Would come back again. One small recommendation to owners is to stop charging for a jug of miwadi for a table of kids especially when the spend is over 100 euros.

30/09/2024: A short drive from Athlone and well worth it. Busy pub with varied dishes and blackboard specials. Maybe not as much seafood as I had expected but still something for everyone. The Fjord mussels were delicious though. As I was driving I tried the 0% red wine but not a success. Will stick to soft drinks in the future.

30/10/2024: Find out what Chef is on before you order! So hit and miss. Used to go once a week now, it's not worth the hassle. There is one chef who's food is awful Keep telling them but they obviously don't care. No consistency. Some evenings it is fab and others inedible. Pity...

13/10/2024: Service was very good and food was amazing love the bathroom very clean nice to go for a family dinner quick and so much atmosphere amazing vegetable soup ,garlic bread , steak ,hake ,chocolate brownie . You get rolls on your table when you arrive.Staff are kind and helpful

23/11/2024: The service was fantastic, the staff is very accommodating. We had a room to ourselves with three tables. Everything was served together, and all special requests were made. The food, as always was very good. Thank you for a great night.

13/12/2024: Had the worst customer service experience. Placed order at the Kiosk and after waiting 25 mins enquired about our order. Was told there was a technical problem and the order was not on their screen. Asked how this happened to be told it was a technical problem, not their fault. Requested a refund after explaining we were on a long journey and not prepared to wait any longer and a staff member who repeated ‘technical problem’ one too many times gave us a cash refund, despite having paid by card, with no effort made to rectify our bad experience. If the staff member in question would like to know how to improve her customer service, she could have reviewed our order, offered us what she could have given to us immediately and refunded the rest, thus keeping us from hunger and keeping the company she works for from losing the total amount of the order.

25/09/2024: Amazing quality food, service is very good also, staff very friendly. The only two things I would change there is the background music, for something more relaxed and classy, like instrumental classic music for example, and also some colour to the tables, like a center piece with flowers, even fake ones, to give some more visual appeal. These are just small details, but we will be back for sure, and very soon.

27/11/2024: Had a school reunion lunch with 9 other people recently.The restaurant was warm,comfortable and staff were excellent.We bought wine but you can bring your own and pay 3e corkage.The location is ideal,3 doors from Sean's bar,Irelands oldest pub.
